Lately, I've been reflecting on the skincare journey I've had. At 38, my skin and I have been through a lot—trying products that promised the world and others that just...meh 😒. Now that I'm venturing into my 40s (K-beauty prep mode is ON 🔥), I've been wondering if the long routines are actually worth it, or if my skin could do just fine with a simplified approach.

Tips for Finding your Unique Skincare Approach

I have been in the skincare space for almost two months now and Mixsoon seems to be the most generous brand. The PR packages come with so many products. I hope to get it one day because I love their brand especially the bean cream

A gentle, hydrating exfoliator with Galactomyces ferment and enzymes to remove dead skin without irritation. Leaves skin smooth and bright, thanks to hyaluronic acid and Centella Asiatica. Best for sensitive or dry skin, though oily types may find it too mild. Light fragrance may bother some.

The application of the mask was very difficult 

I recently tried the Sungboon Editor Collagen Mask, and while the results were fantastic, the application process was a bit tricky. The mask was difficult to apply and didn’t sit perfectly on my skin, which made it hard to keep in place. I ended up leaving it on overnight for better results, and honestly, it worked wonders!

Despite the application issues, the next morning, my skin looked amazing. It felt deeply hydrated, plumper, and had this radiant glow that I usually only get after an intense skincare session. The collagen really worked its magic, making my skin feel firmer and smoother.

If you can deal with the tricky application or are okay with leaving it on longer (like overnight), this mask is worth the effort for the visible results. My skin felt like it had a luxurious, collagen-boosted spa treatment!
