Bought this after seeing rave reviews from Dr Dray. This costed about SGD 23 and lasted me a loong time. I can see how dry to very dry people will like this but it doesn’t absorb for oily skin. I use this for my body/hands and it works well enough! Still takes a while to sink in for normal skin though. If you’re feeling very dry and irritated, this product will work perfectly for you. Texture: Very similar to the Ultra Shield except it is slightly runnier, dries a little faster and slightly more lightweight due to the higher alcohol content. 

Finish: Same as the Ultra Shield but it has a strong cooling effect due to the menthol. 

Scent: Strong peppermint oil scent. 

The Good: Even more water-resistant than the Ultra Shield due to its formulation. Feels very cooling which I like but not for everyone. Exceptional UV protection and photo-stability (same UV filters in both products). Can be applied on wet skin. Lightweight and comfortable. Claims to be removable with a regular cleanser. No stinging or irritation despite the higher content of alcohol and inclusion of menthol. 

The Bad: Cooling effect is very strong and some may not like it. Its strong peppermint scent. Pills sometimes depending on my base. Same level of white cast as Ultra Shield. 

Overall thoughts: I love both products and will continue to repurchase. I use Ultra Shield for my face and Sport for my neck, chest and body!

These two products work but omg the pilling… Both are very silicone heavy. The Vitamin C on the left works like bleach. It instantly brightens and lightens my skin tone by at least one shade. It has a mild tingling effect like other strong vitamin C products but did not seem to irritate my sensitive redness-prone skin. The brightening effect seems to stay on even after washing the product off. I’ve tried putting this on before and after other skincare/makeup products but it pills no matter what. I will probably use it as a 30min mask moving forward. It does not contain water (silicone-based), hence it does not oxidise and no refrigeration is needed. It can last 12months after opening at room temperature! I hope I can find a similar product that does not pill. Water-based vitamin C does not seem to work for me. One of (if not) the worst expensive sunscreen I’ve tried. Does not stay on your skin; comes off and transfers the moment anything touches it. Be prepared for a very wet and slimy brush/sponge if you try to powder it. Alcohol and fragrance free. The counter girl told me it is sweat-resistant (not on the bottle), but I can’t see how if it doesn’t even stay on your face. The Not So Good: Visible white cast — it’s a mild tone up for my light skin tone. Not suitable to be used around the eyes — Any liquid-y product has a tendency to move around as you blink and get into the eye, causing irritation, which is what happened to me. 

Texture: Silicone-y; Lightweight, non-tacky “dry oil” (there’s no oil in this, it’s the silicones)

Finish: Very natural with a hint of radiance. Not shiny! 

Scent: Mild sunscreen scent. Fragrance-free. 

The Good: Exceptional UV protection. Very photostable and very water-resistant. Can be applied on wet skin. No pilling. Works well under makeup. Lightweight, comfortable finish.  Claims to be removable with a regular cleanser (but I always double-cleanse). No stinging or irritation experienced.
