My new K-Beauty arrived from Korea and landed on my vanity (Thank You, Style Korean!) My first time trying out these products after hearing so much about them. Hoping to add to my holy grail! What are your experiences with these bad boys? What are your holy grails?

***UPDATE: All products worked well for my oily/acne prone skin with no breakout or irritation. They all layered well with other products without pilling.

COSRX - Snail 96 Mucin: Needs no intro or review. Everything they hype about this is true. Happy 🐌 = Happy face!

ROVECTIN - Clean Lotus Water Cream: Impressed with the silky texture of the moisterizer that gives a burst of refreshing sensation. A great moisterizer that absorbs quickly and non-greasy.

ROVECTIN - Aqua UV Protector: A very moisterizing sunscreen that is not heavy or suffocating. I would perhaps reserve this amazing sunscreen for winter time due to my overly generous oily skin.

SUNTIQUE - I'm Aqua Sun Essence: Fantastic silky smooth emulsion-like texture. Absorbs quickly and non-greasy. It gives an initial burst of hydration and an addictive light marine-like scent that dissapates quickly. This may take the place of my SUPERGOOP! - Unseen for the time being. I love the formulation of Supergoop! - Unseen, but wish it was SPF 50+ PA (++++).

MEDI-PEEL - Peptide 9 Ampoule Eye Patch: These are so hydrating and fun. I leave these on while doing chores, video gaming, reading, binging shows or writing this review and I feel like a BOSS while doing it.

SON & PARK - Beauty Water: If I had to chose only one product from this batch of gems to crown winner to be inducted into the Holy Grail of Fame would be this cleansing water that dual as toner and even gentle exfoliator. I use this in the evening to effortlessly cleanse away all my daytime products, sunscreen and impurities then proceed to just apply my evening skincare routine as normal. This Beauty Water has instantly changed my life!

The BONAJOUR - Bio Active Resurrection Plant Essence is a serum optimizes for anti-aging. Formulated with Glyceryl Glucoside, the key ingredient derived from the Resurrection plant to improve the self-regenerating power of skin and revitalizes skin. Activates the water path of your skin, gives your skin a deep moisturizing and improves your skin texture.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
• Selaginella Lepidophylla (66% Rose of Jericho): Also known as "The Resurrection Plant", it activates the water path of your skin, aquaporin, to nourish and moisturize the skin and improve elasticity.
• Glycerol Glucoside: Improves the self-regenerating power of skin. Revitalizing and makes rough skin texture softer.

MY EXPERIENCE:
This BONAJOUR - Bio Active Resurrection Plant Essence is too amazing to describe in words. My skin drinks this essence up and suddenly I'm reincarnated. It's so deeply nourishing and leaves my skin soft and radiant even until the next morning. While testing this essence, my husband noticed how lively my skin appeared and loved how soft my face was to the touch. I absolutely adore that this product is packaged in a beautifully minimalistic black hygienic pump. One pump dispenses a perfect amount for my face. This essence has a light purple hue to it from the azulene that it contains. The texture has some body to it similar to a light gel-like cream. It luxuriously blends and absorbs quickly, leaving no tack or stickiness. I use this essence in my night routine along with the brand's spectacular Bio Active Resurrection Plant Night Cream. This essence has earned a Holy Grail status on my vanity. I am so obsessed and will repurchase over and over. Thank you, BONAJOUR!!!

❌ Packaging: Stem is difficult to remove. Takes away from the user experience.

FARMSTAY - Tea Tree Biome Calming Ampoule

PRODUCT CLAIMS:
In order to control healthy skin balance, the serum intensively cares for sensitive skin with damaged inner and outer walls and makes it smooth and solid skin texture with fresh and fast absorption without irritation. 
High-nutritional soothing ampoule, which increases moisture density by forming a strong moisture and nutritional protective film on the skin, permeates between the skin and makes it healthy and glossy.
It fills dry and dry skin with deep moisturization and nutrition to balance oil and water.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
• Tea Tree Leaf Extract (10,185ppm): Calms irritated skin.
• Micro Biome: It is a compound word of Microbe and Biome. It refers to the environment in which microorganisms and ecosystems live, including genetic information of the various microorganisms. It takes care of the skin's foundation to change skin texture, strengthen skin barrier and promote blood circulation to make the skin clear and healthy.

MY EXPERIENCE:
This serum intrigued me due its formulation with Micro Biome compound to strengthen skin barrier. The texture is a thicker viscous that absorbs to skin quickly without stickiness. Has a slight tea tree scent that dissipates quickly. It certainly is very hydrating and provides a cooling effect when applied. Unfortunately, it did not provide me the desired calming results to my redness when my skin was irritated, but neither did it cause any irritation or breakouts. I will continue use. The minimalistic green design of the packaging is very attractive but the stem is quite difficult to remove, taking away from the user experience. It's a decent serum for me, but for the price point it will not be on my repurchase list currently.

Fantastic light-weight emulsion texture similar to Etude House - Soon Jung Emulsion. Very hydrating and absorb quickly to skin. The best feature of the product is that it is mattifying! Has a very light enjoyable fragrance that dissapates quickly. My new #HolyGrail!

PRODUCT CLAIMS:
COS DE BAHA (TN) Tranexamic Acid 5% + Niacinamide 5% Serum is formulated with Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide and Sodium Hyaluronate fades the appearance of stubborn spots and helps restore and replenish your skin’s barrier. Tranexamic Acid helps lighten areas of discoloration and melasma for more-even-toned skin. Niacinamide improves skin texture and tone and reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Sodium Hyaluronate is a superstar humectant that attracts water, keeping skin hydrated for hours.

Some of the ingredients that will enhance the benefits of tranexamic acid include: salicylic acid, niacinamide, bakuchiol, azelaic acid, vitamin C, arbutin, licorice acid and retinol.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
• Tranexamic Acid (5%): An amino acid that is effective in reducing hyperpigmentation and evening out the skin tone. It can also help in skin barrier recovery. It is used to treat melasma, especially with injections and when taken orally.
• Niacinamide (5%): Is proven to be effective in reducing blemishes, evening out skin tone and helping to improve lines and wrinkles. It helps the skin to repair sun damage, calm down inflammation and keep maintain good levels of moisture. The concentration of about 2% is effective for supporting the skin barrier and evening out the skin tone. Concentration of 4-6% is better for helping with acne and balancing the sebum production.
• Sodium Hyaluronate: One of the best moisturizing ingredients. Attracts water into the upper layer of the skin.

MY EXPERIENCE:
COS DE BAHA - (TN) Tranexamic Acid 5% + Niacinamide 5% Serum is true to it's claims to treat hyperpigmentation. This serum has a little body to it's texture and absorbs quickly. It contains no fragrance and has no scent. 3 drops is all I need for my face. I use this serum in my morning routine to pair with Vitamin C serum and night routine to pair with retinal serum without any irritation. This serum does not pill when used on it's own or layered with numerous products. After 3-4 weeks of usage, it has significantly reduced and faded even my most stubborn hyperpigmentation. For the product's effective performance and price point COS DE BAHA - (TN) Tranexamic Acid 5% + Niacinamide 5% Serum has earned Holy Grail status in my routine. Thank you, COS DE BAHA!
