Hello,

Often I see comments from people having issues with spf due to itching/stinging etc and having a hard time finding something suitable or even giving up spf altogether. If alcohol is the issue for you then keep reading!

It&#39;s on the pricey side. I would not recommend using this on a damaged skin barrier as it contains BHA

The Fig Boosting Essence comes in a glass bottle and doesn’t have a scent. This essence is slightly viscous but still watery. It contains fig extract which helps to prevent water loss from the skin and calms redness. It’s also an antioxidant. It’s a nice hydrating essence with the bonus of betaine salicylate for exfoliation. Usually, I find Korean BHA exfoliants too gentle to notice a difference but this essence surprised me. It leaves my face feeling smoother. From the name you wouldn’t think this is an exfoliating essence so it’s something to keep in mind if you have damaged your skin barrier.

This lip sleeping mask is thicker than the ceramide one and has a typical lip sleeping mask consistency. It has a gooey, glossy texture. It feels thicker and more occlusive on the lips and so I prefer this one to the ceramide one. I find I wake up with product still on my lips and my lips soft and hydrated. I also like to use this one as a lip balm. This is my favourite product in the cosrx lip range.

Nice toner to use 👍 

It&#39;s a watery texture and contains niacinamide. Good for oily skin and for layering.

It feels slightly thick on the skin and takes time to sink in. I think dry skin types would like this more. Oily skin types like myself would prefer using this at night or during times where the skin is dehydrated.

This product contains 10% niacinamide and is packed with antioxidants! It has a watery texture. The packaging is nice, it’s unique to other products in my collection. I haven’t used it long enough to notice a difference, however niacinamide is in so many products anyway so I may be at my limit with niacinamide anyway 😅 This is definitely hydrating. I am curious about the other products from elmt.

Nothing so far, but it can be pricey for some people

This serum has a white gel-like texture which is quite elastic, it reminds me of snail mucin products. It is slightly thick so I like to pat this serum in. Once absorbed, it leaves a soft finish on the skin. This serum is great to apply after the essence, together they make my skin feel hydrated and nourished. This serum is also soothing, brightening and great for strengthening the skin barrier.
