I’ve recently been introduced to Volufiline—a patented skincare ingredient that contains sarsasapogenin, which is derived from Anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract. It’s designed to enhance fat cell production, potentially increasing volume. Awesome! I could definitely use some extra volume.

That said, I haven’t been using it long enough to report any results yet, but it’s easy to apply, and I haven’t experienced any negative reactions so far. I plan to use it for at least three months before assessing my results.

I encourage you to research this ingredient and decide if it’s something you want to try. For me, it’s worth a shot, and I’ll order more when I run out.


I have oily sensitive skin and although it didn’t cause any irritation or build up in my pores. For the price it didn’t do anything amazing either. My 10 dollar oil cleanser did a lil better job to take off my waterproof mascara. Just meh all together.

I decided to pick this up after the original shot up in price exponentially, and I won’t be switching back. While the original is just about perfect, this seems to do an even better job of melting my makeup off and getting rid of impurities. It calms my skin down really nicely, too. Also, I love the green smell. This and the Rice Water Bright foaming cleanser from The Face Shop, is a perfect double-cleansing duo.

Love this oil - it is silky and smells like a day at the spa. Removes make-up well and my skin is left feeling silky and moisturized rather than dry. This will be a regular order for me. Tip: always shake bottle before using - I find the oil feels a little thicker when I shake the bottle before use
