I’m new to makeup and I’ve been told to always cleanse before applying heavy makeup. I usually cleanse only once a day at night and my skin is happy with that. Now my question is do I really have to cleanse before makeup? Then that would make cleansing twice within a short time as I would have to double cleanse to take it off.

Edit: I think my question wasn’t clear. I don’t have problem cleansing twice, I know with my oily skin it’s perfectly fine to cleanse twice a day. However, my concern is if I cleanse before makeup than that would be cleansing twice within a very short time (as I don’t wear makeup more than 2/3 hours). Would that be overstripping my skin as the duration between the two cleanses is really short?

Hi, a newbie here.
Recently I’ve noticed that my skin turns pretty oily after an hour of doing my pm routine. Also a lot of tiny bumps has been forming on my cheeks. It’s weird as I have been doing the same exact routine since November and my skin was pretty clear and didn’t turn this oily. What do you think is causing the sudden change?

Also after cleansing I like to put snail mucin right away on my damp face. Is this okay?
