Cruelty-free products mean a lot to me and I love sharing about them! 

I'm waiting on a haul from them 🙊 I know, I know .. I recently posted about not buying more skincare but I couldn't help myself! 

We love the Ceramide Mochi Toner and hand creams. This brand is notorious for cute packaging as well! The ingredients and company standards are what keep us coming back!

If you're comfortable, please share your routines? I believe I have my down pretty well, but I am always interested in what is working for other folks with my skin type. It helps to know what weather conditions are like in your area too??

I am in the Midwestern states of USA. It's currently the first days of spring and not very humid but only now just getting some more sunshine often.

My derma can't get me in for a while, so I am looking at alternatives while I wait in misery.

Does anyone here have experience with cystic acne? I get it on my chin and jawline sometimes (hormonal, I think?). They pop up randomly and take forever to clear away. 

I am looking for products or tips to help with the symptoms:

-painful!!
-redness

As far as I am finding, there really isn't a product to eliminate them? My hydrocolloid patches just don't penetrate deep enough for these bumps.

Painful cystic acne

There could be more product for the price. I dont know that i will repurchase this

This balm comes in a cute egg shaped packaging. The balm fills the lower portion of the egg - 0.75 oz of product. 

The balm heats up as it is rubbed into the skin which is relaxing. Once the balm turns from clear to opaque white, its ready to be washed off.

I found this was a relaxing application and once  I washed it off, the blackheads were less or totally gone. I believe this will need to be used routinely to keep up the results though. 

Infused with charcoal powder and sea salt to open clogged pores, extract excess sebum and remove dirt, oil and dead skin cells, the balm also contains Vitamin E and egg yolk extract for extra hydration. Free of parabens, sulfates and phthalate. 
 Key Ingredients:

Charcoal - Eliminates blackheads and whiteheads, contains antibacterial effect, removes toxins, and purifies pores.
Egg yolk - Maximizes skin’s moisture level and leaves skin silky smooth.
Sea Salt - Purifies from all residues.

There is a slight citrus scent that may bother some, but it was light enough that I didnt mind it

I love the results!!

This brightening peel comes in a tube with a flip-top lid that locks down when not in use. I prefer this style packaging so that I dont contaminate any of the product not in use, and can just squeeze out the appropriate amount.

The peel is a thicker gel, that emulsifies nicely on the skin and melts as it works to slough off dead skin cells.

My skin was immediately red following exfolitation, but that is to be expected. After finishing my routine, my skin calmed down and was noticeably brighter!

I hope with contiued use, the brighting affects will also work on my acne scars.

The bottle itself is a pump style, but my product drips a bit into the lid after use. I may have gotten a defective bottle but It hasn&#39;t affected my experience.

This product didnt impress me initially, but with routine use it has become one of my HGs! 

Prime ingredients:
Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate is a fermented ingredient rich in vitamins, amino acids and minerals that assist in skin tone and texture. 

Niacinamide is the active form of B3, and is utilized as a brightening ingredient in this formula. 

The product comes in a pump bottle which makes the product easy to dispense and reduces contamination of the product (a risk seen with products sold in jars and tubs). 

Purito claims this product is deeply hydrating and plumps the skin, while balancing skin tone. 

My experience:
The texture is a little more vicious than water, but absorbs quickly and doesn&#39;t leave my skin feeling sticky! 

I found the essence to be very hydrating and with continued use my skin did become more even in tone. 

I originally planned to repurchas this once it was empty, but have a multitude of products that contain niacinamide with similar results.

This cream is on the heavier side, and i found it to be uncomfortable during the day, but it works well overnight

COSRX claims this product will calm, soothe and streghten irritated or damaged skin without a greasy feeling. 

Prime ingredients: 
3 types of ceramide that work on repairing the skin&#39;s barrier, regenerating surface cells and creating healthier skin from the inside to the surface.

Medical grade centella Asiatica that balances the skins natural oil and moisture. 

The cream comes in a tube and is rather lightweight in formula for a thicker texture. It takes a couple minutes to pentrate and absorb into the skin. This should be used as the finishing step in your routine as any layering products may pill on top. 

A little bit of the cream goes a long way which makes this product nore cost effective ($26 (USD) for 80g tube on their website at time of review).

I LOVE the affects this product has on my skin. I use it in my PM routine and wake up with plump, red-free skin. Its perfect for dry, winter skin and for anytime your skin may become irriatated or your skins barrier compromised.

Unfortunately this product was not gentle enough for my own daily use.

This cleanser is a foaming cream, that looks opalescent in color. It comes in a tube with a secure snap-on lid. 

Product claims:
Non-drying acne cleanser that removes impurities and excessive sebum for clearer skin. Gentle enough for daily use 

Prime acne fighting ingredients:
Salicylic acid
BHA
Tea tree oil 

My experience:
This product has a slight fragrance but unfortunately sure how to describe it other than &quot;clean.&quot; The scent goes away as the skin dries after cleansing. I personally found this product was too drying for my skin type, but it works well for my kids. It does work in removing impurtities from the skin and keeping pores clear of dirt and excess oils.
