Hello y'all
For the past couple of weeks, my eyelids have been SUPER dry! I have dry skin generally as well, but nothing too bad that a good moisturizer can't fix. But for about 4-5 weeks I had dry patches on different areas of my face, specially the left side. And it would itch quite a bit as well. I thought my skin was reacting to something in my routine (even though it had been the same for a while), so I stopped everything except cleansing, moisturizing, and applying vaseline.

Now my whole face is fine but my eyelid, specially the left one, is soooo dry 😭😭 It's flaky and sensitive and all wrinkled up and I can't use anything on it at all, except Jojoba oil.

I can't visit a dermatologist right now so I wanted to get on here and ask for help from the community to see if anyone has any suggestions. This might be a type of eye eczema/dermatitis but I'm not sure. Any help will be appreciated! 💕💕

Since the rebrand and update😍, I've noticed the profile page has a date for when you've been a member since. Now I've been on this app for over 3 years! 😇 But the date says Jan 2024. Just wondering if this is the same for everyone and Picky is just starting to count now from the update, or if it's showing the accurate date for you! 🥺

What I did not like: 
The long list of "Free From" claims

The only thing I don't like, which is more about the brand overall and not the product specifically, are the "clean beauty" claims and the long "free from" list they have under Formula Check on the label of each product. The product itself is amazing and a great add on to the routine for the summer months where you want something light and hydrating.

Packaging: Clear plastic bottle with a dropper

Key Ingredients: 
Glycerin, Combination of 5 different weights of Hyaluronic Acid (Hydrating & Moisturizing) 
Panthenol (Vit B5), Allantoin, Madecassoside (Calming) 
Malachite Extract among other flower and root extracts (Antioxidants)

What I liked:
Viscous, gel like texture that has a nice slip on the skin
Spreads and absorbs well and does not feel tacky 
Gives an intense boost of hydration to the skin 
Gentle and helps to calm irritated skin 
Can be paired with anything and everything 
Gorgeous pastel blue color that is due to the Malachite extract

This is a really nice, lightweight serum that will suit all skin types. If you're looking for a boost of hydration, this is a really good option. The texture is enjoyable and it has no fragrance or artificial/added colors so it should suit even the most sensitive skin. I've been using it everyday in the AM and PM as my first serum after applying my toner(s). It absorbs really well and does not feel tacky or sticky. It's 50ml so it will last quite a long time as well. I generally don't advocate for stand alone HA serums as it is found in so many(practically all) products already but if you're looking for a hydrating, calming, skin-barrier repairing serum, this is a great option.



There was nothing bad. I wish it would have worked better on my post acne marks but everyone's experience is different and it might work better for some people than others.

✨Key Ingredients:
77% Centella Asiatica Extract, MadeWhite brightening ingredient that contains Madecassoside (the little white capsules you see). 4% Niacinamide, 2% Tranexamic Acid, 3-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, other hydrating and skin barrier repairing ingredients like Glycerin, Panthenol, Lactobacillus Ferment, etc.

✨The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. It looks beautiful with the white capsules inside. It has a slightly viscous, gel like texture that I really like in serums. You can feel the beads in your hand when you dispense the product but they melt quickly as you start rubbing the serum onto your face. They don't feel harsh. I personally would have enjoyed the texture more without the capsules but I don't mind them much. There is no added colour or fragrance. It does have a nice earthy smell that reminds me of freshly bought leafy greens. 

I used a couple of drops of this daily, mostly once a day and sometimes twice. This will really last you a long time! I have been using this for more than 2 months and am not even half way through the bottle. Great value for money. In terms of the efficacy, I did notice that my complexion was more evened out and seemed brighter after about a month's use.  I didn't feel that it was making a lot of difference in my PIH or PIE. It did help moisturize my skin though without feeling tacky.  I think this will suit all skin types. Oily skin types might want to skip this in the morning during the summer.

If you are looking to target specific pigmentation concerns I would not go for this but it is good for an overall brightening effect while also adding some moisture and glow to the skin. ✨

Texture: Runny, watery and lightweight but does feel thick when applied on the face.

Usage: Can be used daily AM/PM. Can also be dispensed onto hands like a regular toner but the brand’s recommendation is to, after cleansing, soak a cotton pad with it and swipe it across the face. It will help remove everything (except for waterproof spf/makeup in my experience). If using as a first cleanse, follow up with a water-based cleanser. 

