What’s your favourite foundation with a dewy, luminous finish? I really love Armani’s Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Foundation but it’s pretty pricey, I’m curious about what other good options there are!

I’m so excited about this one! I haven’t been enjoying my oil cleanser too much so I’ve been wanting to try replacing it with a cleansing balm. Did you win this one too? Or have you been enjoying any other cleansing balms lately?

I’m really not a big fan of fragrances in my skincare, but my face hasn’t reacted to it at all. Similarly, I was a little concerned to see that alcohol is pretty high on the ingredient list. My face hasn’t had any issues but those with more sensitive skin might want to keep these ingredients in mind. 

I immediately fell in love with this adorable polar bear packaging! I’ve been keeping these eye sticks in the fridge overnight to make them extra cold, and I really recommend doing that. In the morning, the first thing I do is take one out of the fridge and apply it all around my eyes; it’s the perfect way to wake myself up! It feels so cooling and refreshing, and it glides on like silk. I felt my eye area immediately after using it and I noticed that it doesn’t leave behind any residue. A great thing about them is that you can put them on over makeup too, so I’m able to throw one in my purse and use it if my eyes start feeling dry or tired throughout the day. The stick means you don’t need to bring cotton pads or use your fingers! This blue version of their eye sticks has a pleasant, sweet smell. Overall, this is a nice solution for tired, puffy eyes.

Like most long-lasting lip stains, I find this can dry out the lips. I recommend exfoliating your lips before applying this product so that your lips remain soft and smooth! 

This is a really pretty rosy pink colour! The lip tint itself is matte and feels very powdery on the lips. The applicator is thin and soft, making it easy to apply. The colour is long-lasting; I applied in the morning and went about my day without reapplying. At the end of the day, even after food and drinks, I still had rosy pink lips. 

I haven’t experienced anything bad with this product. 

I originally received this toner as a sample freebie alongside the serum prize, but I’ve been religiously using both products these past couple of months so I decided I’d better review the toner too! This Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner is my go-to toner because of how soothing it is on my skin; it has a low PH of 5.5 which makes it super gentle. I’ve recently started trying out the K-Beauty Toner Trick wherein I apply at least three layers of this toner, one right after the other. The idea behind this is your skin is able to absorb more than it normally could, giving you super hydrated skin without having to use a heavy moisturizer. I love how it feels! 

I experience nothing bad with this product.

When this body scrub describes itself as moisturizing, it really means it. I usually find with exfoliation that I have to take care to quickly follow with a heavily moisturizing product afterwords to combat the dryness exfoliating gives me. That’s not the case for this body scrub. I rub it all over my body, and when it washes off my skin feels soft and silky as though I’ve used a moisturizing lotion on it. the main exfoliant in these ingredients is gluconolactone, which is a PHA; PHAs still help dissolve dead skin cells but have been proven to be more gentle and better suited for sensitive skin than BHA and AHAs due to their larger structure preventing them from penetrating too deep inside the skin. This body scrub does not feel irritating or abrasive on my skin in any way. The PHA gently does its job at the same time as the prebiotic oat is nourishing and soothing my skin. I also like that it doesn’t have alcohol, which can dry my skin out, and it doesn’t have any ingredients that can trigger fungal acne. 

The texture when I pour it is thick and sticky, but don’t worry, it does not feel sticky whatsoever once you rinse it off. It just feels like baby-soft skin. This is how I use it in my shower routine: wash with body soap, use this exfoliation, and then I shave. My favourite way to use this scrub is to use it to prime my legs before shaving, and I highly recommend you do the same if you also shave your legs. Exfoliating before shaving prevents in-grown hairs and razor bumps. When I remove all the dead skin and trapped debris and oil with the scrub, it leaves a smoother surface for the razor to effortlessly glide over.  I don’t suffer from in-grown hairs or the “strawberry skin” look when I do it this way, so I really love using scrub. I use it about three times a week and my body has never felt softer and happier. This shade of red reminds me of poppy flowers! It feels like lip gloss when I’m applying it to my lips, but without the stickiness. It has a really pretty shine to it. I find that after a few hours the shiny glossiness has faded away, but I do retain a nice reddened look that feels like a “your lips but better” matte  shade for the rest of the day. The applicator is soft and thin, making it easy to apply, and it’s quite moisturizing on the lips. I received this product for free from Picky in exchange for my honest review.
