Hey everyone! I’ve been struggling with backne for awhile now and I was curious if any of you have product or ingredient recommendations for it? Also, any tips to prevent it?

In terms of brightening, I didn’t see any results. To be fair, I’ve only been using the product a little over a week. 

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review.

Key ingredients: Centella Asiatica 90%, MadeWhite (Madecassoside), Niacinamide,  Panthenol, and Glycerin

How to use: put some on a cotton pad or on your hands and gently pat it into your skin.

The product was hydrating and calming, great for dry skin, however, I believe all skin types can use this. 
This toner has no scent. 
I was breaking out slightly and after a few days of using this, my skin was less red. My skin is sensitive so it didn’t cause any irritation. 
The texture is runny, kind of like water. The product isn’t sticky at all.

This moisturizer irritated my skin; it contains fragrance so that may be why. I have sensitive and dry skin and this burned my cheeks a bit. It has a slight blue tint to it.

It has a slightly thick consistency which I personally love! It’s targetted for dry skin due to the hyaluronic acid + glycerin and it works so well. I used it everyday at night, you can use it AM too, but it may be too thick depending on your skin type. Retails for around $24 USD.

I have dry and sensitive skin and I did a quick patch test on my neck before using it. It tingled my skin, so I thought it would irrtate the rest of my face, however, I still gave it another try and it did not break me out.

But, I don’t think this is an everyday product for me. Compared to my regular cleanser, this is definitely more drying probably due to the ingredients; I had to use more moisturizer than normal. I think this would be great to use once a week for my skin! 

Also, the scent isn’t that bad? Though, I can definitely see people not enjoying it. 

Honestly, I believe my back will enjoy this product more than my face. Will have to give it a try!

First off, the texture of this cleanser is phenomenal! It’s so creamy and foams up nicely. Probably the best cleanser, in terms of texture, that I’ve used my whole life.

Also, a little goes a LONG way!  Because this product has ingredients that are drying, using too much may or may not be a good idea. 

The product also came with a cute headband and note that I didn’t expect, but appreciated! The note was handwritten too and just shows the effort that they put into their service.

I’ve only used the product for a little over a week so I didn’t see any brightning results. 

The product on its own works well, however, when I used it alongside the toner I saw myself breaking out. 

I’m also not a big fan of the little beads. The texture of it bothered me.

How to use: I just used the dropper and squeeze the full drop for my face and neck. I used it both morning and night. 

The ampoule was hydrating and didn’t irritate my skin! Plus there’s no scent! 
The texture is similar to other serums, so it’s runny but not to the point as water. 
The dropper was convenient to use and the product absorbed relatively quick. 


It has a slight rose fragrance and I’m not sure if that was the ingredient that made my skin irritated. If you have sensitive skin like me, this product may cause some irritation. 

When I was almost done with the product, it was a bit inconvenient to scrape out the left over moisurizer from the corners. 

The texture of the product was very nice, it’s thick and creamy.
This moisturizer would work well for dry skin!
The packaging is visually appealing and product lasts longer than you would think ( probably due to the thickness). 
It absorbs relatively fast.
