Can you kindly suggest effective and safe products to pull out blackheads in my cheek? I may be able to squeeze them out, but that may damage and scar my skin. I appreciate any information you can provide! Thank you!

💦STAR INGREDIENTS: It contains 58% licorice exosomes/root extract.

🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: This cream is more like a gel cream. It has no scent, and it does not contain any fragrance.

👨‍🦱 MY THOUGHTS: This cream is for troubled and sensitive skin, but can work for others for this strengthens skin barrier too. I am currently using a tretinoin treatment nightly (on and off), so I am sometimes in the sensitized skin category. This gel-like cream does not irritate my skin (with some products, adverse reactions potentially related to my tretinoin treatment can be pretty instant).  Not only that, it is moisturizing without being sticky, and I wake up with my skin dewy, not greasy, in the morning (although I may need something heavier during the winter). Some acne-prone skin products I have used can be drying, but this one works well for my combination skin. I sometimes feel a bit of a cooling feeling when I use this, but I'm not sure whether it’s related to using this with a tretinoin treatment.

🌞PRODUCT AND SIZING: 107 Chaga Jelly Low pH Cleanser, 120 ml

🎁PRESENTATION: This cruelty-free cleanser comes in a pink plastic tube with a flip-off cap.

💦STAR INGREDIENTS: It is “formulated with special 7-year aged vinegar, chaga mushroom extract, and ten different botanical extracts. The small particles you see are green tea leaf pieces for mild exfoliation.  

🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: This cleanser is soft jelly-like and has a great green scent (maybe coming from German chamomile flower, paper mulberry root, apple, Japanese camellia leaf, and green tea leaf?). It does not contain any synthetic fragrance.

👨‍🦱 MY THOUGHTS: This is a popular cleanser I have seen great reviews for. Even before I started my IG account, I purchased a few of these for my friends with sensitive skin (I don’t want to buy something that could be irritating!) after reading many positive reviews. This smells like I am walking through a forest. It lathers well (not too much, and not too little). The small tea leaf pieces exfoliate gently and are soft on my skin. The only thing I don’t like about this cleanser is that when I wash this off, my face continues to feel a bit too slippery, and I don’t know when to stop washing my face (you know when you are almost done with washing bubbles off your face, it feels slightly different so you know you can stop). Some people may like that, though. 

👐 PAIRING: I have used this with various products, including Parnell toner pads, 107 Mist Serum, Ohui eye cream, Ohui Age Recovery cream, Nineless sunscreen.

🎁PRESENTATION: It comes in a plastic tube with a twist-off cap.

💦STAR INGREDIENTS: It includes snail extract (92%), collagen, and black bean.

🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: The consistency is closer to gel-cream than cream. It has those snail strings. It has a faint acacia scent, maybe it is from gardenia florida fruit extract? It does not contain any fragrance.

👨‍🦱 MY THOUGHTS: This can be used all over the face and neck and the eye area. Because my chin and cheeks are still red, bumpy, and irritated from using two products that disagreed, I only used this around my eye area without any adverse issues. It is not fast absorbing, but I like it because I feel like it is continuously working. My eye areas felt well moisturized and a bit firmer.

🎁PRESENTATION: This cruelty-free and vegan sun cream comes in a stable stand-on-its-own oval-like tube with a twist-off cap.

💦STAR INGREDIENTS: This sun cream contains noni and cica extract in addition to hyaluronic acid  and triple ceramide for skin soothing and hydration.

🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: This creamy sun cream has a hint of plant/flowery scent (it also contains jasmine flower water, and apple, parsley, and peppermint extracts). It is fragrance-free.  

👨‍🦱 MY THOUGHTS: I know Nineless from their hair products. I looked forward to trying this new product from them. This green grade/EWG grade sun cream is easy to apply, and once it’s applied, it leaves absolutely no white cast. It leaves my skin feeling comfortable and hydrated (my skin is combination). If you use it with a nourishing cream, it may feel a bit sticky initially. The natural scent is very pleasant and light.

👐 PAIRING: I have used this with various products, including Sollalla multi-vitamin toner, Ordinary serum, and Sollalla multi-vitamin cream.

🌞PRODUCT AND SIZING: Tia’m Vita B3 Mist, 200 ml

🎁PRESENTATION: It comes in a lemony translucent plastic bottle with a mist pump.

💦STAR INGREDIENTS: It contains 3% niacinamide and tranexamic acid.

🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: This is clear and watery. It has no scent and does not contain any fragrance.

👨‍🦱 MY THOUGHTS: This is my first time using this mist. It has less niacinamide than the serum and is beginner friendly (although I don’t think I have personally experienced any adverse reaction to niacinamide). Its mist (after an initial a few times) is super fine, and this feels refreshing on the skin without any filmy residue or after-feel.  It is light, and it does not drip either. It gives a nice glow in addition to hydration to my skin without looking greasy. Although it has been a bit cooler this week in Illinois, I look forward to using this on hot summer days when I skip a heavy moisturizer. Also, it comes in a generous size.
