As a dry skin type, I'm team AHA all the way! I love how AHAs help with my dry patches, texture and dullness. Glycolic acid is one of the most researched and effective AHAs out there.

I noticed some people mentioned a fruity scent but I didn't really pick up on it. There's no added fragrance or essential oils in here.

It's waxier than some cleansing balms. I don't personally mind that texture but I do feel I need a bit more product to smooth it over my entire face. 

This works really well! Didn't leave a film and emulsifies easily. I also love the squeeze tube packaging, so much easier to use than a jar. 

It certainly feels soothing, but it's really more of a gel so it's not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. The ingredients impressed me overall though, I think oily skin would love the texture, and acne-prone skin could benefit from the soothing ingredients.

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review.

The Soothing Cream has lovely ingredients like 74% centella extract, ginger, ceramides, cholesterol, licorice, beta-glucan, and even tranexamic acid which is well-known for brightening but may also help with redness caused by skin sensitivity. 

Note that the product is scented. The other major downside is the price! ($80 for 1oz)

This is actually my first product from Fresh! It's super new to my collection so I'll have to keep you updated on the results. Between the soft fragrance and the gorgeous glass packaging, it definitely feels luxurious. 

I don't really struggle with acne, but I like to exfoliate to help with skin texture and dullness, so I'm using this a few times a week all over my face rather than as a spot treatment. Non irritating like most of CeraVe's products, it's really gentle. 

I also love that it's not glass, I reach for this over my exfoliating serums in glass packaging when I travel because I know it won't break.
