Hello everyone! Does anyone know of a cleansing gel that’s oil based like a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil? I want something with a gel feel and that can remove sunscreen/makeup. I’m using the B. Lab Cica Cleansing Oil Balm and while it’s a fine cleansing balm, I find it to be quite heavy like a cream balm. Sorry if my description doesn’t make sense, it’s hard to describe what I’m trying to convey. I’m thinking of trying the Isntree Chestnut LHA Jelly Cleansing Oil. If anyone understands what I mean and has a suggestion, please let me know! If not, sorry for the confusion! Thank you in advance.

Cleansing Gel?

Hello all! As you probably are aware, the gift giving season is almost among us. For the holidays, I wanted to gift my grandmother a skincare set. She’s very simple, just wants a cleanser, exfoliater, and moisturizer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what skincare set I can buy her? The ones I’ve researched usually have a couple more products (serums, eye creams) than what I think she’ll use. If not, I may buy her some individual products and gift them together so she can use them. Thank you in advance :)

Hi everyone! I’ve noticed that some brands are starting to sell sunscreens with applicators attached to them for easy application. Specifically, I’ve seen hue_calm release their birch aqua ampoule sun cream and make p:rem released their cicapro soothing sun essence. Does anyone know any other brands selling products like this? I’ve heard the make p:rem one’s formula isn’t that great, and I can’t find the hue_calm online to purchase. I can’t find the products on Picky, but I can try to attach some photos from the brands’ instagrams if I’m allowed lol. Thank you to those who respond.

New Form of Sunscreen Application (?)

Hello all! I’ve been looking at the AHC sun sticks to purchase. They have so many different sun sticks, but I find it hard to find a clear answer as to what makes each of them different. I know the light turquoise one is matte, the darker blue one is dewy, and the lighter blue one and the white one are waterproof. I’m not sure what makes the red one different. Would anyone happen to know?

Does anyone know the difference between the AHC sun sticks?

It ended up pilling when I tried to rub it in. I’ve tried using a combination of different products under the lotion, as well as waiting at least 5-10 minutes before applying the lotion. Maybe I had too many layers on underneath (around 3-4 different products), but the lotion often pilled when rubbing it in.

It had a cooling sensation that helped calm my skin down. Especially nice for those with rosacea.

I read that it was supposed to help with wrinkles on the label. It didn’t really help my wrinkles, but it’s a nice moisturizing lotion. On the pricer end of non-luxury lotions.

Nice smell, no pilling when applying. Little needed to cover face. Nice texture, more of a heavier cream.

The tone up is probably too strong for deeper skin tones. Will most likely leave a white cast. At the end of the day, it felt like all my oils accumulated on top of the sunscreen. It’s weird, but I had like an oily film on my face after 12 hours.

It held my oily skin down. Not much shine after application. It has a tone up effect that I used in place of foundation. The tone up effect lasts all day, even through exercising. It left my face feeling soft once applied.

It wasn’t for my oily skin. It leaves like an oily finish that feels oily and looks shiny, but it would cover up dry patches to look less flakey.

Bought it because it wasn’t supposed to make makeup once applied on top of it. If you press lightly, your makeup should be fine. No scent.

It didn’t really have any effect on my blackheads, something I thought it would do given its name.
