Was just curious to know if you guys use any hair care products? (I have waist-length straight black hair)

My hair gets oily pretty fast so I have to wash it every 2 days and I found a couple of shampoos that work really well for my hair (Wella Oil Reflections + TOUN28 Ugly Project Black Charcoal Shampoo Bar)☺️ They just leave my hair so soft and shiny! ✨

The tips of my hair are dyed and really need to trim them off because there are sooo many split ends!

I don't use anything for them, but I've heard about MISE EN SCNE's perfect hair serum - anyone tried this?? Anything you guys can recommend for damaged ends or just a treatment that you've seen good results with? 💖

Hi everyone 👋 I'm new to the Picky community ❤️(why didn't I know about it beforeeeee 😭) but have been exploring skincare (especially kbeauty) for quite a few years~

One thing I've always struggled with is CHAPPED LIPS 😭 it comes and goes, but I notice it alot when hayfever season arrives (ie. just arrived in the UK) and I'm non-stop thirsty and nose doesn't stop being itchy (ahhh) 👃

I end up with really flaky ass lips, and am always so tempted to bite/lick them and pick at the skin on my lips 😔 evidently, saliva has never been a good moisturisier and only makes them drier..

Also, I read somewhere that using lip balm makes your lips drier in the long run?? Anyone heard about this? So I'm always eternally struggling between using lip balm, licking my lips and drinking water 😅😅

Any tips/recommendations to banish chapped lips? Maybe I'm not exfoliating them enough..?

I’ve recently been seeing alot of posts around what’s popular in Korea vs what’s popular globally and I find the discussion really interesting! 😍 I really want to keep up more with what’s popular in Korea but am curious who you all follow for this info? 

I try to check brand ig’s for new releases, Olive Young kr and Korean beauty apps like hwahae although sometimes it’s a struggle because I don’t understand much Korean.

Korean influencers I know and follow are:
- @euniunni 🦄(I think she has a very large global audience so you’ll defo recognise more brands she mentions, I love watching her olive young store videos)

- @joanday (all rounded content but I like watching her empties!)

- @odilemonond (not natively Korean I think but very knowledgeable about the Asian beauty industry with extremely informative and well edited videos)

Which Korean influencers do you follow?

Hi everyone! I have a 12 year old sister who keeps seeing us do our skincare routines and also wants to have her own.

In my opinion, she's too young and it seems her skin is perfectly fine. Even she says there's nothing wrong with her skin.

I say this because I started diving into the skincare world around 14 years old and think I did more damage than good, and don't think there wasn't anything wrong with my skin at that point.

I'm just curious what you guys think? Maybe it's just that I was really ill-informed when I started trying out skincare, but if we got her some really gentle products (cleanser, moisturiser, sunscreen) it would be alright?

Should a 12 year old have a skincare routine?

I've had a hard time convincing some people around me (especially guy friends) to have a simple skincare routine.

I tell them that a skincare routine could help those spots or wrinkles on their face, and wearing sunscreen can prevent skin cancer - but they're often skeptical it works and think it's a waste of money. Sometimes I get responses like it's too many steps (but I'm not sure if it gets simpler than 3: cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen xD)

For my boyfriend I've resorted to giving him some skincare and getting us to do our skincare routines together when we can.

Have you guys had any success stories with getting friends/family into skincare? 😊

I would say because the texture is a little runny, it comes out quite quickly from the tube, so be careful! I almost wish there was a squeeze bottle with a snap on cap, because screwing the cap back on can be a bit time consuming..

This cleanser has a runny jelly-like texture, foams up pretty easily and you don&#39;t need alot of it :)

I looove how soft this cleanser makes my skin feel afterwards! It&#39;s really gentle and leaves my face moisturised 😊

Omgahh I loved this cream so much - as you can see I made use of every last drop of the mini! I don&#39;t have super dry skin but this just made my skin feel reborn every time! My skin felt almost poreless as well when I&#39;d apply it, and very healthy 😊

Non-sticky, hydrated, healthy new skin what more could you want?

💭This is a really gentle exfoliating product that actually makes my skin look brighter and hydrated!

☁️Contains glycolic acid (4%) + lactic acid (4%) as well as Centella Asiatica (calming properties) and hyaluronic acid (which explains why it&#39;s so moisturising!)

🌿Alsooo, FREE FROM parabens, artificial fragrance, parabens, surfactants, mineral oil, alcohol, silicone and fragrance

💧Love the spray nozzle as well, so convenient!

🏷️Everyone should try this one imo, it&#39;s also pretty cheap, I got it off StyleKorean on sale for $6.90&#47;£5&#47;100ml (?!)

I think it disappears quite fast, or maybe I&#39;m just having to much fun squeezing the foam out. I used about half of it in a month (nights only)

Cleanser has a really subtle green tea scent (I don&#39;t find it strong) and leaves my face feeling super hydrated and smooth

Two things that really caught my eye with this cleanser were: the real green tea leaves and the foam pump!

Super fun to play with the foam, and don&#39;t have to worry about lathering up even if it only saves me 5 seconds before bed - sleep is definitely precious these days 😅
