Happy Monday skincare lovers! Now that we’re entering cooler months, I want to ask for everyone’s favorite thick moisturizers. Let’s share our hidden gems so that we all can discover something new to try and love this winter. Share your underrated and lesser known holy grails, I’ll start with mine. 

The Cell Fusion C calming down cream has been my HG for almost a year now. I use it year round but in warm weather only at night. It’s thick without the stickiness or oiliness and has a brightening effect and dewy finish. It contains all the right ingredients for my acne prone skin and it’s the ONLY moisturizer that my aesthetician approved for my skin because it doesn’t clog pores not break me out. It applies like a dream and has a nice scent, nothing overpowering. 

I didn’t receive any incentive for this, I really wish I did because it costs $48 per bottle but I can’t go without it now. I try to stock up during sales.

Numbuzin No.5 Vitamin concentrated serum - my experience with it has been positive so far. First off, the ingredient list impressed me from the start: lots of goodies and none of the bad stuff. My favorites are tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, niacinamide and panthenol among them. 

As for the texture, it’s slightly milky in appearance but absorbs into my combo skin within seconds. It layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen and is hydrating which is welcome with the coming of winter. 

I’ve only had the chance to try it for a week so I can’t speak for the brightening/ anti blemish properties but I’ll keep using it and update you in the future. 

Nothing bad at all, wish I’d discovered it sooner.

This sun essence was love at first sight for me. It checks all the boxes for what a good sun product should be: lightweight, non sticky, no white cast, clean ingredients and fragrance free. It applies beautifully and didn’t break out my acne prone combination skin. The ingredients list is full of goodies such as niacinamide, centella asiatica, hyaluronic acid, and many botanical extracts. I will be using this sun essence and recommending it to my friends and family. 

I have nothing bad to say about it, it didn’t even break out my acne prone skin. 

I received this product for free from Picky and DEWYTREE in exchange for my honest review. This is my first milk cleanser but definitely won’t be the last. It is clean, so light and pleasant to use, has a faint scent and cleanses beautifully. At night I use it as the first step of double cleansing, followed by a foam cleanser. In the morning I only use this by itself. My skin doesn’t feel tight or dry afterwards. I normally wear sunscreen and/or foundation, and it is strong enough to remove both. I simply love the DEWYTREE Hi Amino all cleansing milk

It has silicones but manufacturers are only allowed to use it while searching for a safer alternative. I hope they will soon reformulate the product without the silicones.

This sunscreen was a favorite instantly for several reasons: 

• first, it comes in a recycled package printed with soy ink. 
• it is dermatologist tested and is suitable for sensitive skin as well as for kids
• it is mineral, which is the only type of sunscreen I use for skin health and acne prevention. 
• unlike many other mineral/physical sunscreens, this one doesn’t leave a white cast or sticky residue. It applies evenly and beautifully and leaves the skin toned and glowy. 
• it lives up to the “silky & light” application written on the package.

Nothing bad, I’m singing it’s praises 

This lip tint is my new obsession 😍It applies evenly and smoothly; has a very nice shine but isn’t sticky. The texture is neither too thick nor too thin, it’s very moisturizing and most importantly the color is bomb. I didn’t have to reapply throughout the work day because after the shine settled down, my lips were left tinted.
