So I recently tried the Benton Green Tea Toner and it’s now nearing its end! It’s good and I saw a difference on my skin but I want to try other toners hehe. I am still leaning on a hydrating toner or maybe exfoliating but can still be used EVERYDAY. 

What do you think of this one from Skin1004? Do you have better recommendations?

My skin type: Oily/Sensitive
Concerns: Hyperpigmentation, redness, dull-looking skin, visible pores.

Running out of toner!

I want to have a toner in my routine that is hydrating and soothing

I have a sensitive oily skin and pimple marks.
I recently discovered that my face is actually very reactant to fragrance
I also live in a very tropical country (mostly dry season)

My current routine is cleanser, niacinamide, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I feel like my skin is in need of extra hydration but i dont want to put on another moisturizer so im leaning towards a toner.

What do you recommend?

So I dm Apotheke about how great would it be if they release a larger size of their 5% niacinamide, and apparently it can be possible if demands are high. So to anyone who loves their 5% variant, please dm them and request for a larger size!!

Hello! It’s been a while since I used this app bcs I thought I already found the BEST but lately I’ve been having problems again ::((

I’ve been using this toner from Benton for almost a year now (3 repurchases!!) It WAS GREAT. I’ve built up the tolerance to my skin and I’ve been using it daily. It is moisturizing as well as targets my acne problem but as time passes by it feels like its losing its effect on my skin. I’ve been having sebaceous filaments again and enlarge pores even though I don’t have any changes on my routine.  

That is why I want to ask for help, I’m looking for a toner that is better and probably has higher percentage of BHA. This benton has (0.5%). Thank you!! 

My skintype is oily sensitive and acne-prone.

HELP ME FIND A BHA TONER

Hi its me again loool im sorry for always asking but i really am not an impulse buyer when it comes to skincare and this app has been a great help for me.

So I have been looking for a new toner and I also like to try chemical exfoliation. What do you think of this product? 

I have no experience in any actives or chemical exfoliants. I have read that this product has 0.5% salicylic acid, is it ok for a first time user?  

Do you think I can use this everyday if my skin adjusts to it?

I have oily sensitive skin and also acne-prone. My concerns are hyperpigmentation, visible pores, dull skin, oil-control. 

I also have 5% naicinamide on my current routine, will it be alright to use it together?

BENTON ALOE BHA TONER

STRIPPING gawd i thought this was good for me but turns out not huhu

I used this back when i know nothing about skincare. At first, i saw a really great difference on my skin, its glowy and there are less pimples but i do notice redness. I really thought its just my skin being my skin. I really know nothing about skincare the time im using this (which is pretty long huhu) I have really oily skin so i was glad when i use this, but i realized its actually not good at all. I have a very sensitive skin now because of using this for almost a year. I really didnt know this is the reason for my redness and tight face huhu

I don’t know if its because its on the lower percentage but it didn’t really brighten my skin, it does help with my acne so I’m gonna continue using this.
⭕️ I hope the brand also release a larger bottle for this specific variant just like the 10% one.
⭕️ Definitely not for someone who already used a higher percentage of niacinamide.

Texture ✨: runny gel-like consistency that transform to a watery liquid when spread
Smell 🌱: it has a light smell of aloe
Absorption 🌝: it can be easily absorbed to skin just seconds of patting&#47;spreading

I opted for the Niacinamide 5% because this is my first time using a pure niacinamide and i also have sensitive skin. I didn’t expect too much brightening effect with it because it is on the lower percentage, but it does help a bit to lighten or atleast calm the spots. I used 2 pumps for my whole face day and night, first 2 weeks w&#47;o a toner.
⭐️The best thing I experienced with this product is it lessen the oiliness of my skin. 
⭐️⭐️I also noticed that I didn’t get any new acne since i used this, aside from the ones caused by my period but those were also calmed?&#47;dried? with the help of this product.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Good for beginners like me! Or with sensitive skin! It didn’t irritate my skin at all.

⭕️ I think its better for oily skin type because it might not give the full hydration that dry skin types need.

Started using this April 21 and its May 19 now. I have sensitive oily and acne-prone skin. 

Texture💦: Very watery and light
Smell🍃: It doesn’t have any strong smell, almost nothing at all but there are hints of green tea smell
Absorption🌝: Fast absorption just like any other watery products. 

I use 2 layers for am and 4 layers on pm. I used this when I have active pimples and it helps in soothing them, even making it faster for healing. At first use, I experienced some sting but after maybe 2 use it disappears, now it feels just like putting water on my skin. I noticed that the oiliness of my skin was lessened and my pimples don’t last long. I am using a 5% concentrate of niacinamide with this and I can totally see that it helps in reducing the redness of my face all the while aiding the niacin on my hyperpigmentation. 

🌟: The consistency and key ingredient is good for oily skin, really helps in controlling it.
🌟🌟: The hydration is so-so. It is hydrating in multiple layers but I do not see this as a key hydration on a routine.
🌟🌟🌟: Helps in brightening the overall complexion of my skin. (note that i also have niacinamide in my routine)
🌟🌟🌟🌟: Best for acne-prone. The green tea definitely soothes the pimples, helps in faster healing, and not irritant on the skin.

It doesnt have anything WOW effect, just a normal mist with a little hydration. The spray could be better.

Im not sure if this is the same thing since the packaging is different but this one is a good mist. I used this to hydrate then set my makeup. It a great product.

It’s a little stripping if used regularly.

I used this back when I know nothing about skincare. This is actually a good cleanser, no TOO stripping and it foams so great.
