Does anyone else get burning when applying products like retinol eye cream or sunscreens. Do you have any tips to avoid this? I try leaving plenty of space and not go too close to the eye but I still experience some burn 🤔

Burning eyes?

I have sensitive and dry skin. Growing up I had rosacea and skin conditions so I would always use prescribed creams which I think eventually ended up thinning my skin barrier. I no longer use these products.
Now when using products almost all of them burn and I struggle to find something that doesn’t irritate my skin. Most often I struggle through the pain and sometimes products will turn out to be amazing once the initial sensations fade away.
I would like advice on how to rebuild a strong skin barrier and also ingredients to stay away from. 
I have heard there are apps that can tell you if a products contains harmful ingredients so if you have any app recommendation that would also be useful!

How to rebuild skin barrier?

Hi I love trying new K beauty toner but recently I have noticed that I am getting small textured bumps especially around my chin area. 
I am looking for something to help with the texture and hopefully not be too harsh with exfoliation as I have sensitive (combo-dry) skin. 
I would love to know what your using and what ingredients I should be looking out for as I have seen things like the Needly pads and also the mediheel Madecassoside ones but I’m really not sure if these are the one!

I started using eye cream around a month ago and saw a few pop up on my eye-lids. I have since excluded eye cream from my routine but I am still curious about why this happens and if there is any way to prevent it?

✨ Unleshia Glitterpedia Eyeshadow Palette✨

Packaging:
I cannot describe how beautiful and thought out the packaging if for this products. The box that the eye shadow palette comes in opens like a book and shows the shades written down in silver accent colours. The actual palette itself is also beautiful it simply has the logo and each eyeshadow shade in a 3x3 format which I prefer over longer or larger palette sizes. The fact that’s the product has a transparent cap means that I can see if I want to use the shades in the palette without opening it first. The shine of the silver rim in is also a bonus. The product feels sturdy and secure. 

Product:
The eyeshadows come in 9 shades 2 light and dark base colours with the rest being a glitter explosion. I found that the gold shade has the most sparkles. The shades in the palette go very well together to create a simple or gradient  eyeshadow look. There isn’t much or any fallout that I have noticed when using this product and it works for me on a daily basis.

Overall:
I really like this product and would recommend it for anyone looking to spice up their eye look with some shimmer. It’s easy to carry around and I enjoy using the product.

The products:
🧴Air Fit UV Defence Sun Cream
This products contains key ingredients of Centella. It initially seemed to have a green tinge but disappeared on the skin immediately with no white cast or stinging around the eyes. The texture is very creamy but absorbs into the skin without and stickiness has a slight minty scent but this didn’t cause issues for me. Adding this product to my daily sunscreen and would repurchase.

🐚 Snail Bee High Content Essence
This product contains key ingredients of snail secretions and bee venom.
This essence has a gel texture which becomes very watery and light and absorbed into my skin straight away. No scent but made my skin feel very smooth. 

🐝 Snail Bee High Content Toner
Has a low pH to combat bacteria. Slightly sticky at first but leaves a slight oily feel/Sheen. My least favourite out of all three products but even then it’s still a really good toner.

I was kindly gifted isntrees sunscreen line to try out. 
🧅 The first one is the onion newpair sunscreen, which has been more viral online for its purple colour and surprising ingredient onion. 
🗝️ It contains Niacinamide, glycerin, adenosine, Allantoin, panthenol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract- this is a flower that comes from Asia, and is known for its anti-bacterial and anti-acne properties. The star ingredient in the sunscreen is the allium cepa (onion) Bulb extract at 5%. This ingredient is meant to help out with scarring and stimulating regrowth of skin cells to reduce acne.

My experience using these sunscreens has been amazing. I love how they are each different to give you lots of choice. Like on days when I feel less hydrated I can opt for the hyaluronic acid or on days where I want to look a bit more presentable I can go for the yam root. I must also add that I’m impressed that they are all alcohol, fragrance and essential oil free. This means that I can use them without having to worry about reactions or break outs. 
A special mention for the tone up sunscreen as a fair skinned person. This is the best tone up suncream I have ever used. It does not leave you looking like you’ve just pressed your face in powder. If you do have flaky patches it will extenuate them however, it does brighten the skin and reduce redness and not make you look like a ghost like I have experienced with other sunscreens in the past.
My favourite suncream, out of all three has to be the new pair version, as I love the idea of being able to hear my skin whilst also protecting it from the Sun.

I will continue to use these as they feel lighter than other sunscreens. I will keep the yam root one with me on the go as it replaces the need to base makeup. I would love to see a sunstick version of the onion newpair soon!

🍠 The last sunscreen in the line is the yam root milk tone up suncream. This is actually a mineral sunscreen that offers a creamy tinted alternative to the other sunscreens, it claims to help strengthen the skin barrier and brighten the complexion. 
🗝️ The sunscreen contains panthenol, niacinamide, oatmeal, extract, rice, extract, adenosine.

My experience using these sunscreens has been amazing. I love how they are each different to give you lots of choice. For me this is a sturdy product that does what its meant to, however there are other toners out there which I might prefer to use for their specific purpose and the areas it will target. 
I am not quite sure if I woild repurchase this product at this moment in time, especially since the quantity seems to last well.

✨Nacific Real Floral Rose Toner✨

📍Packaging
I really love the packaging of this product. You can see the petals inside of a blurred glass-like bottle. The product easy to use and understand. It feels sturdy and seems like good quality packaging.

On first impressions the product smells floral and leaves a cooling feeling once applied. 

🔥Key ingredients include: Rosewater, Centella Asiatica and Hyaluronic Acid. These ingredients are good for deep hydration and have anti-inflammatory properties.
Personally I experienced an introductory period to the product for my sensitive skin to adjust but this was short and I experienced minimal burning.

📍Outcome
This product is great for anyone looking for a reliable toner that has all the properties of Rosewater and hydrates the skin. I would recommend this for someone who also does not have any particular aim for their toner.
