I went to the beach and ended up with a really bad sunburn on my back despite re-applying my sunscreen. I’ve used aloe and taken cool showers, but I’m looking for any other tips on how to heal it quickly and reverse some of the damage.

StyleKorean has a 24h sale of the full size bottle of VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 for only $1. So obviously I had to buy it. Since I didn’t want to spend $60 to get free shipping, I had to pay for shipping, so my total came out to $11. I figured I won’t be able to get it for this cheap ever again, so I justified treating myself to a little something. 

I’m super excited cause I’ve been seeing it everywhere, but for those of you who have already tried it, what was your experience with it?

Has anyone else been having problems with shipping lately? All of my recent wins from picky have arrived with less than 2 weeks from the deadline, some even within a few days. It just makes it very hard to properly review the products before the deadline. It is definitely that time of year where packages tend to get delayed, but I wasn’t expecting it to happen so soon. Let me know if any of you have been facing the same issue.

I wish they had a bigger package because I run out of this tint very quickly. 

This is a dewy lip tint that leaves a hydrating layer that makes the lips look plump and glossy.

When it comes to the lip balm formula, they aren’t the most moisturizing. I don’t find myself reaching for them when I need intense moisture for my lips, but the colours are pretty, they are more of a lip balm/lipstick hybrid. The packaging is very cute, my only issue with it is that sometimes when you try to close the lids you might accidentally scrape your lip balm with the edges of the cap. Overall they are a great addition to my makeup bag for more everyday makeup, but if you’re looking for a moisturizing lip balm or long lasting lipsticks, I would opt for something else.

The airy lip balm is a velvety matte formula compared to the shiny moisturizing formula of the Athe authentic lipbalms. They aren’t drying like normal matte lip products. If you like the matte lipstick look but hate the dry feeling, then this lip balm is for you. The colour is sheer red but very buildable.

First I have to talk about my favourite of the three, the authentic lip balm in 01 authentic. It looks to be a very sheer lip balm out of the packaging, but once you apply it to your lips the colour actually changes into a soft pink. The colour is very buildable depending on whether you want a softer or more intense colour.




Cons: 

• I will say, it is a hybrid sunscreen, and it does leave a bit of a white cast on my skin tone, so sadly I think it will definitely leave a cast on those with deeper skin tones. 

• It also has a soft powdery scent, so if you’re looking for a fragrance free option, I would skip this one. I know a lot of people don’t like “old lady” fragrances, so I also would not recommend this for those of you that don’t. 



I’ve tried this sunscreen for the past two weeks, and also wore it during my camping trip. I have to say, I’m impressed!

This hybrid sunscreen settles into a satin matte finish that feels comfortable on the skin, so it’s perfect for oily and combination skin. I expected the sunscreen to be heavier considering it is waterproof, but I find it more comfortable compared to a lot of other waterproof sunscreens I’ve tried. 

Pros: 

• I think it’s the best waterproof Korean sunscreen I’ve tried so far. You definitely need to double cleanse your skin when wearing this sunscreen, preferably with an oil cleanser, because I tried removing this with a regular foaming cleanser, and I still had residual sunscreen left on my face. 

• I also like how it sits underneath my makeup. I get oily less quickly, and my makeup stays on my face longer. A lot of viral sunscreens like the boj and the round lab one make my skin very dewy, oily, and sometimes even feel heavy. While I love the dewyness and how they feel on my skin, they can be a bit too much.
