Hey everybody! I was wondering what everyone's thoughts and experiences were concerning skin barrier damage. I've read a few articles about it, but I haven't heard any personal stories or experiences. Some of what I've read makes me think I may have damage to my skin barrier, but I'm not sure. So I'd like to hear some personal experiences please. 😊

What exactly does this mean? 

Have you experienced this issue? If so, how did you know that's what it was? 

And what products did you use concerning restoring the skin barrier? 

Did it work or no?

I was wondering what eye cream everyone uses and why do you use it? Like what makes it so good for you? 

I've been using the Clarins Total Eye Lift and I love it, but it's super expensive! I also love the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum, but it's expensive also. 

I'm running out of both and would like some suggestions... expensive or not. Doesn't matter. What is your go-to for eyes?

Have you ever found a product that balanced your skin or really helped control your sebum production? 

I'm about to make an order and looking to try some new products, but first, I wanted to know your thoughts!

My Oily Skin Friends; what are your Holy Grail products?

Nothing at all that I can say is bad about this product. 

This ampoules main ingredient is Centella Asiatica. It also has niacinamide, tea tree extract, fig, licorice and a whole plethora of other amazing ingredients. 
It is formulated to help soothe and calm the skin. 
It is a thin and somewhat watery texture. It has no scent and absorbs well. 
This ampoule worked amazingly for me. I used it on my chest one night after I had used an AHA exfoliant that left me irritated and broke out. I noticed immediate results as far as the irritation went. It soothed my skin and made it feel so much better. But the best part is the next day I woke up and my breakout was completely gone! 
This apmoule is definitely a holy grail for me! 

There is nothing bad about this product. 

This spot eraser Ampoule is packed full of fruit extracts from kumquat, orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, plum and more. It has a high amount of vitamin c and also niacinamide. 
The ampoule is clear, unscented and somewhat thin in texture. It absorbs well and has a sticky feel right at first, but it quickly disapates. 
This product wonders for me. I used with the Cica ampoule on a chest breakout that I had and it was gone the next day. It has also lightened up my dark spots in literally a matter of days. 
This product does everything it claims to do and it does it FAST! It also feels so refreshing and soothing. 

I REALLY wanted to like this product, but unfortunately this product did not do anything for me. I hate that I went through this unbelievable, unbearable heat for an hour each time I used this product hoping for results. 

I think that if it works for you then it might be worth going through all that, however I have multiple peels, exfoliators and products with these same ingredients that I can get greater results from without having to sacrifice myself for an entire hour after each use. 

I received this product for free from Picky in exchange for my honest review. 

I was dying to try this peel and so so happy that I got accepted for the reviews. I worked it into my skincare routine immediately. 

I washed my face and applied toner. I then put 5 drops on my face on my forehead, cheeks and chin and spread it around thoroughly. I expected to feel a tingle or something when I applied it, but I felt nothing. I had my watch right next to me to be absolutely sure that I didn't put it on for more than one minute. I washed it off. Everything was good....for about two more minutes. 
Then the heat came. Then the redness came. It didn't burn. It was just my face was extremely HOT! My ears turned red. This extreme heat lasted for about 45 minutes and then it was just gone. Just like that. 
I had no other irritation from using it. 

Now I expected that the next day or day after that my face would feel smoother, look brighter..just something, anything. But there was nothing. 
I continued to use this twice, sometimes 3 times a week with the same results....the heat, no irritation, and no changes in my skin neither bad nor good. 

I had a new exfoliating peel product with BHAs and AHAs in it so I decided to switch and see if it was the same, but it wasn't. I noticed immediate results with my other product. 



After maybe 30 minutes my face started to feel really hot and warm. I didn&#39;t even think to go check it because I was watching a movie with a space heater next to me. My husband even mentioned that I looked &quot;tan&quot; but again I still thought nothing of it. Fast forward a few hours, I took a shower, washed my face and  when I got out that&#39;s when I noticed my face was super red and so hot that it almost kinda hurt. I sprayed a cooling essence on my face and it went away rather quickly. I&#39;m not sure what it was that caused the redness in this product. However they certainly took volcanic water to a whole other level with my experience! 🤭🤣

I received this product as a sample in the mail and I was so excited to try it out. I used it the very first night that I got it after washing my face like I normally do. It applied well. It&#39;s a clear, thin, not quite gel like fluid. It spread evenly on my face with ease and absorbed in a timely manner. It didn&#39;t leave any sticky residue and felt good when I applied it.

I don&#39;t think that this product has done enough for me to be able to recommend it. I&#39;ve been using it for two months And don&#39;t really see any benefits from it.

This was my first time using a serum. At first I thought I liked iit. I put it on after cleaning my face with the Riversol cleanser. It&#39;s very thin and it spreads far. Such a tiny little bit goes such a long way. It doesn&#39;t leave any kind of residue. It is almost a watery feeling. It feels fresh on my skin.
