First, let's discuss about Pores, 

What is pores ?
    Pores are small openings in the skin that release oils and sweat. They’re also connected to your hair follicles.
    Having a pore is a natural one and it's a human thing.. Every human has pores. 
    Although we can’t change the size of your pores, but some techniques can help minimize their appearance. 

Some of Reasons that makes our pores big :-
▪️Aging
▪️Over Production of Oil /Sebum
▪️Sun damage
▪️Not cleansing properly / Over doing cleansing
▪️Lack of Hydration 

What you can do to minimize them? 
▪️Choose correct products that target our pores like Niacinamide, SA
▪️Use non-comedogenic products
▪️Using cleansers which perfectly cleanse our fave without drying it
▪️Doing Double Cleanse
▪️Using Chemical Exfoliating serums or masks that contains AHA or BHA
▪️ Lack of hydration and Moisture
▪️ Wearing sunscreen 

My routine for Pore Care :- 
1.Double Cleansing :- 
       I do double cleanse method using Garnier Micellar water 

2.Cleanser :- 
      Cosrx Low Ph good morning gel cleanser is the perfect cleanser to those who have pore problem. It has salicylate betaine which act as mild chemical exfoliating ingredients. Gives you clear and clean skin without trying our face. 

3.Salicylic Acid :- 
     I use Minimalist 2% Salicylic acid serum as a chemical exfoliator. Use that once in a week.
SA can penerate deeply into skin, and cleanse our pores thoroughly. 

4.Hydrating Toner :- 
     I use Isntree Hyaluronic acid toner Both AM & PM
Perfect Toner for Dry and dehydrated skin, Meanwhile i have combination acne prone skin. This worked pretty well on my skin and gives adequate amount of hydration. Hydration is the key for mkst of our skincare problems. Maintaining our skin with good amount of hydration will help our pores to  minimize. 

5.Niacinamide Serum :- 
     I use Minimalist 10% Niacinamide serum 
Niacinamide has thr benefit of controlling excessive Oil and sebum production and makes our pores look minimize. This is the best ingredients is known as to pore care. It also works on hyperpigmentation, Acne, Acne scars. 

6. Clay mask:- 
     Clay masks is best for pore care and helps to cleanse the pores properly. It removes the dirt and oil that sticks in our pores and makes our pores healthy. 

7. Non-Comedogenic Moisturizer :- 
      Using Non - Comedogenic moisturizer helps us to prevent our pores from clogging. Its very important to use the moisturizer that not clogged our pores.. 

Pore Myths :- 
▪️You can change your pore size - Never
▪️Sun exposure reduces pore size - Sun exposure will make it worse
▪️Wearing makeup clogs pores - No
▪️Cold water will close your pores - No..! They can't
▪️steaming open your pores - No.!!
▪️Washing your face more frequently will prevent clogged pores - Over doing of cleansing will make your face dry, Which leads to dehydration problem.

Post festive routine 
📍Double cleansing :
           Don't forgot to do double cleanse with your fav cleansing oil/micellar water/cleansing balm. It helps to remove all the makeup and dirt from your face.. 

📍Mild Facewash : 
          Mild facewash will help you to clean your face without striping all the beneficial oil from your skin.
Be gentle with your skin while washing. 

📍 Hydrating toner/essence :
          Using hydrating toners or essence will help give adequate amount of hydration and nourishment to your skin.. And it will help your skin to maintain good skin barrier.
You can use the toner which has skin soothing ingredients like, Centella, Ceramide, Green tea or niacinamide. 

📍 Chemical exfoliation :
          Yes.. I know.. We all love do heavy, glam makeup during festive season.. Using chemical exfoliation after festive season will help to deep clean your pores and remove textured skin. 
If you're pro at chemical exfoliation you can use any chemical peel for 10 mins.. Otherwise use any of your favorite AHA or BHA.. 

📍 Good Moisturizer :
          Seal all with good moisturizer. Choose a moisturizer which has soothing ingredients

Closed comedones :-
           A closed comedo develops when a plug of skin cells and oil becomes trapped within the hair follicle, the tunnel-like structure that hair grows from. The plug fills the follicle, swelling it out and creating that bump you see on your skin 

Types :- 
   ▪️ Some comedones are open. They are also known as blackheads.
   ▪️ Some closed comedones develop a very obvious white head.These types of closed comedones are called milia
   ▪️ If bacteria invade or the follicle wall ruptures, closed comedones can develop into inflamed pimples. 

Causes :- 
     ▪️ Comedogenic products
     ▪️ Heavy lotion or cream
     ▪️ Oil based makeup products
     ▪️ Closed comedones are really common during the tween and teen years. This is because when you are a pre-teen or a teenager, the skin's sebaceous glands (also known as oil glands) speed up production

My experience :- As it name says, Very light weight moisturiser perfectly suits for oily, combination and normal skin. It can easily pair with Other activies. Fast absorption and no greasy. It will suits for all ages like teenage, Matured skin.  
It has no artificial color, fragrance,harsh chemicals and non animal derived. Its cruelty free. 
I use this particular moisturiser to layer retinol (Skincare Sandwich method).
Very light weight on my skin and makes my skin soft and supple. 

Disclaimer :- I heard that it doesn&#39;t suits some people, they felt it made their skin dull. 
Shelley nayak also felt that it made her face dull. Her skintype is dry&#47;Sensitive. You can find her thoughts about this product in her youtube video. Please check..

Very light weight serum can pair and layer with other actives. It has Zinc PCA, Which can helps to regulate the sebum production, reduce the inflammation.. Love this product.

Disclaimer :- Do a patch test before using it.. Please stay away if you&#39;re allergic to Aloe vera juice. Because Aloe vera juice is the 1st ingredient..
