How do you remove sunscreen if you do not wear makeup? Do you double cleanse or just use a regular cleanser? And does your cleansing routine change depending on which sunscreen you use?

what is propolis? propolis is essentially bee glue🐝… sounds weird but trust me it's wonderful! propolis is a resin-like substance  made by bees to keep their hives intact. propolis contains polyphenols- antioxidants that fight disease and damage in the body. many of us have probably seen or used products which feature propolis but for those who haven’t, let me introduce you to my favourite ingredient:

how do you tell if a product is moisturising or hydrating? from what i understand, moisturising products lock in hydration by sort of creating a barrier between the skin and environment, whereas hydrating products add hydration to your skin… but how do you know when a product is moisturing or hydrating, or both? is there like a certain feel to it?

HELP!! Does anyone else get these small little bumps on their eyelids? I’m not too sure if theyre milia or something else but I’ve got a few of these tiny bumps which are a little bit red popping up on my eyelid, under my double eyeline fold. 

I usually have pretty oily eyelids and very occasionally have these small bumps appear but i’ve never seen so many at once. The smaller ones usually go away on their own but i’ve had one that had to be extracted and this time round, one of the bumps look pretty red. Is there anything that I can do to gently make them go away?

hello! does anyone know what the POA is for the ample:n ceramide ampoule shot? the packaging only has the expiry date but no POA so if anyone has any info on this it’ll be much appreciated! 

while we’re at it, do you enjoy using the ceramide shot ampoule and do you notice any long term improvements to your skin? 

i’ve been using a mini size of it before opening the full sized product and i quite enjoy it so far! i wouldn’t say that there are any noticeable changes in my fine lines (since it does advertise itself as anti-wrinkle), however, it does help with barrier strengthening and my skin seems like it’s in much better condition since using it!

110% hydrating! this toner is soothing, hydrating and it has a really beautiful texture that i think many would enjoy. this propolis toner has some wonderful ingredients like propolis, honey extract and royal jelly extract. on top of that, it has ceramides, niacinamide, centella, sodium hyaluronate, etc. great ingredients if youre looking for strengthening your skin barrier, hydration and calming your skin. 

the toner has a light orange tint and interestingly has a slightly stringy texture- that said it has some viscosity but it applies and dries like water. it doesnt have that slippery, oily feel that other propolis products usually have. it also has pretty strong sweet honey scent which i do find a bit overwhelming but yet pleasent, it does go over quite fast though. 

overall thoughts & comparison with cosrx:
9/10, might repurchase 
i think its a nice toner that does what it claims to do and layers well with other products. in terms of ingredients, i do find this ingredient list better than the cosrx propolis synergy toner but in general i prefer the cosrx toner. the cosrx is fragranceless, i find it to be a bit more hydrating and i also do prefer the slippery propolis feel that the cosrx has rather than the somebymi that really dries like water. 

this does contain fragrance so id recommend you patch test first or avoid if youre sensitve to scents. its also quite pricey and sells on the laneige online shopee store at $30

tldr: healing, hydrating and smells amazing!

the box and tub are a beautiful coral & the tub is made of matte plastic which gives it a chic appearance. it also comes with an applicator in a plastic sleeve which i appreciate for hygiene reasons! the applicator has a plastic handle and a soft silicon tip- it is kinda small so those with bigger hands might struggle a little. overall, packaging is great but it would be better if they had included some sort of holder for the applicator together with the tub bc i keep losing my tiny applicator in the midst of other products

it has a thick consistency that sticks onto your lips which is great bc it'll last all night without easily rubbing off. it has a sweet fruity scent wjth a subtle sourness to it, similar to grapefruit, and it isn't overpowering! 

my lips are possibly drier than a desert- theyre really damaged and dry which causes them to peel, crack and even bleed sometimes😔 i found this lip mask to be sufficiently healing and hydrating. it manages to bring my lips back from the dead and leaves it soft for the rest of the day!


this is great, absolutely a HG!! this toner applies beautifully and layers well! its very hydrating and calming as well- perfect for my combi, dehydrated and sensitive skin. i find that my acne look less inflammed after using this toner and the redness in my face eases up too. i sometimes use this toner as sort of a mask (i just soak a cotton pad with it) for my acne or when my skin looks dry and dull.

the toner is a bit viscous and might feel a bit sticky for those who havent tried any toner of this consistency but it isnt tacky even after layering it multiple times. it is alcohol and fragrance free too!

there is fragrance which some might not enjoy but personally, i like the citrus smell. when using this essence, i did notice myself breaking out a little but it might have been regular hormonal acne. overall the essence was super gentle on the skin but i did feel some tingling when i applied it at the area between my lips and nose

BEST PACKAGING EVER!!! this essense is a gentle yet effective vitamin c product that helps to brighten the skin, fade hyperpigmentation and reduce acne.

this contains both vitamin c and vitamin e which work together really well. the actual percentage of vitamin c in this isnt specified but its likely a really low percentage, making it a great beginner vitamin c product and suitable for those with sensitive skin.

the essence can be used all over the face as an essence or as a spot treatment on dark spots (i prefer to use use this way!). its a clear runny oil-like product that absorbs really quickly without feeling greasy or heavy on the skin. do note that it does have a citrus fragrance that is a bit strong. 

since i started using this product, i found my dark spots fading much faster and my complexion becoming more even. this is my first vitamin c product and i found it easy to ease in given its low vitamin c percentage.

on to the best part: the packaging is seriously next level. its an opaque tube with an air tight dropper. this keeps out light and air, preventing the product from oxidising quickly thus allowing the product to be kept longer.

this is so expensive and each bottle is only 30ml🥲 would repurchase only if there’s a really good sales ongoing 

the key ingredients in this serum is cica and manuka honey from new zealand! i love skincare which features honey as an ingredient and this serum is no exception:)

suggested usage
• day routine
- mix 1-2 drops of 92 serum with the moisturiser cream to maximise moisture on extremely dry skin.
• night routine
- soak 92 serum on a cotton pad and use as a toner mask/ facial mask for an intensive soothing care
• for makeup enthusiasts
- use the 92 serum to smooth out your skin before applying base makeup #jelloskin

experience
the texture of this serum really surprised me…just looking at it, the 92 serum seems to have a thick, gooey honey-like texture. however, when you apply it, the serum spreads really easily and absorbs super fast with a lightweight texture!! 10/10 for the amazing texture:) this serum doesnt have any added fragrance but it does have a very slight herbal scent which is barely detectable. i cant say much abt the long term benefits yet but so far, it seems to provide instant hydration and it's also really soothing on the skin! this would be wonderful for those who struggle with acne or irritated skin as it’ll repair and calm your skin perfectly!
