Has anyone else found The Ordinary products to be ineffective for them? I feel like it was so popular for a while and I bought a few things from them trusting they were great because of all the praise that was sung on their behalf but I didn’t see any results. 😳

Hey guys! So I know everyone considers niacinimide a holy grail ingredient for your skin but has anyone else noticed a pattern of products with this ingredient having the opposite effect on them and making them have odd breakouts instead? I don’t think niacinimide helps faster cell turnover so is this an allergy to the ingredient?

NOTE since I’m reading it a lot in the comments:  I am not asking about concentrates with percentages of niacinimide on them or the label, I’m asking about regular products that have niacinimide somewhere in the ingredients list.

I’ve recently ordered the Beauty Pie SHS Cleansing Balm but I’m new to cleansing balms in general. I’m not so hot on the idea of double cleansing! Would I be able to use the cleansing balm as my only form of cleansing or do I absolutely have to follow up with another cleanser? What are the effects/benefits of either/or?

OMG this product is the bomb dot com. Its got great natural ingredients and leaves your face feeling lightly moisturized and glowy as it says. Great serum to keep your skin dewy and glowy!

Nothing too bad. Im one of the unfortunate few with a skin reaction to niacinamide, the holy grail ingredient that works so well for everyone else so my skin wasnt in love with that but if you are not allergic to that ingredient its great!

I recieved this item free from Influenster and Keys Soulcare in exchange for an honest review and it is so smooth. Doesnt leave yohr face feeling sticky like some moisturizers and skin even feels plump and smooth the next day.

It wasnt effective at all. I see no change in my skin after using this product and it has a tacky feel to it for a while after application.

The smell isnt so great though. At first it was fine, and this may just be my specific batch my bottle came from but it started getting a funky almost fishy smell to me. Its subtle enough Ill keep using it but maybe from the mushroom and moss!

I like the light gel feel it has and how used together with the saffron glow serum WLDKAT has they make your face have a light non oily looking glow. Ingredients are wonderful and it does a good job as a lighter summer moisturizer.
