If I’m wanting to use a cleanser that has salicylic acid in it should I only use that cleanser every other day or is it ok to use everyday? I’m contemplating purchasing either the TIL salicylic acid cleanser or the COSRX one. Any other recommendations would be great too!!

Salicylic Acid

I’ve just started using Tret and as expected my skin has gone from very oily to very dry/flaky and I’m also experiencing quite a bit of purging. I’m looking for some new products to incorporate into my routine since a lot of the products I have are more accomodating to oily skin. 

Any product recommendations that might help with inflammation, dryness, and may help with calming the skin would be hugely appreciated! I’m aware that this is the hard part of tret but I’m pushing forward and staying hopeful.

Heyyy, I’m currently having a very bad breakout and was wondering whether I should stop using my retinol until my acne calms down a bit? Can retinol cause active breakouts to get worse or is it okay to continue using in my routine?

Hiii, my skin is quite dry and flaky around my nose. I’ve been told to use products with ceramides but I don’t know what products have that. Any recommendations would be great xxx This is my routine as well

Cleansers

I’m looking for a new cleaner, preferably a gel or cream cleanser. I’ve been using the La Roache Posay gentle foaming cleanser but it’s dried out my skin quite bad. I usually have oily/acne prone/sensitive skin so I’m not sure if I should be looking at products that accomodate to my now dry skin or just stick to products that work best for oily skin? Any other product recs other than cleansers would be appreciated too! Xx
