I am so excited to have been able to try the whole line and give you guys my honest review! See my review for each of the products below:

BHA+Pore Zero Toner🌱:
Star 💫 ingredients: 85% Naturally derived Salix Alba (willow) bark water, Salicylic acid, citric acid
Product claims🎶: Gentle toner that calms irritated skin and gets rid of excess sebum and dead skin cells to clear your pores.
My experience😇: I was initially a bit skeptical and scared to use the product as it had alcohol in the ingredients list quite high up, and alcohol doesn’t play well with my dry and sensitive skin, but I gave this a go in the name of a good review anyway! It has a light and watery texture, so I added a generous amount to a cotton pad and swiped it across my skin, concentrating on the breakouts around my forehead and chin. Surprisingly, I found the toner quite hydrating and soothing. It definitely didn’t sting my skin and didn’t trigger my eczema either! I would stick to using this as part of my nighttime routine and top it up with layers of hydrating essence/toner, such as my Hada Labo Premium Gokyujun lotion. What really impressed me was their packaging: it’s a sturdy bottle that feels luxurious to the touch, and the luxury style packaging carries out throughout their entire BHA+Pore Zero line.

BHA + Pore Zero Serum🪴: 
Star 💫 ingredients: Salix Alba (willow) bark water, Glycolic acid, Citric acid, Chlorophyllin-Copper complex, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside
Product claims🎶: Soothes skin and clears clogged pores
My experience😇: Firstly, the colour is beautiful! It’s a gorgeous green coloured serum and, once again, has luxurious packaging! It’s a fairly thick serum, so I dispensed a full dropper on to my palm and massaged it into my face right after the toner step. It didn’t give me any tingling or stinging and felt a bit hydrating. I used it in place of my Mandelic Acid serum at night since it has both AHA and BHA to exfoliate. Did it help with my breakouts? Hard to say. Definitely not over the course of four consecutive nights. But perhaps if I used this for longer I would see more definite results. 



BHA+Pore Zero Foam Cleanser:
Star 💫 ingredients: Willow-BHA™ and the patented green fruit (shine muscat, green papaya, green apple, blue plum) ingredients
Product claims🎶: Daily soothing cleanser, packed with Willow-BHA™ and the patented green fruit (shine muscat, green papaya, green apple, blue plum) ingredients, that declogs pores.
My experience😇: First impression was that the very strong fragrance smells like my father’s old aftershave. Seriously, the scent lingers and it’s a bit off-putting. But the creamy, rich texture of the cleanser almost makes up for it! It almost feels like I’m applying shower cream on my face, because the lather is so rich and creamy. Unfortunately, when I wash the cleanser off it leaves my dry and dehydrated skin with the classic ‘tight and over-cleansed’ feeling that has me sprinting to my room to get some toner on my skin. For someone with oiler skin, this would be perfect!


BHA+Dark Spot Zero Cream:

Product claims🎶: dual-function brightening and wrinkle-improvement cream that intensively cares for dark spots and wrinkles. Packed with Willow-BHA™, tranexamic acid and natural vitamins
My experience😇: Can I just say, WHAT AN AMAZING INGREDIENTS LIST!! This is probably my favourite product of the entire line! It’s packed with such effective ingredients and it’s super hydrating on my dry skin as well. Its scent is by far super light, but it does have fragrance, unfortunately. I started using this as a spot correct as per the name but then I had a genius moment and swapped my night cream for this bad boy, and let me tell you: I woke up GLOWING the next morning! This has a permanent spot in my routine from now on and I would definitely purchase a new one when this runs out. 


Overall pick: BHA+Dark Spot Zero Cream
Cons😩: The whole line is scented. My experience would have been so much better without the added fragrance, especially for a line that is focused on soothing and exfoliating. Also, removing the alcohol from the toner would have made me give it a better review, but alas!

Hi everyone! Let’s discuss the number of steps in skincare routines! Tell me below how many steps your have now, what they are (eg 3 steps: cleanse, moisturise, spf). Also tell me about how many steps you started with and how many you aim to have in your “perfect skin care routine”. 

