It might be too “plain” for a majority of people. Also,  it might not provide enough hydration and/or moisture for people with dry(ier) skin type(s).

📝 Claims (on the box): This ampoule delivers long-lasting hydration throughout the day, leaving it silky, soft, and smooth.

Sensory Qualities: 
🌧 Product is packaged in a 50ml capacity frosted plastic pump bottle. The liquid is transparent and runny, with a hint of viscosity. It is fragrance-free and bears no scent. 

Experience: 
🌧 Hydration is the foundation of my (and a majority of people’s) skincare routine(s). A simple product like this fits well into any regimen, meaning, it could be mixed and matched with pretty much anything. 

🌧 This product reminds me of I’m From’s Pear Serum, as both are weightless humectant-based products. But this ampoule has more noticeable calming effects as it helps lessen the look of inflammation and redness caused by acne. 

🌧 No heaviness, tackiness, irritation, discomfort, or any negativity lol

🌧 The claims are true. It absorbs nicely, providing the skin with a moist and natural complexion, quite silky to touch. The hydration is truly long-lasting, as my skin has yet to experience tautness while using this. (for reference, I have oily skin) 

🌧 I really like it. I’d consider the formula “fool-proof”; I think that skin types on the oilier side of the spectrum would appreciate it as much as I do.

🌳P.CALM Underpore Mask Pack 

🌳Each packet contains 30ml of product, and as you might imagine, the mask is SOAKED to the brim. This utilizes a triple gauze sheet which claims to enhance adhesion and prevent evaporation of any active ingredients. The fitting adheres to my face quite well, so I have no complaints. Now let’s talk about the essence, which took me by surprise. First of all, the texture is super thick (as you can see in the short reel), literally gel, with mucous-like properties. The gel is clear with no scent. Though due to this characteristic, I find that it slips down when I sit upright, which is why I have to readjust it a few times during the first few minutes of usage. Overall, it’s super hydrating and plumping. Squeezing the mask will give you a gold mine of gel essence, which is abundant enough to use for my whole upper body. It’s really fun to use as well.

🌿🌳This mask + the PCALM Porsica Ampoule’s effect on my acne: 
Most importantly, both products are indeed soothing and did a good at calming down/flattening most of my active acne when I used them together. I started using the ampoule on the 6th of May; and the mask every other day for the past ten days. But I only started seeing both of their visible acne-fighting effects just a few days ago. The effects didn’t come instantly, but they still delivered. I’ve been having breakouts since the start of May, but now, a majority of the bumps are gone. I can thank these two for doing the job. 

🐌 This product’s texture is as “snaily” as any snail product can get. Its sliminess causes great spreadability, creating a satisfying experience with every use. It contains hydrating and barrier supporting ingredients such as 90% snail secretion filtrate, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, and Glycerin. It is essential oil/fragrance-free, with no discernible scent. Although it might be goopy upon initial application, giving some time for absorption through patting results in a light and fresh finish. This product is the standard definition of a “snail product”, as it is slimy and has minimal ingredients. It’s a good hydration booster which. Would recommend for all skin types. 

🪴 Though it claims to have sebum-controlling benefits, my skin did not experience it. 

🪴 Having this type of consistency stored in a tub makes it quite messy to use (or it might just be me). 


🪴Review: XYCOS Cica Green Cream

📝Claims (on the box): contains Cica and other green complex extracts to smoothen and firm up the skin; with sebum controlling and soothing benefits. 

Sensory Qualities
🪴A moisturizer possessing the consistency between a lotion and a cream; having a loose body, but not runny. It is contained in a 50ml plastic tub, but it doesn’t come with its own spatula. It is characterized by its light floral scent, which reminds me of a certain brand of shampoo. Although it contains no fragrance and essential oils, the scent is most likely caused by the Damask Rose Water ingredient. 

Experience: 
🪴Despite the “loose” cream consistency of this product, it feels really emollient on the skin. It doesn’t look thick, yet it feels sufficiently rich and nourishing (for reference: my skin type is oily). The second claim, “soothing”, has a bit more truth to it. Though honestly, its moisturizing benefit is more significant than the aforementioned claim.

🪴 It contains a lot of emollients in its ingredient list, thus, my skin finds it quite heavy on days that are hotter than usual. I find this cream ideal for night use, given my emphasis on its moisturizing effect in the preceding paragraph. Though my skin still tolerates it during the day, there are more appropriate creams that I can use. Honestly, I expected this to be more of a gel cream due to its claims that benefit oilier, acne-prone skin types. But I find it alright. 

🪴 Overall, it’s a really good moisture cream for my oily skin (an considerable 4/5). If you’re eyeing on it solely for its sebum-controlling and skin-soothing benefits, then you’ll be better off searching for other options. Oh, and it has a shelf-life of 6 months (sad). 

📝 This intensive soothing serum features SEVEN Centella Asiatica-sourced extracts (A.K.A CICA-7 Complex): (1) Centella Asiatica extract (2) Centella Asiatica LEAF extract (3) Centella Asiatica ROOT extract (4) Asiaticoside (5) Asiatic Acid (6) Madecassic Acid &amp; 
(7) Madecassoside. This formulation aims to strengthen the skin barrier and promote skin healing. 

🤕 A lil’ bit of a backstory: I bought this serum about 5 months ago (I went through 2 bottles now), when my skin was irritated because of trying on too many products at the same time... so why not add ONE MORE product to solve my issue? lol  

🦋 This serum is a moderately viscous formula, having a slightly tacky texture that doesn’t fully go away even after layering it with a moisturizer (I don’t mind tbh). It doesn’t completely dry down hence, it leaves your skin with a hydrated look. Since this product is fragrance-free, it has absolutely no smell to it whatsoever (not even hints of the natural fragrances of its ingredients). 

To get things straight, I LOVE this. This serum certainly solved my “skin overload” issue. I still remember the first night I used this, I immediately felt so hydrated and supple. Three drops of this are enough to cover my whole face. This product has kept my skin barrier in tip-top shape ever since I’ve used this. I use this every night, but now that it has done its purpose for my skin, I now only use this every time my skin needs soothing and healing.  

🎨 I feel like this product is compatible with all skin types. Its effects will be more helpful for sensitive, irritated, and&#47;or weakened skin barrier&#47;s (for skin that needs a hug).
