Does anyone have any tips on reapplying sunscreen over makeup? I personally havent tried sunsticks because I cant imagine that being sanitary, and also dragging something over my face might end up ruining my makeup? I’ve also doubted using powders with SPF since I wouldnt know how much I’d need to properly protect my face. The only safe option I know is to just not wear base makeup to make re-application easy 😭

the product that’s always worked for me for years now as the first step to my double cleansing routine is pond’s cold cream. I’m almost done with my current tub and I’ve been contemplating on finally trying out a different product as the first step to my double cleansing routine. 

I mostly only use sunscreen daily, and minimal makeup (including a light makeup base) when I’m in the mood to or when I’m out for errands.

Any product suggestions/recos? What are your thoughts/experiences between cleansing balms and cleansing oils? ❤️❤️

I’ve recently decided to join the skincare community because it’s something I’m passionate about and I enjoy reading about everyone’s journeys and experiences. Seeing everyone’s growth physically, mentally and emotionally is so incredible and so very inspiring.
The skincare world gives me so much comfort, but I do think I have some form of social anxiety. I tend to overthink when people comment or message me, because I’m scared I might say or do the wrong thing. Sometimes I end up just not interacting at all.

It’s crazy because right away it’s so apparent how this community is very supportive and sweet. But I just started and I can’t help overthinking every interaction.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? What do you do about it?

Social Anxiety in the Community

I received this product for free from Picky and VVBetter in exchange for my honest review.

This firming eye cream focuses on brightening, moisturizing, and strengthening the skin’s elasticity. It contains Vitamin C, 8 peptides, and Bakuchiol and is easily blended and absorbed into the skin.

Although it is a firming eye cream, I like to use this on my whole face since I don’t have any fine lines or wrinkles to target yet. The lighweight creamy texture makes it an easy fuss-free application.
Bakuchiol is the winning ingredient here for me since it is a natural, more gentle alternative to retinol. I’ve only been using this for 2 weeks so it’s too soon to notice any visible and obvious results. But so far I am loving how this feels on my skin, plus the multi-benefits of this cream really cut back my evening skincare routine. A must try for those that are still hesitant to get into retinol and want to try something gentler on their skin. And of course, as a packaging fan I have to mention the beautiful lavender bottle this came in and the twist cap gimmick - good packaging really elevates the skincare experience for me.


Personally, I just find it too basic of a product that I wouldn’t purchase it for myself

I enjoyed this product, but it did take some for it to grow on me. It has a gel consistency, contains centella to sooth, as well as 3 lipid components to help with skin barrier strengthening. Overall a nice basic product.

There’s nothing i disliked about this product

I love how hydrating this toner is. Having oily skin and living in a hot humid climate, I really appreciate the texture’s beautiful balance between viscous and water, and not tacky at all! My skin drinks this toner up and leaves it feeling supple and nourished. I love to layer my toners, and I ended up using this as my final third toner layer before applying my serum. 

Apart from the faint physical sunscreen scent, which disappears fast, I had no bad experiences with this products

One of the best sun serums ive tried! Belif’s aqua bomb sun serum is lightweight, moisturizing, and gives me no visible white cast. It’s a breeze to apply and reapply, perfect for the hot summer season and the cold and drying ber month season! If youre looking for a new sunscreen to try, definitely give this one a try 🤍 a 10/10 for me

I had no bad experience with this product

This is my first oil based cleanser (I’ve been using cold creams and balms), I just figured oils would be messier to use compared to its balm counterpart. Though I wasnt wrong, this was still a pleasure to use as a first step cleanser. The emulsifying phase is very satisfying. As someone who wears contact lenses and sometimes gets too lazy to take them off before cleansing, I love that this doesn’t sting or fog up my eyes the way cold creams do. As for it’s main purpose, it does the job of breaking down my sunscreen and/or makeup for the day. It feels light on the skin and doesnt clog up my pores either. I think Skin1004’s minimalist packaging is just so well done that it rly elevates the skincare experience even by just a little for its users, and this product was no exception.
