I have some toners, and I want to empty them quick so I won't throw them still in almost full condition when the PAO end  (and I can try new one quckly too 😄).

Can I just layer different toner in one same routine?

What do you do to empty yours fast?

🌿Jojoba and squalane oil are known to have similar structure to skin compositions. 
🌿Both are non comedogenic, good at keeping skin hydrated, and blend well with other products (can be used for diluting strong actives, or make light moisturizer a bit thicker). 
🌿That said, jojoba oil has an antioxidant benefit compare to squalane. 
🌿Originally, squalane oil were derived from shark liver. But now, there are vegan options derived from sugarcane or olive.

Has anyone try these two oils?

From your experience, which one do you prefer and why?
Do you have any favourite brand?

Jojoba oil vs (vegan) squalane oil

What's your favourite hydrating/ moisturizing products to pair with retinoids to tackle the dryness? 

I use Round lab dokdo lotion or Bioderma atoderm cream for day, and mix with TO squalane for night use. If there's some flaky spots, I'll tap Vaseline balm on top of it.

👉Do you opt to play safe (not trying new product, not exfoliating, etc)?

My skin would be more oily, so I need to cut back moisturizing a little. Otherwise it would trigger pimples to appear
On my heavy days, I don't feel like doing complicated step. So basic routine it is.

I think I need one to use frequently in between my a.m - p.m routine. I'm on retinoid, and am experiencing dry flaky skin right now.

Spray/ mist moisturizer

Loved by so many people, but just didn't work for me 💔
I rarely have pimple. So when 1-2 red bumps appears, I know there's something not right. That's what happened whenever I used this toner.
If I stop using it, there's no new pimple. It started to reappear when I tried to put it on again.
No rash, itch nor flaky skin, just pimples...

Texture was nice. No scent, at least I cannot identified one. Short listed and has good ingredients in it.
Came in plastic bottle packaging, slim and lightweight, perfect for travel (altough there's mini size available now).

❌ My skin felt a little bit tight after using this, even tighter than my foaming cleanser. I had to quickly go to the next step of my routine to avoid this.
❌ It also made me breakouts (zits, close comedone).

It might night suitable for me because I'm not wearing any makeups nor waterproof sunscreens.

⭕ Convenience and easy to use. I don't have to use my finger as on a cleansing balm
⭕ No artificial fragarance I guess, but rather a little unpleasant
⭕ Non-stinging to the eyes (just a little blurring when it got to my eyes, but easily washed off).
⭕ Come in generous big size, but smaller size also available for travel.

❌Menggunakan push button type dropper, bukan pipet biasa. Memang lebih elegan, tp rentan rusak yg malah ga bisa dipake buat ambil serumnya nanti.


🏷Serum exfoliasi dengan kandungan AHA 6% dan willow  bark, juga sedikit salicylic acid. Teksturnya kental nyaris seperti gel sehingga menurut saya lebih mudah diaplikasikan, lebih rata dan ga tumpah2. 
🏷Saya baru coba pakai 1x, didiamkan semalaman. Untuk sy yg ga pernah exfo (kecuali pake toner PCA), lumayan mengelupaskan kulit besoknya. Tapi sedikiiit banget.
🏷Ga ada rasa pedes2 tingling grenyem, hanya semalaman memang kulit agak kurang nyaman dan sedikit panas.
🏷Komedo jadi gampang lepas juga.
🏷Isinya cuma 15 ml, tp kalau hanya dipakai 1-2x/ minggu bisa irit banget, krn hanya 2 drop juga cukup.

Repurchase? Not sure. Mau lihat dl efek jangka panjangnya.

Pertama: kemasannya kardusnya!! Untuk produk seharga lebih dari 120ribu (sz 15 ml), kemasannya ga sesuai. Bahan karton tipis, seperti suvenir kawinan grosir (sorry to say ya)
Kedua: Dia mattifying banget! Jadi untuk kulit kering, ga enak rasanya. Mungkin lebih cocok untuk kulit oily.

Mengandung Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Niacinamide, Ferulic acid, Alpha Arbutin, Vitamin E dan Sea buckthorn extract, secara teori bagus untuk mencerahkan kulit. Dan selama kurang dari satu minggu pemakaian pagi memang PIH ku tampak memudar. Tapi pemakaiannya aku barengi dengan produk lain juga.
Produk ini ga bikin breakout. Teksturnya watery gel yang cepat menyerap. Ada sedikit bau seperti cengkeh(?), yg cepat hilang.

It was marketed safe for sensitives skin, so I bought it with confidence. But sadly it wasn't for me. It contains abundant brightening agents (niacinamide, tranexamic acid, vit C derivates and madecassoside) which was looks promising. Apparently the formulation was too strong for my combi-dry sensitive skin. My skin get a little flaky and I'm not comfortable using it.

It also contain Zea mays /corn starch that absorbs oil, so it could contribute to dryness I felt.

People with sensitive skin should consider the irritancy potential before trying.

The 100 ml size come with glass bottle, and good quality pipette/dropper. 
That's all the good side for me 😅