In my experience, I’ve often used too many products or too little products. Im trying to find the right number of products that will leave my skin glowing and stress free. At the moment I have a 6 step morning routine and a 5 step night routine (same products, both times except spf).

Hi everyone! Tell me about ONE (1) toner that literally changed your game. BUT only ONE. I know we have a whole collection of HGs but you gotta pick one and comment. 

Mine is the isntree green tea toner. I can’t put into words how it literally revolutionised my skin. After two weeks of using it my skin was soft as a baby’s bottom and looked like it was lit from within. My skin also felt more hydrated to the touch and I’m high key obsessed with the toner.

I’m so excited! I didn’t even realise actually and it caught me by surprise! When you got picked how did you know? Did it catch you by surprise? I’m super happy about it! 😍✨

Unfortunately it wasn’t great on the hydration end of things compared to my Hada Labo or Haru Haru toners. 

I wouldn’t use it for exfoliation purposes as the fruit enzymes don’t do anything for my skin. 
It didn’t leave a lasting impression on me and I wouldn’t purchase it once this bottle runs out.

Boosting Toner::

Product claims🎶: hydration, brightening, gentle exfoliation

My experience😇:This toner was super light with a very watery texture. Absorbs very easily when you pat it into the skin. It’s a great toner for anyone who hates viscous or heavy toners and it’s perfect for summer as it disappears right into the skin.

Capsule Ampoule 🌿: :
Star 💫 ingredients: niacinamide, cica, panthenol, tranexamic acid

Product claims🎶: tone brightening, hydration and soothing 

My experience😇: the ampoule look like it glitters in the light because of the capsules inside and it’s absolutely stunning! It blended in easily and absorbed right in with some patting, the texture is grainy and viscous but when I warmed it up in my palms, the white capsules dissolved into the liquid and it wasn’t grainy when I applied it to my face. I didn’t break out usig this product, but didn’t notice any significant brightening either, but niacinamide and tranexamic acid are slow working ingredients so I will continue to use them over the next months and monitor my skin. 

The product is definitely worth it at the price point as you get a gigantic 100 mL in the ampoule, which is very generous! Great summer ampoule for hot weather.



Sadly it has a very plastic/chemical smell, but it disappears pretty fast after application, but that’s the only downside to it.

Product claims🎶: anti-aging, improve skin texture and elasticity
My experience😇: Zero irritation or dryness after using this retinol product after ~3 months of not using any retinol. Excellent beginner retinol for a reasonable price. The texture is very creamy and absorbs very easily into the skin, so best used just under moisturizer at night. It’s too early to tell if it made a difference to my wrinkles/skin texture as I’ll need to use it consistently for at least 3 months. 




Ita too rhick for summer and you can find way cheaper barrier creams. It also takes a while to absorb 

[PR/Gifted] 🍀Thank you Picky and Purito for sending me the Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer in exchange for my honest review! I’ve used the product for several weeks and here is my take:
Star 💫 ingredients: 5 ceramides, allantoin, squalane
Product claims🎶: barrier care and deep hydration
My experience😇: It’s a thick and creamy moisturiser that leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and plumped. It has such a feel good texture to it and doesn’t feel suffocating at all. I would advise against using it in hot and humid weather as it’s too thick for that, but it makes a perfect winter moisturiser, especially if you have super dry skin like me. At $30 AUD for 100 mL, it comes in at a mid price point as well. 

Absolutely nothing. Sometimes it feels like its not foing much but it works hard without making your skin feeling stressed. So worth the price point! 

It lives up to its name! 

I have dry, dehydrated acne prone skin and i was giung through a period of break outs. I brought this little guy into my routine and it wuite oiterally changed my skin. It stopped my breakouts and made the blemishes heal faster than any other serum ive used. It also gave me a lit from within glow. 

The texture of serum is almsot honey like in thickness, but youll find that it sinks into your skin like a dream! No scent or tackiness ive found with some other products. Leaves you skin feeling like skin, but better! 

Even better, its under $20 per bottle! It genuinely cant get any better than this
