ANYWAYYYY Look at my recent haul! I only bought 4 products : Cica essence sun pact, Pimple patch, Cica cleanser, No sebum powder. These 4 summed up to only RM56 after all the discounts, which is around 12USD! Also look at that sun pact, its so pretty!

The best part is, look at all the free gifts! So many! I got a box of 6 cica masks, 3 daily soothing mask, 1 pimple patch, and 1 full sized 50ml cica cream! This haul made me so so happy cuz of the free gifts. I loved VT cosmetics cica range when i tried them back then so im super happy to try so many for free! 

(I bought these during the brand day or something, I forgot. But if you buy something now you can still get the cica cream for free with no min spend!

As this is a pressed powder, I find it slightly harder to pick up product with the sponge given. I need multiple swipes for my face. However I do know that this is normal and is expected from a pressed powder formulation. I just wish it was easier to be picked up.

This is my final step of my makeup routine. I layer this on top on my I’m Meme wonder Cover Foundation Cushion. This No sebum setting powder comes in a pressed powder form unlike most of the other brands, which come in a loose powder form. 

My skin type and concerns :
Oily but dehydrated skin.
Large pores, redness, acne scars.

Packaging : 
White and Cyan packaging. Comes with a sponge for application. Product also comes with a built in mirror which is great for reapplication. 

My experience :
I’ve tried lots of setting powders that helps reduce sebum production. This is the first one I’ve tried that comes in a pressed powder form, in which I realised is way easier to use. Due to this one being a pressed powder, I don’t have to tilt or shake my container to be able to use the powder. 

I pair this up with the cushion foundation from the same brand. I must say this duo work really well together. This product also keeps my makeup looking matte way longer than other no sebum powders and in return, my makeup looks good all day even with little to no reapplication.

I had no idea Pyungkang Yul had a mist toner. I am aware of their essence toner which was really popular among the community a few years back for its thick and hydrating properties. 

My skin type & concerns :
Oily but dehydrated skin.

Packaging and texture : 
Hard plastic spray bottle. The label looks minimalistic like many brands nowadays. A pretty good amount of product (200ml) and probably wouldn’’t run out quick. I’m super picky with spray products and I don’t like this nozzle because I feel like it doesn’t spray evenly and feels pretty harsh / sprays too strongly. (Not a fine mist). Texture wise, this feel watery just like water. 

My experience :
I’ll be honest I actually expected a lot more from this product. Pyungkang Yul is a well known brand and I put my expectations high up. Due to my skin type, I prefer toners that are non sticky but hydrating. This one felt way too light, it feels exactly like water. The hydration properties are okay. If you want a lot of hydration, you’d probably need around 5 layers. I personally don’t have time for that and I’d prefer something that’d give me immediate hydration.

There are only 4 ingredients in this. The first one being Coptis Japonica Root extract which is said to have antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties. If you’re into layering your toner, this one is for you. Or if you’re just starting out with skincare and have oily or acne prone skin, you could give this a try. 

I don’t really like the nozzle because it disperses pretty harshly and not spread out. But that’s just a personal preference though, I’m sure lots of other people like it. This product was just okay, did not tick any of my boxes (except for having a big volume) and I’d probably not repurchase this. 

In conclusion, this is for you if you want a lightly hydrating toner mist, if you are a mist lover or if you want something very gentle which will not irritate your skin.

What I didn’t like about this :
I may not be too pleased as there are only 2 shades to pick from. All 3 types of cushions only have 2 shades. I am pretty fair, since I am Chinese and stay at home all day (you get my point). I got the slightly darker shade among the 2 and it was still too light for me.  I wish customers would eventually have a wider shade range to pick .

Packaging : 
Light beige / off white compact cushion. It has a mirror and comes with a sponge for application. It has a compartment that separates the sponge and the foundation part. 

My experience :
This is my first ever cushion foundation product. I expected this to be the same as every other foundation product in a bottle expect in a different and more convenient packaging which is easier to be brought around. Oh was I wrong! 

This one lasts super long. I was out one day for 12 hours with no touch ups and by the time I was home, I still had a full face of makeup on that didnt look bad at all. (Since I have oily skin, I always get home after long days with a whole oil factory on my face). But yes, this was surprising! I paired this up with the I’m Meme Oil Cut Pact and it truly kept my makeup in place.