Packaging: A dark brown, plastic bottle with a flip-top cap that can also be unscrewed.

Claims: Cleans, calms, and brightens the skin

Alcohol/EOs/Colors/Fragrance: No

I was eagerly waiting for this one to arrive because I had heard so many good things about it from a lot of the creators I follow! I’ve been using this one for a little over 2 weeks right now in both my morning and night routine and it has not disappointed! It felt extremely runny when I dispensed it onto my hands, but once I started rubbing/patting it onto my face I felt like I was applying a moisturizing serum. The texture felt thick but absorbed very well without any stickiness, so I am guessing you can try layering this 2-3 times! It is light brown in colour and has a very herbal sort of smell, most likely from the 10% Licorice root water. It also contains green tea and a lot of other root and fruit extracts.

I feel like this really helps in balancing the oil production of my skin. Though I have dry skin, using oil-based serums and then spf lead to a bit of a greasy feel after a couple of hours but since I have started using this I’ve noticed that it has been a lot more controlled. In terms of calming effects, I do feel like it has helped reduce the redness of my acne marks and also improved skin texture. I cannot say much for the brightening effects since I have not used it long enough, but with toners the effect is usually very mild and long-term anyway so I was already not expecting much in that area.

Overall, I have been pretty happy with this toner and I can see what the hype is about. A lot of skin types and concerns can benefit from this, specially sensitive, oily, acne-prone types! 

I don't like the faint smell it does give off, even though it's very mild and disipates quickly.

Overall an enjoyable product but I do not see myself purchasing this as there are products that do the job of hydrating and/or brightening much better.

Nothing particularly bad about it.

Usage: I dispensed a couple of drops directly onto my hands and used it daily AM and PM after cleansing.

Packaging: A translucent, plastic bottle with a screw on black cap and a small nozzle as the opening.

Claims: Hydrates, soothes, and brightens the skin to help with hyperpigmentation

Alcohol/EOs/Colors/Fragrance: No/No/No/Yes

The toner has some great ingredients such as Niacinamide, a variety of hydrators and soothers, extracts from Ginseng, acai, aloe vera, etc. The texture is much lighter than the Black Snail toner from the brand and the fragrance is much milder to the point of being negligible. Even though it contains ascorbic acid, the percentage is so low that I used it with retinol and AHA/BHA products without any issues. Keep in mind though that I have pretty resilient skin so don't jump into this! 

The low percentage of Vitamin C and lack of any other brightening actives also means that it doesn't pack the brightening punch that it ideally should considering it's targeting hyperpigmentation. I find Niacinamide to be a good barrier repairing ingredient at a reasonable percentage, but I haven't found it to be very helpful with hyperpigmentation. So while this can be a good barrier helping, hydrating toner, do not expect much in terms of brightening. 

I don't mind fragrance in my skincare but this smells so much like perfume and I felt that the scent took away from the experience of using the product. This is the only reason I took off half a star.

This toner could be really helpful with skin barrier repair but I feel like the added fragrance makes it unaccessible for people with sensitive skin or  fragrance allergy. I hope they come up with a non-fragranced version of this soon because for me, personally, the fragrance in this is a turn off.

Usage: Can be used both in the AM and PM and can be paired with anything. You don't need a lot of it in one go so it can last you for quite some time. 

Texture & Scent: It has a thick, viscous texture and glides super smoothly on the skin. I felt that the texture was closer to that of a light weight serum than a toner, but its very light and absorbs well so it is suitable for all skin types and all climates. Contains no added colors and is colorless. Contains fagrance.

Packaging: It comes in an opaque, plastic bottle with a screw on cap and nozzle for the product to dispense which is your typical toner packaging. The texture is thick so you don't have to worry about accidentally pouring out a lot.

Product Claims: This product is supposed to be soothing and moisturizing and help with fine lines and elasticity. It contains Snail Secretion Filtrate as it first ingredient, has loads of hydrating, moisturizing, and soothing ingredients and also contains Copper Tripeptide, Hydrolyzed Collagen and many fruit and flower extracts. 

Performance: This toner is bomb. I love the thick, gliding texture. My dry, dehydrated skin feels really hydrated and moisturized after using it and I can definitely feel that it's smoother. After using it at night, I felt that I woke up to calmer looking skin with reduced redness. Fine lines and elasticity are not much of an issue for me and any product will take a long time to show improvements in this area so I cannot verify the anti-aging claims as such.
