Not enough as a stand alone hydrsting product for dry skin 

Product review : @cosrx popolis synergy toner 

By now I’m sure we are all familiar with the cosrx brand with quite a number of best selling products under their belt . One of the popular line is their propolis line and I decided to try the propolis synergy toner which the brand claims to hydrate and soothe the skin while it also brightens and plumps the skin .It contains propolis extract, royal jelly extract, and honey extract to provide antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

The two main ingredients in this formulation is the propolis extract ( which makes up 72.6%) of its main ingredient list and honey extract which contains 10%. Both ingredients are amazing for promoting a healthy barrier ,as well as reducing redness and help to fade post acne scars.

My honest review: This is a lightweight product with some viscous to it . The formulation is gentle enough to use twice daily in my Am and Pm routine after cleansing my skin . I noticed some light foaming when applied to really damp skin ( but this doesn’t happen all the time especially when I let my skin dry down a little bit more) . I would usually apply to my palms and then pat into my skin , but I noticed more glass like plumpness to my skin when I put directly to my skin and pat to absorb . 
This toner is fragrance free . It  has no scent at all I was really expecting it to smell like honey but it doesn’t . 

This toner does not work for me as a stand alone hydrating product and so I usually have to layer with other toners and essences I have in my routine ( for context I have a normal to dry skin). I did experience brightness to my skin but more importantly the plumpness and that glassy feel to the skin which I love . You would see that immediate glow which really last through the whole day . I really like this one , and would recommend if you need more toners in your routine . But if you’re on a budget and want “THE ONE” hydrating product this isn’t it as I feel there are more better options . 

I also noticed this has helped to bring back plumpness to my skin in just one week of my skin being really dry due to no routine for weeks and just brought back life to my skin as the only hydrating product I introduced last week.
I’m currently not sure if this would be a repurchase for me. But I totally enjoy this product . It’s a 10/10 

Please note that if you’re allergic to honey you might want steer clear. 

CHEERS TO GLOWING SKIN 🥂

There was just that grey cast on my skin and doesnt just seem to blend in especially around my hairline and eyebrows.It also gave my skin a really dull look throughout the day . I had high expectations for this but i was disappointed.

This is my review of the beauty of joseon sunscreen . This is a chemical sunscreen with spf 50 PA++++ and contains rice and probiotics which has skin calming and brightening ingredients. 

This sunscreen feels like a thick cream moisturizer and smells like fermented grains ( I would know cos I use to prepare my son’s homemade grain porridge from scratch 🤣). 

My honest opinion : I do not enjoy sunscreens that stresses me , at least not anymore . I want to be able to wear my sunscreen without having to thoroughly rub across my face for a while to absorb . I experienced mild stinging on my first application ( and i think it was because I exfoliated the night before) .it didn’t sting my face afterwards but be careful around the eye area ( cos i shed some tears 😭).Reapplication was more easier because I tried applying one finger at a time , but i realized after two reapplications my face started feeling a little dry and overwhelmed with the product . 
It’s not giving for me and I totally won’t repurchase. 


Nothing bad about this product. I highly recommend 

PRODUCT REVIEW: Hada labo shirojyun whitening premium lotion(RICH) 

 This is a Japanese toner that is formulated with a blend of potent active ingredients like tranexamic acid, nano hyaluronic acid, vitamin C derivative and vitamin E . 

Tranexamic acid is a powerful skin brightening ingredient to help brighten and prevent dark spots, while the Vitamins C and E in the formulation works to enhance the brightening benefits and to offer protection against free radical damage.
The concentrated nano hyaluronic acid in the formula deeply hydrates the skin and helps it to retain moisture in the skin 

This product has two versions ( LIGHT and RICH) . The word lotion in Japanese means toner , and the word “whitening” means brightening .

My personal experience : I introduced this product in January just because I wanted another hydrating product in my routine but with some brightening effects to help target my hyperpigmentation. It has a lightweight feel to the skin, but also feels very rich . On application this glides into my skin and gives this subtle smoothness to my skin that I always love . ( I remember my first time application I was just wowed by the softness of my skin). 

This is very hydrating as a stand alone product ( but i love extra so I always have to Layer with other hydrating products) . I like that this pairs well with every product I have in my routine and I’ve had no reactions to it . I just apply few drops unto my palm and pat into my skin . I notice I get more plump to my skin while using this method rather than rubbing across my face . 

Now did this work for my hyperpigmentation? I would say YES . I introduced this in my routine in January and it was amongst my first line of approach to treating my hyperpigmentation. It did some of the heavy lifting for me , but when paired with tretinion and azelaic acid , it took it up a notch. I also love that this last so long as i have been using this for 4 months now in my am and pm routine and a little goes a long way for me. 
It’s a 10/10 product


Absolutely nothing bad for my skin , well except you dont like dewy sunscreens 

My first time experience with this sunscreen was a bit off. It has an alcohol smell which I got over by day two though .I also had a slight sting to my eyes but it was nothing uncomfortable and that stopped by day two as well. But as soon as the sunscreen blended into my skin I felt this instant glow to my skin which I really loved and still loving.

It is very hydrating for me especially after applying my hydrating products . My favorite part of this sunscreen is the lightweight milky consistency ,easy absorption and the hydrating glowing effect it gives to me skin . It doesn’t make me greasy at all and it settles into my skin with no white cast . This is a good sunscreen to try .

This is my holy grail sunscreen ❤️


I would say not having a spatula in the packaging 

PRODUCT REVIEW : @cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream .

The cosrx brand needs no further introduction especially if you’re familiar with one of the best selling  product and cults favorite the advanced snail mucin and power essence. 

The term “all in one cream” is described as an all in one step . This means that about three to four skincare steps were merged into one ( lotion , moisturizer, face cream and mask) . 

I was interested in getting this product as my skin texture improved after getting the snail mucin and my quest for more hydration began . This product has lived up to its claim for my skin . 

The cream is very lightweight and enriched with 92% snail secretion .it drenched my skin with enough moisture and hydration . It has also helped in soothing my skin barrier whenever I exfoliate or after applying tretinion and I always feel so pampered when this product is being absorbed into my skin. When combined with the power essence WHEW!! extra hydrated skin . My skin’s texture and plumpness increased because of this product .

This has currently joined my holy grail of products and would be in my routine for a long time . I also tend to apply this cream to my shoulders and chest whenever I want to show of some skin and the glow is so amazing . Now I want a body lotion made from snail secretion 😂. 

I would recommend this product if you want more hydration into your skincare routine . Some people might be allergic to this product so make sure to patch test first .
