I usually have to stick to mineral sunscreens since my skin is very sensitive to chemical filters. Which sunscreens leave minimal to no white cast?

What are the best mineral sunscreens that don’t have a white cast?

It can make your skin dry, flaky, and irritated. Therefore it’s important to start out slow by only using it once a week. It took me about 3 months of consistent use to be able to use it everyday without irritation. 

This has been my holy grail acne product that has transformed my skin. It helped my acne, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture. It took about a month to start seeing results. The gel texture makes it easy to spread on the face. 

Since it is hyaluronic acid-based, you need to seal it in with a thicker moisturizer. Also, if you live in a very dry climate this product is probably not the best option because it has so much hyaluronic acid. 

This is a holy grail product for sensitive and dehydrated skin. Even when my skin is sensitized from using retinoids, it doesn’t sting or burn. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels plump and soft. 

If you have sensitive skin or are new to exfoliating, then this product is not for you. It can really burn your skin since it’s so strong. 

This product is good if you want a strong exfoliant. It’s good for acne prone skin that is resilient. It really clears out blackheads and helps with hyperpigmentation. 

This cream works best as a spot treatment for inflammed areas, because it’s not moisturizing enough to use as a full face moisturizer. Sometimes it can sting if your skin has a compromised moisture barrier. 

This cream works great for calming down irritation over night. When I apply this on small acne and scratches, it is significantly less red in a few hours. 

The worst part about this product is the grainy texture. It feels like you are rubbing sand on your face. The product also collects on dry patches,  creases, and hair. 

The white cast on this sunscreen is managable on fair skin if you apply in layers and allow it to dry down. Since it’s a mineral sunscreen, it’s gentle enough to use around the eyes.
