Does anyone have any hacks when it comes to doing makeup with glasses? (I've also been breaking out where the bridge touches the sides of my nose, so any help with that is welcome! ♥️)

Help with scams!

Hey guys! I've been wanting to try hypochlorous acid for a while, but the only mainstream product I can find is the tower 28 sos spray, but I'm not big on dropping 30 pounds on it. Obviously I've seen the Amazon versions, but I'm also a bit iffy on buying beauty products off of Amazon in general so I'd love it if you could recommend me any products (preferably a spray) that you have tried or if you've bought a safe one off of Amazon <3

Hypochlorous Acid Products

Hi! I have what I believe to be hormonal acne, as it only occurs on my chin and jawline in painful cysts usually, and gets worse depending on my cycle. 

I wanted to ask if the pill is the only viable option to clearing it, having tried oral antibiotics and a range of topical treatments including differin and benzoyl peroxide (which my skin is intolerant to)

Have you or anyone you know cleared this up "naturally"? Ie without the pill, as it's a long road to getting it here. It's been suggested to me before but I refused because I was still young. 

So is there anything I can try to clear it before that? Teas, diet etc, I'm trying to cut out dairy to see if that helps

This is the main focus of picky, which has become a lot more content creation focused lately rather than a review platform, but the reviews feature remains a key feature! 
Essentially, to win you have to write in depth, detailed reviews (picky say quality> quantity so ensure you write GOOD and HONEST reviews). Im afraid to say 2-3 sentences just isn't enough in my experience so pick products you have a lot to say about.

2. Content
If you're lucky enough (sometimes it is just luck) to be chosen, don't expect the products to arrive instantly - be prepared for them to arrive a month or more after you win or to arrive unannounced
The most important part is your review, make it as detailed and honest as possible (I'll admit I've been guilty of not doing enough detail sometimes)

Content wise, ensure you have good lighting and make sure to display as many aspects of the product as possible, including the texture and anything unique you want to show

I know it is frustrating when you don't win, but please understand that there are many people who are super active on here, so more likely to be picked. I can think of a number of excellent reviewers who win a lot because they write WONDERFUL in depth reviews. So please don't be disheartened when you don't win asap. Just be consistent and review when and what you can. My mentality is that if you get free products, great! if not, that's fine.

p.s there are too many amazing ingredients in this product to mention them all, i’ve never seen so much green on an INCI list in my LIFE, reading it makes me want this to be a face cream (currently shopping for more from the same range as this)
~Niacinamide: All over “superstar” ingredient, brightening, anti acne, anti-aging (anti-everything)
~Bakuchiol: Plant based retinol alternative, cell-communicating, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, another all around amazing ingredient which many k-beauty brands are championing at the moment 

𝓜𝔂 𝓞𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼
 I usually don’t buy or use eye cream, I never really believed in it, but Skin 1004 may have just changed my mind. The consistency is on the thicker side, which is nice for an eye cream, it has a very slight scent but nothing too overpowering, just pleasant. Sometimes I get a sting under the eyes, but this felt so soothing and afterwards my under eyes felt firmer and extremely hydrated. For someone with few issues with under eye bags (a little bag and some discolouration) I was amazed that this actually helped, I noticed my bags were less prominent and less dark! 
The applicator is silicone with a very comfortable shape, however I’d love the cooling sensation of a metal applicator, but this is easily achieved with a jade roller or those weird orb things.

No complaints from me, but it is quite scented, so if you have sensitive skin you might want to avoid <3

𝙺𝚎𝚢 𝙸𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜:
Aloe Extract: Helps to soothe the skin and leaves it feeling calm and hydrated
Ginseng: Known to improve blood circulation and also an antioxidant 
Honey: Has antibacterial, hydrating and antioxidant properties!

𝙼𝚢 𝚃𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜:
I love, love, love this cream! It's so hydrating and makes my skin looks so plump. It has a thick, sticky texture (more so than the cosrx snail mucin essence) so it's perfect for my combination skin which is drier in the winter. It gives me the perfect glass skin finish and makes my skin feel firm and prepared for makeup or to go to bed! It absorbs nicely after a little patting and doesn't feel too sticky


The only bad thing I could say is that it didn't feel waterproof, so if you get your face wet, make sure to reapply!

With:

⁠☆Jojoba Oil - moisturises the skin, leaving it soft and supple
⁠☆ Camellia (green tea) extract - Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory 
☆Hyalaronic acid - helps the skin hold moisture to stop that dry feeling

I recently went on holiday, so this stick has really been put through it. As someone with oily skin. I loved how well this mattified me, it is easy to apply and didn't irritate my skin. I especially enjoyed it at the beach, as it moisturised and calmed my irritated salty skin. If you hate looking shiny or that heavy feeling on the skin, this is for you!

Nothing really bad to say- although it does cost £25

Key Ingredients:
Overall what surprised me pleasantly was that the ingredients list is so incredibly simple!! One of the shortest I've seen (makes me wonder why this is nearly 30 quid)
Glycerin- Nice simple moisturizer
Pomegranate ferment extract- An enzyme which helps with exfoliating the skin and can be an alternative to acids

My thoughts:
A vegan alternative to snail mucin, this product has much of the same texture, if a little less 'slimy'. It sinks in well to the skin and feels really nice and hydrating, I haven't seen any other benefits for my skin other than the skin barrier support that this offers. As for the exfoliating element, I can't seem to get it to ball, no matter how much I add or how much i (gently) rub - if you have any tips for this please don't hesitate to share! As a result, I couldn't really check out the exfoliating function of this product, but I'll update my review as and when I try it out <3

I can see it being hard to get the last bits of product out without cutting the tube and risking the product being contaminated or oxidized but this is the same for all tube based products, so not a particular issue with this product!!

My thoughts !
I absolutely love this sunscreen. I have combo to oily skin so I love that it contains niacinamide to help control sebum production to keep me less oily and shiny throughout the day. This sinks into the skin wonderfully and has a thicker texture, with a slightly glowy finish to start with which dries down to a velvet finish. 
The packaging has a handy pump which is fine with the thicker texture and helps give less mess.
