VT x BTS skincare!?

I have been really interested in trying japanese sunscreen. Have tried Anessa but its loaded with alcohol. BUT, somewhat didnt cause any breakout. I heard that alcohol has its purpose in the sunscreen, but hmm. What are your toughts on Japanese sunscreen?

I recently purchased this sunscreen and this has 2 filters only. We do not know the exact % of the filters, but regardless of that, are these two filters enough to give protection to someone who lives in a tropical country? 😊

Uvinal A + Tinosorb B - enough protection?

Contains both perfuming agent and essential oil, and the scent is very obvious in my opinion. Not suitable for people with sensitive skin.

This pad is actually pretty legit guys, it managed to even out the uneven bumps and soothe my active pimples. But from my personal experience, in terms of its exfoliation properties, this pad is more effective in evening out tiny bumps only, and not my milia (only AHA can clear my milia).

Texture and Scent (4.5&#47;5) – This cleanser has a thick gel texture that foams up surprisingly well. Compared to the other gel cleansers that I have tried, I have to say that this one gives the best cleansing experience due to its ability to produce a lot of bubbles, yet still very gentle on the skin. Minus 0.5 points because I wish that this cleanser has a more obvious scent? I know that this might sound weird, but with the presence of the EO in this, I was expecting some pleasant smell, which is something that I do not mind in the cleansing step. 

Price and Packaging (5&#47;5) – I bought this at only S$30 from Shopee (official store) for two which was super affordable for a huge 150ml product. For my non-Singaporean friends, you can purchase this from Olive Young at US$15-17.

Performance (5&#47;5) – It is a great gentle cleanser that performs its job well without any stripping feeling. My skin feels really nice and somewhat hydrated after washing my face with this cleanser. Their website states that this cleanser can remove makeup as well, but do note that I do not use this cleanser to remove my makeup, and I always recommend double cleansing for makeup removal.

Overall experience (4.8&#47;5) – I love this cleanser, what else can I say? I dare say that now I prefer this cleanser over the Krave Beauty one for a couple of reasons. It is accessible here in Singapore, relatively more affordable and bigger in size. This cleanser also has the ability to adhere better on my palm, if that makes sense? The Krave Beauty one slips really easily and I often end up wasting the product. Lastly, this gel cleanser foams up really well which makes my cleansing experience more pleasant. 

I would recommend this cleanser to anyone really. This is such an underrated cleanser and needs more attention in my opinion.

Has essential oil, smells like candy in my opinion. Cause breakout on my face and pills throughout the day. Im so sad that I can only wear this for my body 😢😢

Contains both Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide as their filters, along with other promising antioxidants. Texture is very runny, blends seamlessly and results ini minimal white cast. This sunscreen is very waterproof which makes it great for an outdoor sunscreen!

Texture and Scent (4&#47;5): As the name suggests, like any other water cream, the texture feels pretty lightweight and gets absorbed easily on the skin without any tackiness. Minus one point as I am not a big fan of the scent. Despite being fragrance-free, this cream has a slight chemical-y scent which I do not like. But its okay, no big deal. 😅

Packaging and Price (4&#47;5): I love the packaging!❤️ The packaging is very simple (to make recycling easier) and aesthetic, with customizable stickers inside the packaging box. I prefer a squeeze tube packaging for my moisturizers as it is more hygienic. The price point depends on where you buy. I bought mine from this Qoo10 shop for only S$14.8 which I think is a really good price point. I am aware that this cream is slightly expensive in other shops, but for such elegant formulation, I think that this cream is still worth buying if the price is S$25 and below. 

Skin Benefit (5&#47;5): I was slightly worried when I saw this ingredient because sometimes my skin reacts weirdly to oils as some oils can cause tiny bumps on my skin (I am not sure why). But I am glad to confirm that this water cream did not cause any breakouts on my skin. My skin feels more hydrated and nourished after using this cream. 

Overall (4.3&#47;5): This is a great basic moisturizer with great ingredients 😊. In terms of benefit, I don’t think there is anything special about this cream, other than its moisturizing and soothing properties. This cream is really lightweight, hence I would recommend this product for oily-combination skin only, as well as those with dehydrated and sensitive skin. Despite my super oily skin, I have been loving thicker and more emollient moisturizer for my nighttime routine, so I only use this for my morning skincare routine.

🤔 I looked online and each sheet mask is $3.5-4 which is quite expensive.

❤️‍🔥 Love the thin-gel material of the sheet mask, it sits nicely on my skin. Some people might find this sheet mask flimsy but I prefer this kind over the super ‘stiff’ ones. It is biodegradable which adds more points!
❤️‍🔥 VERY hydrating, I skipped my toner, essence, and serum, and goes straight to my moisturizer step.
❤️‍🔥 VERY soothing, I can feel the obvious cooling effect. Experienced no stinging.
❤️‍🔥 Great simple ingredients, great for sensitive skin. Has Niacinamide too!