I wouldn’t say this gave me the best coverage ever as I’ve had other products give me fuller coverage, but this one isn’t bad at all. This one works so much better than other formulas of foundation I’ve tried. When I say that I want something for oily skin, THIS is what I mean.

Conclusion : 
I liked this one for my oily skin! It lasts all day and doesn’t budge. My makeup still looks fresh hours later. If you have oily skin, I recommend getting this one along with the I’m Meme Oil Cut Pact as these 2 work together like a dream. Only complaint is the limited shade range and slightly higher price point.

I think this is a pretty new brand, so they have lots of time to experiment with their packaging and improve it in the future. I absolutely love the formula but packaging wise, in my honest opinion : I’d prefer a more secure cap. This one comes off easily and will definitely pop off if i put it in my luggage bag and will cause a mess.  

Also a small detail I dislike in the packaging is the “Vitamin” word in the packaging. I think it’d look cute with just “Red Spot L-Vita Serum”. The “vitamin” on top of “vita” is placed in a pretty awkward position and I’m sure all the consumers know that Vita stands for vitamin, thats just my tiny suggestion tho!

Their green tangerine toner and multi ice cream look amazing as well and I’d see myself picking those up in the future!

Notable ingredients in this serum 
1. Niacinamide : Well known ingredient for oily skin & helps control sebum production. Fades scars.
2. Aloe leaf extract : Provides hydration and has healing benefits. 
3. Ascorbic acid : Pure Vitamin C (exact concentration unknown). A great antioxidant and works great in fading dark spots.

Packaging and texture :
Plastic bottle containing 50ml of product. Pump packaging. The cap could be better because it comes off pretty easily and might not be the best to bring around for travelling. Clear liquid and absorbs easily. 

My experience :
My first product from this brand and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I wish they’d disclose the Vitamin C % because I’m pretty curious to know. For my oily dehydrated skin, this absorbs almost instantly which I love. I don’t have to wait a long time massaging it into my skin for it to sink into my skin. I use this in the morning which is great as it doesn’t cause my skin to feel oily or sticky. I use this after a hydrating toner and before SPF so it provides the perfect amount of hydration.  

I see pretty good results from this as well. I’ve used this almost every day for 3 weeks and my skin is noticeably brighter, and my skin tone looks more even as well. I’m pretty sure this is the main cause as this is one of the only serum with actives that I’m currently using. The viscosity of this is perfect for hot days in Malaysia and is lightly hydrating.

Conclusion :
I loved this formula. I highly recommend this to whoever wants to try something for their skin completion like for brightening and if dark spots are a concern for you. I felt no discomfort or irritation at all while using this. The fragrance is pretty mild as well.  I’d say this is good for all skin types including sensitive skin! 

For my skin type, this does the job. This cream isn’t anything LIFE CHANGING, but I do enjoy having it in my skincare routine. If you live in a hot and humid country, this one will work great for you too. If you’re looking for something that provides intense moisture, I’d suggest look somewhere else.

I will be very honest and say that I did not have much time to test out this product as there were issues with shipping. However I have been using this for a few days and I will share my thoughts. 

My skin type & concerns :

Notable ingredients : 
1. Licorice root extract (58%) - This is the first ingredient in the list! Soothes skin and helps heal irritated skin.
2. Ceramide - Fatty acids that provide moisture for the skin. Helps lock in moisture.
3. Chlorella Vulgaris extract - A type of algae extract. Rich in antioxidants and has anti aging benefits. 

Packaging and texture :
I love the texture. The packaging could be better. The white cap feels cheap and so does the tube. For the RM100+ price point, I think the packaging could be improved to give users a more high quality feel.

My experience :
I’m super picky when it comes to moisturizer. This one fits my criteria, packaging aside, I think the quality of the product is great.

This cream isn’t a thick creamy moisturiser. This one is honestly more similar to a “water cream”. As I have oily but dehydrated skin, it’s really hard for me to find a good moisturizer that hydrates my skin but doesn’t make me look shiny or oily. 

This cream works like a dream for my skin type. Using this cream in the morning after my serum, AND following up with SPF, this doesn’t cause my face to look greasy. I use a generous amount at night as I sleep in an air conditioned room and I wake up with soft and supple skin.
