I was excited to receive this duo of creams and was instantly drawn by the contrast in packaging! The sleek, mystique of the Idebenone Blackberry Intense Cream & calm minimalism of the Sensitive Soothing Gel Cream.

The Intense Cream is a multi-functional cream formulated with 63% Blackberry Complex and Idebenone (500ppm) which both have powerful antioxidant properties, restoring youthful looking skin. Additionally there are five kinds of ceramides and phytosphingosine to create strong moisture barrier and prevent natural water loss (this cream was super moisturizing!) I was so surprised when I opened the jar to see a golden honey color. 🍯 This is the second product I have from the Blackberry collection and I really see the quality in it and hope the anti-aging benefits will help me in the long run. 

The Soothing Gel is formulated with 71.8% Houttuynia Cordata Extract (anti-inflammatory properties to soothe and refine skin and pores) and 9.7% Tea Tree Extract (antibiotic properties to heal), delivering instant calming and cooling effects to irritated skin. It’s also enriched with panthenol and six kinds of hyaluronic acids to hydrate and moisturize. As suggested by its name this cream is a lot lighter in texture & I enjoyed using it as part of my morning routine, while the Intense Cream I used in the evening. Both are unscented and I’m excited to incorporate them into my day & night time routine.

Like most petroleum products application is greasy

I use this primarily for my hands and arms which are dry a lot. Amazing hydration, works as intended. 

I did not have any issues with this product, although a bit pricy selling for $28 on Innisfree website.

This has been a favorite of mine since I started my skin care journey. I am on the third bottle of this serum, as it’s very easy to incorporate into any routine for an extra boost of hydration. It has a more watery gel-like texture and absorbs pretty fast into the skin. Mild refreshing herbal/green tea scent, which I enjoy. 🍵 I saw there is a new formulation now which includes added Hyaluronic Acid (5 different types) and Green Tea Tri-biotics. They also claim to have boosted the effective ingredients and reduced fragrance. 

This cleanser is gentle on the skin with very minimal/no fragrance. It’s refreshing, leaving my skin feeling clean. Suitable for daily use.

👀 @marynmay_official Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream

Happy New Year friends! Starting off the year with some sparkle! ✨ 

The shiny and silver packaging of this Mary & May eye cream really gave off a luxurious vibe so it was perfect to start the year with. 🎉 First off, the fine tip tube made it easy to precisely squeeze and apply the cream in the desired areas around my eyes which I rub in gently with my finger. Its texture is thick and creamy, but dries light and smooth. I have been using this only at night and wake up to refreshed skin along side other products I have in my routine. However, for my fragrance sticklers: the cream unfortunately smells like soap to me. It’s fairly mild but still noticeable, and a closer look at the ingredients lists out “fragrance” so something is present. I haven’t experience any skin irritation but more so I tend to get headaches if a scent is too strong. 😵‍💫

Key ingredients in this eye cream include: a combination of tranexamic acid (1,000 ppm) & glutathione (1,000 ppm), a powerful anti oxidant and melanin blocker, to help brighten the dull tone around the eyes and improve uneven skin tone. It also contains vitamin c to help improve skin blemishes and produce collagen.
