I have stumbled upon some articles claiming you shouldn’t use alpha arbutin for more than 3 months. It can apparently damage your skin barrier for longer use. I have tried to look for this statement on other forums but I can’t find anymore information on it. Does anybody know if it’s true or if it is actually safe to use for a longer amount of time?

I’m a bit concerned about the fragrence in the product. I haven’t experinced any negative reactions, and it doesn’t bother me personally, since it’s a wash-off treatment. Wouldn’t recommend for someone with sensitive skin.

It does what it’s supposed to and my skin feels really clean after using this.

No complaints. It does what it’s supposed to.

It makes my skin calm down and is very hydrating without my skin getting oily. It’s really good for balancing out for the harsher anti-acne products I’m using.

It’s waay too heavy for my oily and acne prone skin. It makes my skin break out and it’s difficult to apply. I only use it for night time now or on my cuticles, because I think it’s a shame to throw it out.

SO much fragrance. My face always turned red when I put it on and went back to normal after about half an hour.

It did control my oil production and kept my skin matte throughout the day.

It can feel too stripping, especially on my cheeks, if I have used other harsh products the same day. So now I use The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid serum to balence it out. Other days I just skip the niacinimide, if my skin needs a break.

This product is my first ever holy grail product!❤️❤️  I have struggled with really oily skin and bad acne since I was 10, and this is the first product that have actually made a big difference. It controls my oil production and fades my acne scars, so now I can finally go without oily skin for a whole day. This serum has a permanent place on my shelf and I always have a backup in my drawer. 😅
