For those that managed hyperpigmentation using different serums/treatments (not including chemical peels), how long did it take before you were truly satisfied with your skin, and felt all your hyperpigmentation was cleared. I’ve been patient and I’ve been playing the waiting game. Some days, I feel like things are improved, and some days, I look at my skin and feel like I have made zero progress. It’s been at least a year of dedicated work. And at least a month of trying products that really target hyperpigmentation. 

Also, I use sunscreen religiously

The cream was okay. I was using this at the same time as the Cysteamine HSA Pigment & Tone Corrector and I wonder if the dermal repair cream helped in terms of preventing my skin from getting irritated. I can’t say I noticed much of a difference and the rate of my acne production did not change by much (I assumed that by fixing my skin barrier, I would have less acne). I do think if you are working on your skin barrier, there are cheaper alternatives that can be used to achieve the same result.

I love the packaging of this. I used this right after washing my face on clean skin. The formula had more of a cream than gel consistency and felt very hydrating. It had no scent and is not oily at all. The repair cream was very hydrating too.

There was nothing bad about the product. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the price point 

I have a combination skin type and I am always weary about products that have oil in them. This cleansing balm has a few natural oils including elderberry and starflower oil. It also has a blend of 9 essential oils. You can see why I was nervous to try it. But I had heard good reviews and so I wanted to give it a shot. 

The balm can be used to take off make up, double cleanse or as a mask. I primarily use it to take off make up. I want to start of by saying that the oils in the cleansing balm did not make me more oily. The balm melted evenly into my face and I could feel my face getting softer. As I was massaging, it converted into a hydrating milk which was impressive. After massaging it into my face, I used a make up remover cloth and pretty much all the make up came off. My pores felt cleaner too. 

It’s slightly scented, not too heavy which was like aromatherapy for me. If you’re sensitive to scents, it may not work for you.

This product is advertised to improve the texture of the skin and I don’t know if I got this benefit. 

The product comes in a sizable bottle. I have been using it for months and I still have some left. I use this essence after cleansing and applying toner. It has no odor/smell. It feels a little gooey in consistency. When I apply the product, I feel intense hydration that lasts me through the day. If you’re looking to achieve the “glass skin”, this should be in your arsenal. 

No major downside. The frequency of acne reduced but I got the occasional bump

It had a gel like consistency and did not have a strong or unpleasant smell. It was well tolerated and I did not feel like my skin was burning.
