Shared my Acne journey on Instagram!

Hi guys, please share the products you swear by for soothing and calming the acne prone skin. I tried the purito's green buffet level serum but it did not really worked. I mean I know I would have to use it consistently and yes we have different skin types but I am sure there are some products which instantly does work ( not like healing acne) like reducing the irritation and inflammation.🥰🥰

COSRX AC Collection Review.

It can slight feel heavy if you live in a hot and humid climate ( for oily to combination skin people)

The alcohol smell turns me off sometimes 

Update: it stings my eyes quite badly and I couldn't use it on my face, finished up on ny body.

This is my first product from La Roche Posay and I was extremely delighted to try the most raved chemical sunscreen.

Texture: Light weight and runny water like consistency which I thought I won't like but surprisingly I liked it. It is non sticky but takes up sometime to absorb in your skin specially if you have oily to combination skin.

It can feel a bit heavy if you apply a lot in one go (oily to combo skin)

There's absolutely no white cast and no pilling which was quite surprising to me again.

Packaging: I have never seen any sunscreen with such a unique packaging, small and compact, easy to travel with.

Application: Leaves a semi matte finish once completely absorbed by the skin, reapplication also goes on smoothly.

Fragrance: I read that the formulation doesn't contain any fragrance but I can smell alcohol quite strongly which goes away quickly but just to take note of.

Final thoughts:  I like this sunscreen on my skin since it didn't irritate my acne and didn't sting my eyes either, I just have to wait few mins to apply a generous amount on my face because it feels a bit heavy to me. Rest aside, this sunscreen is definitely a keeper.

Dry skin people will love it for sure!

What I liked?🙌

1.  Slightly thicker texture and takes some time to blend

2. Leaves no white cast 

3. Contains a combination of 7 chemical and physical filters 

4. Contains no alcohol 

5. Contains Niacinamide 

What I didn’t like?👎

1. Contains menthol to soothe the skin but the cooling sensation is too strong and personally I don’t want this ingredient to be in my skincare

2. Smells like baby powder and a bit like menthol

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I will prefer to use this on my body instead.


Not suitable for people with dry skin.
It takes some time to blend it in.

🌺Key ingredients:  This contains active mineral ingredients to protect the skin against both UVA & UVB.

Guaiazulene & houttuynia cordata extract are specially meant for soothing & hydrating the skin which is pretty difficult to find in a Sunscreen.

Enantia chloranta bark extract is another Ingredient which helps in  eliminating excess oil.

🌺 Formulation: Texture is lightweight though spreadability takes some time. For me, when I get a new product, the first thing I do is to sniff it otherwise my nose would go crazy, thankfully it has a very mild 
owdery scent & leaves a matte powdery slightly toned-up finish (because of the brightening effect)

 It will leave a whitecast if not blended properly and it actually depends on different skin tones.

🌺FINAL THOUGHTS

I actually love this Sunscreen and the best part is I felt no irritations whatsoever. I don't mind if a Sunscreen is chemical or physical but if it ends up breaking me out, It's like a total waste.
 I felt no itchiness or any irritation. It also works pretty well underneath makeup.

I have been loving this cream for the past 3 months now, the ingredient list is bang on, contains skin brightening ingredients like Beta Glucan, Niacinamide, Arginine, Centella Asiatica etc

I love how lightweight it is in texture and absorbs in my skin so beautifully.

The fragrance is mild and fresh☺️

I believe it will suit all the skin types because it really hydrates my skin ( I have combination skin type and acne prone) 

Not at all sticky, easy to apply and spreads beautifully

Yesss!!! It works like magic✨

This product is vegan and cruelty• free which I love! Extremely safe for all the pregnant
mammas as well.☺️

I. The packaging is absolutely sturdy and convenient.
2. The texture is light weight (watery serum), non sticky until it is completely absorbed by skin
and blends quite fast.
3. Contains:
Artichoke Extract 7S%, fermented brown rice and
Bifida Ferment Lysate ( Vegan Probiotics) which is completely focused to calm the skin and boosting inherent skin strength by restoring skin barrier.😌
It also contains hyaluronic acid which leaves a beautiful bouncy glow on the face and glides smoothly under makeup.
4. This thing realty works in IS mins, I have used it on my irritated red skin so many times and soothes so well.
5. Takes about a minute to get absorbed and leaves a beautiful healthy glow.
