I have recently applied for Picky Squad but I'm not still a picky squad yet. Is there any qualifications to become a picky squad? I applied already on different free to try products offered by picky but I think you will only be choosen if your a picky squad already.

How to become a Picky Squad

Been using lately my giveaway price I won. And the essence i use was the I'm From Mugwort Essence. Somehow there's no irritation after I use it after cleansing tbh. But I'm still looking forward to it since I incorporate them for the first time now in my routine.

Can i use essences after cleansing instead of a toner?

Me as skincare enthusiasts I am always concern to wash my face in the morning and in the night so that the products and residue that build up for a whole day will be cleanse. But as I always do the routine as always I find that my eyes have been slight in pain and discomfort and my mom told me that I must not wash my face at night cause it will make my eyes affected in any eyes conditions like glaucoma and etc. And I'm afraid tho 🥲 so what did i do now my face that been applied from products like sunscreen throughout the day will be cleanse for tomorrow when I take a bath. So far I am not experiencing breakouts for not washing my face after the whole day although I only applied sunscreen no other than that. And i even have a thought that this might been the effects of using smartphone for a whole day and then washing your face and lacking of sleep that may ended my eyes tired. So, what  should I take concern the most my eyes or my face ? What are your thoughts about this are you experiencing what i experience also? What are your advice to me if there are any, I would love to hear 😊

The bad about this product is that it has strong junky smell that bothersome to smell. Contains essential oil like tea tree that are possible irritants especially for sensitive skin. And also the packaging is not travel friendly cause it leaks when press and without noticing it.

Has a transparent and slight viscosity texture. And has a strong distinct smell to it that are likely the same of dishwashing liquid. Contains betaine salicylate that are bha derivatives which is much gentler than salicylic acid to target blemsihes and acne-prone causing bacteria. 

A little goes a long way of this product. When contact to water it creates a minimal foam that can already cleanse your face and up to my liking as well since I have oily skin even it claims to be a gel cleanser. It refreshed and cleanse my face without a stripping feeling. However, though it added betaine salicylate but it is not as effective as I thought because its much gentler than the salicylic acid. It doesn't help to lessen or even treat my breakouts. But it do help with its calming and soothing properties. 

I've almost finish the product and all I can say is that it's only an average cleanser to me. The downside are it has a strong gunk scent it that can be bothersome to smell. It also contains tea tree oil to it that can be irritating to some skin. The packaging also is not good thing and not travel friendly for sure since it leaks that can waste a product sm without noticing it. Overall, this is just more than the ordinary cleanser, it's even true to its claims but I can't vouch the effectiveness to it to help breakouts prone skin like me. Still worthy to try!

The bad thing about this product is that it contains alcohol and fragrance that can be drying and irritating to some skin. And it also not suitable on my skin type cause it made my skin greasy and feels heavy on skin which I don't prefer on a sunscreen.

This hybrid sunscreen offers protection under the sun that is verified to have a maximum protection of SPF 50 PA+++. It contains Aloe Vera Leaf Extract that act as humectant to soothe and moisturize the skin. 

Has a distinct floral scent to it. With a soft and creamy texture. It also contains alcohol that can be drying and irritating to some. 

When applied to skin it glides smoothly to the skin. And it's so moisturizing also which I like. And do have a dewy finish after. However, this sunscreen made me greasy that I thought it would not. As for 2 hours after applying to my skin it start to grease. Also it is not a good idea to put a lot products then apply these sunscreen which can make it more greasy based on my experience which is not a good idea and sign for me. It's so suffocating to feel. It's not a good thing for reapplying too cause it's pill and draws unwanted whitecast that unexpected to see that can be bothersome. 

I give this another chance as applied it after my cleanser without anything more then this sunscreen but it do the same that it still made my face a grease ball. 

Overall, this is a decent sunscreen to have but I stopped using it now cause for those reasons. But I do believe that normal and dry skin peeps will love this sunscreen.

This blending powder is so versatile.  It can be mix in any skincare products such as toners, serums, moisturizer also in your cleansers etc. This can also be used as a spot treatment and no sebum powder as well. Amazing right! 

This powder have done wonders on my skin! I've experienced sudden breakout on my forehead and it really helps calms and soothes. The powder is really refine so it gentle and wouldn't irritate your skin and its fragrance-free as well. It also dissolved well with other products. 

Used it for about 3 weeks now mixing it on my cleanser during day and night also spot treating it. It gradually healed my pimple. I've never used blending powder before but this is so good. It really soothes and calms my breakouts. And what amazed me most is that it control my sebum production at bay during the day (as I used it with other products during my routine). 

Overall, this is a good product to have it's multi purpose and at the same time has a good shelf life of 12m that can be used 365 days around. The price is reasonable I guess cause it is good as it claims. This haven't cause irritations to me. I would highly recommend to all skin types but I recommend this most to oily-acne skin type person.

there no bad about this product only the rest of Licorice Line don't have PAO or shelf life after opening which I'm very concerned about.

Another fav from the set. Its duality is superior for it can be used already as both moisturizer and eye cream. It has a rich creamy texture and is fragrance-free too. It is my first-time using eye creams glad my under-eye area loves this product so much. It makes it moisturized and hydrated after. Although eye creams are unnecessary, I appreciate always its wonders and savior of my tired eyes.

It do made from high concentration of Bakuchiol from Hazelnut so better patch test before trying out to prevent irritations that might occur. Do mind as well that Hazelnut is a legumes so if your allergic to it please do avoid. It do have fragrance I think as I've smell so please do patch test before trying it out.

Thoughts + Experience 

This new serum from Benton is made on naturally derived Bakuchiol from Psoralea Corylifolia Fruit Extract (Hazelnut) that is rich in antioxidants. To provide nutrition, soothing, and elasticity to the skin. 

Have a caramel like texture and has a distinct earthy/peanut smell. Very lightweight and watery and do spread easily once applied and absorbs fast to the skin. 

Actually this is my very first time trying out Bakuchiol product. So I am very interested since it called as retinol substitute. It made me amaze as well that it contain niacinamide and adenosine for brightening and wrinkle care. I totally dislike the smell at first but I got use to it overtime. It glides smoothly to the skin without greasy or heavy feels. 

Have use it for a month for now in night time for further experience so I can notice results as well. And I can say that, it did help firm and make my skin elastic and bouncy. It do smoothen my fine lines as well contributed minimally in lightening of my acne marks. This product was so good and haven't cause breakouts nor irritations to my skin. 

Overall, this serum is so good btw. This can be a applied everyday during night and day as what you prefer. This might be a good product for those beginners that want natural way to firm and make youthful skin in a safest way before introducing retinol to their skin. Probably a must try and gonna suits every skin type but take note to those allergic to legumes for it comes in high concentration that can cause irritations. As always what works for me might not works on you. Vice-versa! And do patch test!
