it was my first asian beauty sunscreen but it has a super strong alcohol smell that i really didnt enjoy. it occasionally left my skin feeling super dry as well. however, its very affordable and blends out easily without a whitecast (which i appreciate) so i can definitely see why its a fan favourite

hi guys!! i just received the ATOPALM giveaway products today

i was wondering if the soothing gel lotion & panthenol cream were meant to be used on our faces? on the packaging they did say "face and body", but most pictures i saw on their instagram/website were of models applying it to their bodies!! 

the panthenol cream has a really thick texture & strong smell, and i don't want to risk breaking out 🥲

edit: thank you everyone for the replies! just wanted to clarify that i have no issues testing these out on my face (with a patch test of course). just wanted to check if people usually use these products on their face or mainly their bodies (like what's shown on their website/instagram)

i've recently bought a sunstick and i use it to reapply sunscreen whenever i'm outside. i read online that we should try to santise the sun stick (?)  also i'm not so sure if sunsticks are really hygenic cos we'll be touching it with our dirty faces and the bacteria might develop

this occasionally caused some redness and flushing in my skin (there were some days that my skin was alright with it), and the last straw was when my whole face turned super red & irritated, and i had to wash off everything & redo my whole routine. however this might be due to my own skin's sensitivity 😭😭 

also, the colour is super orangey instead of clear!! it was a slightly lighter orange when i first received it and i'm honestly not sure if it's oxidised already or if it was supposed to be like that (for reference, i kept it in a opaque box at the back of my cupboard for approx 6 months) 

i did notice my hyperpigmentation fade though, but with the amount of irritation i experienced all together i'm not sure if it was worth it LOL (also just wanted to add that i'm not sure if its my skin's reaction to vitamin c in general, or just towards this product, as i've never tried other vitamin c serums before)

if i had to choose one product that i was banned from repurchasing forever, this would unfortunately be it 🥲🥲

contains 5% ascorbic acid with helps brighten complexion, improve uneven skin tone and fade hyperpigmentation ✨ i like to use this in the mornings as vitamin c's antioxidant properties help defend against pollution & free radicals which can cause sun damage

this sleeping mask (which can also be used as a night moisturiser) contains 17 amino acids which helps with brightening, moisturising and calming all at once~ 🤩 the ingredient list sounds super super promising 

it has a gel-like texture which i love and has a really nice cooling & soothing effect after applying 🥳 there's a noticeable scent (smells a little herbal-ish or camomile like) that's not too overwhelming and goes away after awhile, but i actually really like the scent LOL 🤍🤍  my face did feel a little sticky though 😭, but its nothing super major especially since i'll be using this at night

for me i preferred using this top of my night moisturiser (as a sleeping mask) instead of using this alone (in-place of my night moisturiser) as i felt that it wasn't hydrating enough for what my dry skin needed (this definitely varies by person!!) as a sleeping mask, my skin felt really soft the morning after each use and i honestly look forward to using this 🥳🥳 

i also love that it comes in a tube form which is very sanitary & easy to use!! it does contain alcohol though (all the way at the bottom of the ingredient list) but my skin was alright with it

contains bamboo extract which is rich in minerals & provides a nice hydrating effect to your skin 🎋, as well as the classic vegan hyaluronic acid 💦

has a nice viscous texture which i love as it's super easy to apply and mess free!! glides and absorbs into my skin very easily. super lightweight!! but it does leave a sticky finish though 🥲🥲

this feels hydrating!! 🤩 but not super super hydrating if you get what i mean. i love using this for mornings but personally prefer something more hydrating at night. overall, a good product to add to your morning routine!!

super short PAO! i was using it twice a week and i'm not even halfway done with the bottle yet its past its PAO already :-( 

very affordable and comes in low concentrations so its good for new users like me!! the texture is nice and does not irritate my skin either 

not much de-puffing effect, not a huge fan of the super watery texture

contains caffeine and red bean extract which helps with de-puffing, anti-oxidising & improving dark eye circles~~ 🤩

i use this in the mornings! has a really really watery gel-like texture which feels nice on the skin but is a little messy during application (just flows down my under eyes LOL, but maybe this is a me problem). not a big deal but i think i prefer cream based eye products! no noticeable scent, no alcohol, no piling, no stinging 🥳

my eye area does feel more hydrated after using and there's a really nice cooling sensation too. but i honestly did not really notice any significant de-puffing effect 🥲 i did not really notice much changes in my dark eye circles yet but this definitely takes more time 

overall i think this is really nice to have for the extra hydration & i love that it comes in a pump + its such a big bottle for an eye cream. but doesn't really deliver in terms of de-puffing!! 🥲🥲
