I've been interested in investing in a skincare fridge to keep a few of my masking products in and my eye creams. Do any of you recommend any in particular, is there actually any difference between the ones that brands sell and what are you thoughts on beauty fridges in general? ❄️

I recently purchased a little pot of The Ordinary's 100% niacinamide powder because I usually love niacinamide as an ingredient for my skin (and because it was being sold for £1.99 in TK Maxx and I have no self control).
But now that I have it I am a bit worried about what to add it to. It comes with a tiny scoop and says to mix 1/4 of a scoop with a water-based treatment. 
I am assuming most people add it their moisturiser. Is this correct? Or are serums the way to go?
Also, for anyone who has tried this, does it completely dissolve or have you found it to be lumpy or gritty in any way?

Have you used the niacinamide powder from The Ordinary?

I recently saw a qualified aethetician using calendula cream on her face. She said she had acne prone skin but of course she had no acne whatsoever on her face (I suspect this is somewhat due to her having loads of treatments readily available to her whenever she requires) but I was wondering whether anyone on here has heard of using this cream or has personally tried it for thie skin.
It says online that calendula cream is a multi-purpose cream for rough, dry, flaky or chapped skin. It says that it can be used on the face (as well as hands and body, so anywhere basically) and it says it is a well known herbal remedy with "healing properties".
My only issue is that it contains shea butter, which I have found on the past to clog my pores and exacerbate my acne.
I would love to know what you all think.

Calendula Cream for Acne? Yay or nay? 🤔

To start off on a very gross note, I sweat.. a lot 😅 And I can't find a deodorant or antiperspirant that can stop me from sweating and inevitably leading to me smelling. I start using a product and I think "hmm, this is actually working!" 🙌🏻
And then BAM! It stops working and the smell returns.
So I recently heard about using glycolic acid on the under arm area to help with this exact problem, and I don't want to jinx it or nothing buuuut so far so good 🙏🏻
I was wondering if any of you have any tips or products that could help with my smelly situation OR if you have found other uses for any different products?
I'm very interested to know ☺️

I recently started using a tranexamic acid serum in my routine. I picked one up by Me+ which is the Superdrug own brand here in the UK. Their serum has 2.5% tranexamic acid and I feel like it is working really well on my acne scars BUT I have now caught the tranexamic acid bug and want something slightly more potent to see if I can fade my scars even more. What products that include this ingredient would you recommend that I try out next?

This product does give the skin a gorgeous glow but as I have oily skin I am not a huge fan of the glow that this gives me personally. I feel like it is better suited to people with more normal to dry skin types because of this. It is also slightly fragranced but this is not strong or overpowering so it may not be suitable for anyone who is sensitive to fragranced products.

This is a gorgeous duel faze liquid in a spray bottle with a perfectly fine mister. Before use this product needs to be mixed together by shaking.
Apart from the beautiful mister, my favourite part about this spray is that it contains niacinamide for oil balancing and pore minimizing. Other ingredients include many fruit oils and aloe Vera leaf extract for soothing and hydrating properties. 

Absolutely nothing wrong with this cleansing balm. This formula truly is a holy grail!

The original All Clean Balm from Heimish is one of my all time favourite cleansing balms. So, I was over the moon to receive this Mandarin one to try out 🍊

I find that this works just as perfectly as the original at breaking down dirt, makeup and SPF. It melts effortlessly and emulsifies on contact with water.
It's a vegan and cruelty free formula and suitable for sensitive skin types, acne prone skin and even during pregnancy.
I still absolutely love the packaging with the flip-top lid and handy spatula to scoop out the product.
The light fresh scent is very subtle and adds a little bit more luxury when using this already luxurious balm during a first cleanse.

My only issue is it left my skin with that squeaky clean feeling that I am not a huge fan of.

Firstly, a bit about the cleanser:
🫧Contains
- Kaolin Clay for Sebum absorbtion to aim in oil control.
- Calamine, this gives the cleanser it's pink hue and also helps relieve irritation.
- 6 layers of Hyaluronic Acid to maintain hydration.
🫧This cleanser has a slightly gummy texture (hence the name "bubblegum") which helps to remove particulate matter from the skin making it effective at deep pore cleansing.
🫧It is a pH balancing cleanser and preserves the skins natural moisture levels.

My thoughts:
This was a very effective cleanser at removing dirt, sunscreen, leftover makeup and residue from my skin. It lathers up beautifully to a soft fluffy foam. I feel that this is a great cleanser for oily skin types.

Apart from the dropper bottle that it comes in (I'd much rather it came with a pump) there is nothing wrong with this product at all.

This is my first time trying anything from Dr Althea and it's their Vitamin C Boosting Serum 🧡

The brand ~
Dr Althea is a Korean brand that focuses on using effective and natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin. They are a very nature conscious company that donates towards forest conservation through their customers purchases. Their overall vibe is very calming, warm and inviting, from their website to their products.

The info ~
Their Vitamin C Boosting Serum is a vegan formula that contains 9 different vitamins. The vitamin c comes from Hyppophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract which contains more than than 3.2 times the vitamin c of lemons! Other noteworthy ingredients include Niacinamide, Ascorbic Acid, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Allantoin and 8 different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid.
All of these ingredients mean that this powerhouse serum targets uneven skin tone, fine lines and collagen production, plus hydration.

My thoughts ~
After using this serum day and night I can confirm that even though this has a high percentage of vitamin c there is absolutely no irritation on my sensitised skin. The serum is a nice consistency that absorbs quite quickly and layers well with other skincare and underneath makeup. It has a scent that reminds me of eating fresh oranges on holiday. The packaging is extremely aesthetically pleasing to my eye, with the squared amber glass bottle, although I am not the biggest fan of a dropper bottle these days. I have found my skin feels hydrated and plumped after use and I feel like my skin tone is improving, so I am very happy with the results so far.

Have you tried anything from Dr Althea that you would recommend I try out?

There is nothing wrong with this stick balm. I haven't seen a whole lot of difference in the short time that I have been using it but I can feel the difference for sure and will definitely be repurchasing this in the future!
