I received these products for free from Picky and Ruruberry in exchange for my honest review. 
 
[ Ruruberry Gentle Fresh Cleansing Gel ] 
✨ Notable ingredients: Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, Allntoin, Bisabolol, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract
✨ Texture: a slightly thick gel texture that’s not super runny. 
✨ Scent: has a slight scent to it, nothing strong or overpowering. It is a fragrance free product. 

My first impression was that this is a really nice and gentle cleanser just like it’s name suggest. It feels really nice on my skin and has a nice and soft lathering feeling when applied onto skin. Post cleansing my skin didn’t feel “squeaky” clean or have that tight feeling. In fact, my skin felt cleansed and hydrated 💧this also did not sting my skin although I know most cleansers rarely do that but I just wanted to point that out. The second ingredient is disodium cocoyl glutamate which is well suited for cleansing sensitive skin as it is a mild surfactant. It is produced from vegetable oils and is readily biodegradable. 

However, for a cleanser it is a pretty tiny volume at 50ml. I wish they would make it a bigger volume. But if you’re into trying a lot of cleansers at once and don’t mind the price then I would say go for it.

Would I repurchase: maybe. If they made a bigger volume.

[Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + Zinc]
✨ Notable ingredients: Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, Zinc PCA, Chondrus Crispus 
✨ Texture: slightly thick gel texture. Not sticky or greasy. Absorbs nicely into skin. 
✨ Scent: has a slight scent to it but nothing too strong or chemical-ish. Very faint. Not a bad thing. This is a fragrance free serum.

My first impression was pretty much WOW 😍 I’ve had a few Niacinamide serums over the years and I was excited to try this out and when I say I’ve found my favourite, I really have. This has such a nice feel on the skin and did not break me out once despite the high percentage. I used this when my skin was breaking out and it literally healed my skin. Did not sting my skin even when some areas where compromised and irritated. I wish for everyone to try this product.

I’ve a question. Are you guys okay with alcohol (ethanol, SD alcohol, or alcohol denat) in your skincare products? Do you find that it causes sensitivity to your skin or you don’t mind it at all. Or do you prefer to completely avoid it all costs?

❌ its in a 100ml glass bottle. Really heavy. So its not very travel friendly.

The prettiest ampoule I have in my stash currently. 

✨ Notable ingredients: niacinamide, tranexamic acid, centella asiatica extract, 3-O- ethyl ascorbic acid, lactobacillus ferment, madewhite™️ 

✨ This ampoule has a runny texture with tiny little capsules that contain MadeWhite™️ for brightening, anti-irritation & hydration benefits. 

✨ Fragrance free, although it does have a slight baby powder like scent which I don’t really like but it doesn’t linger on the skin. 

✨ I use this along with the toner and I must say, I’m impressed at the brightening and soothing effect it had on my skin. I was breaking out and had a few pretty dark scars from it and this two really helped fade the scars. No lie. I’m also really thankful it didn’t break me out at all. 

✨ In conclusion, this ampoule has become one of my favourite products for brightening. If you’re not sensitive to centella, get yourself one of these.

Not necessarily a bad thing, but if you are on a budget the price might be a downside of this sunscreen. Nothing else other than that.

Its a multi functional suncare product that claims to be brightening, anti wrinkle and have a sun protection of spf50+ pa++++ 
I love this sunscreen so much. I have been looking for a suncreen that is sensitive skin friendly as well as has a pretty good spf rating. And luckily I found this one.

I live in a pretty hot and humid tropical climate and this sunscreen does not make me feel oilier or anything. However, when I first applied it I noticed theres like a tingling sensation on my skin? But nothing super bad where it made me red and itchy or what. It goes away after a few seconds. But nothing super serious. Also, if you have compromised skin, word of caution that you might feel little bit of tingling sensation. I didnt mind it as my skin didnt have any bad reaction towards it. I didnt experience any drying after application or reapplication.

⚡️ Final verdict: I love this sunscreen, I literally got my friend and S/O to try this out and they both love it. And both have dry sensitive skin. So I would say that I think everyone will benefit from this sunscreen but remember to always patch test first. And YMMV.

✨𝑩𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒏 𝑩𝑯𝑨 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕 𝒁𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎✨

As the last step, I use this as my spot treatment on areas where I have acne scars and blemishes. The texture is a soft smooth cream that sinks beautifully into my skin without without any greasy feeling after. It does have a scent that’s similar to the serum but it goes away after a while. After 3 weeks of usage, it did help to lessen my acne scars a bit. I didn’t react negatively to this spot treatment and have been loving it so far. It does contain fragrance so I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re sensitive to it.

⚡️Final verdict: if you’re looking for a product that helps lighten and fade scars and you’re also not sensitive to fragrance I would recommend this spot treatment. If you are sensitive but want to try this, remember to patch test first. 

*UPDATE: Been using for a month now and my scars have faded by alot (barely visible now) and I’m happy to say that the fragrance in here didn’t bother my skin. 

❌  The volume of it - 60ml is little compared to other moisturizers. Esp if used on a daily basis. Plus its a bit pricey. 
❌  Contains 𝑩𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒕 𝑶𝒊𝒍 - an essential oil from the fruit of an orange. I am sensitive to perfumes and EO and that was probably what broke me out.
❌ Not hydrating enough - despite the great ingredients for skin barrier, my oily dehydrated skin did not benefit from this. Almost feels a little “drying” after a while. 
❌ Layering - it feels weird when I try to layer on more.

This is a gel cream moisturizer that is said to be for those who are looking for sensitive skin protection, soothes skin and supplies moisture, brightening and wrinkle care as well as strengthens skin and minimizes skin stress. 

This is a light moisturizing gel cream that can help calm sensitive skin with centella asiatica and tea tree leaf water. When I was looking for a moisturizer for my oily and sensitive skin, this was one of the many raved about products on the market. I read through the ingredients and was pretty happy that it contained great ingredients for skin barrier relief.

As I said before that I was looking for a product for my skin type and tried this one out. For about a week or so my skin felt amazing and soft and supple. However, two weeks after using this my skin began breaking out in whiteheads and tiny red bumps. Not only that, my skin was a little bit more oily than usual. I thought it was purging and continued using for a whole month and my skin did not improve at all. I checked other factors that could contribute to my breakouts but none came up. So, I stopped using and tried something else and my skin healed. Found out later that I was allergic to a pretty sensitizing ingredient which is 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙩 𝙊𝙞𝙡. 

⚡️Final verdict: if you’re looking for a moisturizer that has soothing and calming ingredients but your skin isnt sensitive at all, you may try this one out. Unfortunately, my skin did not like this at all. 
⚡️Would I repurchase: NO

🔶Best lip balm I’ve used. My lips are pretty sensitive and I’ve tried a lot of lipbalms that people rave about, even the cult favourites and unfortunately my lips never liked them.

🔶Until I bought this lipbalm to try it out and have been a fan ever since. It really does hydrate and moisturizes my lips and relieves it from cracking and lines. Sometimes when I dont drink enough water my lips get pretty dry and I would reach out for this and within an hour my lips would be soft again. 

🔶Makes your lips so soft and plump which is ideal when I use lipsticks so it doesn’t look crusty. Coz bestiess we dont want crusty lips okay. 💋 Also this lipbalm has SPF which is great! 

🔶Another great thing about this is that price is cheap and you can easily find this in drugstores.
