Its fragranced as much luxury skincare often is— however, it’s very light and pleasant!

Super gentle yet cleanses effectively! Despite having oily skin, harsh surfactants actually break me out so this cleanser is perfect for me. My skin never feels tight after. I take really hot showers so often my face is red after, but never when i use this!

Does contain alcohol which can sting your eyes.

Mainly mineral oil & synthetic emulsifier based which makes it great for oily skin compared to cleansing oils with very heavy oils. Removes tough mascara like heroine make fairly easily. Definitely a very effective cleanser, and the best part is that it doesn’t require a double cleanse after! I’ve used it for years just rinsing it off with water. Doesn’t have very strong emulsification so it won’t cloudy up your eyes.

Won’t be as effective on every type of acne, but the fact that it’s non-irritating more than makes up for it.

Best thing about this product is that it’s not drying or irritating compared to actives that tackle acne-causing bacteria. If you’ve never tried ibuprofen piconol as an active, definitely give this a shot. It won’t work absolute miracles overnight, but it’s definitely effective.

Essence is pretty thick and can make my face look a little greasy the next morning, but just swiping my face with a toner pad after I remove the mask fixes this :) 

Makes my cystic acne either completely go away or at least come to a head within 3 days, it’s AMAZING!
