@ my fellow Canadians, I was recently reminded about Benton customs fees by a discussion post and decided to go back through my credit card billing to confirm the refund. DHL had confirmed to me at the time that they would be refunding me. Well, it’s been a while and my records show no refund. So, did anyone ACTUALLY get a refund? I’m planning on calling DHL tomorrow. I cannot explain how much I hate DHL with every fibre of my being. They are HORRIBLE every time I deal with them.

EDIT: I called DHL and they were like “hmm I can see it was confirmed but we never processed it. I’ll send an email to the refunds team.” It’s so goddamn stupid. I should not have to chase them up on a refund only occurred because THEY messed up the duties calculation. It’s been a whole MONTH since they promised me my refund. How the hell did they just apparently leave my refund in the void? I was probably never going to get it if I hadn’t thought to check up on it. Worst shipping company ever.

No complaints outside of the fact that it looked deceiving! If you’re looking for a heavy night cream, this isn’t it.

The cream is a white, opaque cream that appears pretty thick. I was expecting this to be a thick winter cream but I found this to be surprisingly light! It feels a little more substantive than water creams or gel moisturizers but it is still very light. I certainly prefer this level of thickness since I have an oily t-zone to begin with. I don't need a super thick cream.

As far as I can tell, this has no scent. As always, l love I'm From's rustic packaging and design for this!
Definitely a pretty product.

I wish they would make the opening smaller. You only need the tiniest amount and I always squeeze out too much. A smaller size at a cheaper price would be nice too. There’s no way to finish this before expiration.

This is a cult classic and I totally get why. The pigment on this is incredible and once it dries down, it is not going to budge. I love that Dawn is a true orange and it looks so gorgeous sheered out on the cheeks. For a non-drugstore liquid blush, this is also pretty decently priced.

I did notice that this had a bit of a cheap lip balm/gloss taste but it’s not super strong.

This lip mask is super glossy and super hydrating. I love how it wasn’t super stick though and stayed on well through me eating and drinking. This little pot also holds a ton and will probably last me like two years. This mask is super creamy and can be hardened for a more balmy texture by putting it in the fridge.

The orange colour of this was also super fun and cute.

I would like one darker shade to use as an eyeliner.

This palette lived up to all the hype for me. The glitters were not too chunky or gritty. The mattes were pigmented. You can make so many pretty purple looks with this.

Genuinely have nothing bad to say about this one.

This stuff glides over my face super smoothly and doesn’t seem to smudge my makeup. I always do a full face of makeup so this did extremely well - no smudging of foundation or blush. 

I also love the packaging. The twisting thing at the bottom is kind of like a deodorant twister - super easy to extend and retract. The green colour is also super cute.
