Hehe i know many of yall already know this but...!

when u be squeezing every last microgram of product out, use a scissors and snip snip!!✂️✂️ (only works for soft plastic tubes for obvious reasons)

there's usually enough product left to apply once or twice more!!

haha and when ure done u cld keep the product like in the second pic for one more day (use those last drops up quick!! Not advisable to keep for long becos product packaging exists for a reason)

I've recently tried out the benton galactomyces toner and was rather underwhelmed as I found it to be too watery and saw minimal benefits to my skin despite using it for a month or so! Hey guys!! I’ve recently been trying out I’m From’s latest SPF release and would love to share my thoughts, and gather ur opinions on rice in skincare!

Overall, I’ve been really enjoying this mineral sunscreen, and it is definitely one of the best mineral spfs out there. 
✅ Amazing lightweight texture, spreadability is up there with chemical sunscreens
✅Minimal tugging on the skin
✅ I liked the fragrance in this spf, it was an elegant scent that wasn’t overpowering
✅ I really like the natural finish on this one! Oily skin people who hates shine/overly dewy spfs, check this one out!
😳 Unfortunately, this does leave a white cast, but it is really manageable  


🙋Would y’all try this mineral spf? Do yall prefer chemical or mineral spfs!

Nothing I can think of 🔹 Verdict: 5/5
I would readily recommend this moisturiser to all skin types. Purito is a cruelty-free, vegan brand that I have recently discovered and am so obsessed with! Though I wouldn’t use this moisturiser in the morning, I can’t recommend this enough as a fast-absorbing yet nourishing moisturiser for night-time use.

🔹 PURITO Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturiser

I received this product for free from Picky and PURITO in exchange for my honest review.  

🔹 Price Point: ~S$30 for 100ml  
Not the most affordable, but still reasonably priced

🔹 Key Ingredients: Ceramide NP, Ceramide NS, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP 
 
🔹 Brand Claims: 5 different types of ceramides at 5,000 ppm for a healthy skin barrier and to help with redness 
 
🔹 Does the science back it?: Yes, ceramides have been shown to strengthen skin barrier, however, we lack studies showing optimum concentration and ratio of ceramide types used.  
Tldr; the 5 types present in this purito moisturiser, nor the 5000ppm, does not necessarily mean its better than other ceramide creams
 
🔹 Texture: 
This is a nourishing moisturiser with a creamy texture — I was a little apprehensive that this moisturiser would be a little too thick for my oily skin type, but I was pleasantly surprised, as it was absorbed really quickly by my skin, and left my skin with a slight bounce. 

🔹 Thoughts: 
I really enjoyed the luscious and nourishing texture of this cream. Despite having oily skin, this moisturiser did not feel heavy or clogging on my skin. I use this as a nighttime moisturiser, and every morning, my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. The air pump also makes it really nice and convenient to dispense. 

On top of this, I really need to shoutout PURITO’s sustainability efforts — it really is very commendable as all aspects of its production have been thoughtfully examined to reduce our impact. I really appreciate the details — from using recycled paper not just in the packaging, but even the packaging tape and paper box are biodegradable as well.

🙄 Strong, overpowering fragrance
🙄 Contains potential irritants (linalool, limonene)
🙄 Green tea seed extract near the bottom of ingredients list (indicates low %)

Unfortunately, the strong fragrance in this product is a naur from me as it irritated my skin! also the low percentage of green tea is also a turn off :(

innisfree green tea toner! 🍃🍃🍃

🍃Innisfree Green Tea Seed Skin (200ml)
💚 Quite hydrating and fast absorbing texture
Overall: 2/5 did not slay, would not recommend :(
💚 Does contain green tea, which is an excellent ingredient for oily skin types as it helps with sebum production, and is a strong antioxidant  

🧐 may not be sufficiently hydrating for dry skin types
🧐 strong herbal scent may be off putting for some, but I personally enjoyed it

🌟 Verdict: 5/5
Overall, these are really examples of stellar products with green tea extract, and with all the extensive research conducted on this star ingredient, with benefits from anti-aging to anti-inflammatory properties, this line is really easy to recommend, especially for oily skin types as they are both lightweight. 


🍃isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner (200ml)
 
🍃 Price Point: ~USD$15 for 200ml (toner)  

🍃 Key Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea), alcohol and fragrance free

🍃 Texture: lightweight, watery texture with brownish hue
 
🍃 Thoughts: 
The green tea line from isntree is really superb, everything from the texture to the ease of application is really nice. 

Easily a HG toner, especially for oily skin types! This toner has a brown hue with a strong herbal scent that I enjoy, and left a hydrating yet non-tacky finish. While green tea is the main ingredient in this toner, it is also packed with other really amazing ingredients like centella extract for soothing and willow bark extract for gentle chemical exfoliation. I have been using this toner rather consistently, and definitely have been noticing its sebum control effects, as I feel less oily throughout the day! (must be green tea doing the heavy work!)

💚 fragrance, Alcohol, eo free == great for sensitive skin! 
💚 brownish liquid, high % of green tea extract (first ingredient in list)
💚 contains other beneficial ingredients, eg centella for soothing, willow bark extract for gentle exfoliation
💚 amazing for sebum control

Dryer skin types may want to go for more hydrating toners for the PM, but this one is really nice for light hydration in the AM! Strongly recommend for oily skin types tho! 

🌟 Verdict: 5/5 
I loved both of these products from P.CALM, they have been so so nice, gentle and hydrating for my oily, acne-prone skin. I definitely can see myself repurchasing both of these two as they did such a wonderful job at hydrating my skin, and I feel that they complement one another to deliver deep moisture to the skin.

🌟tl;dr: Will Repurchase BOTH, Potential HG for oily gals!!
✅ Hydrating, Lightweight  
✅ Non-Sticky, Quick Absorption 
✅ Ingredients that Soothe, Target Acne and Hyperpigmentation (Centella, Tea Tree, Niacinamide etc.) 

🌟 Price Point: 
💧 Toner: S$24 | 200ml

🌟 Key Ingredients: 
💧 Toner:  Azulene T--CA (tea tree + cica),  KMX Ferment (anti-inflammatory)


🌟 Texture and Performance: 
💧 Toner:  Lightweight, watery toner that absorbs really quickly. 


🌟 Thoughts: 
💧 Toner: I really really enjoy this one, it kind of reminded me of the Isntree Green Tea toner (which I really love!). P.CALM did a really great job of formulating this for oily, acne-prone skin, as it provides a balanced amount of moisture, felt cooling on the skin, and made my skin noticeably feel less oily throughout the day (similar finish to isntree green tea toner imo!). 

🌼Thoughts: 
This toner lacks in the hydrating department — I would not recommend this for dry skin types. Although this toner did not irritate my sensitive skin, I didn’t observe any obvious benefits to my skin either. This adds to my disillusionment with toners and makes it feel like an easy step to skip in my skincare routine. 

In addition, I get how the calendula petals really add to the visual aesthetics of the products, but really ultimately, this feels gimmicky — the petals can’t be used and they sometimes block the product from the cap lol which just makes it a little irritating. 

🌼Verdict: 2/5
This toner lacks in the hydrating department — I would not recommend this for dry skin types. This, however, is a nice lightweight toner for oilier skin types, but the high price point makes it difficult to recommend.

🌼<<Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, Alcohol Free>>

On the expensive side  

🌼Texture: 
This is a really watery toner with a lightweight texture — it absorbs really quickly into the skin, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling refreshed without any sticky feeling.

Brand Claims: Calendula has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties
