My sister has dry/sensitive skin, and she was asking me if she should use a particular line from a brand or curate her routine from various brands. I told her that it is better to mix and match (but of course, it is coming from someone who has oily/sensitive skin) while she thinks it is safer to use one skin-care line.

This toner has a light, watery consistency and a herbal scent. The green tea extract gives it a light brown tint, which, by the way, stained some of my clothes. I'm really pleased that this toner arrived at a time when my skin was beginning to become overly greasy due to the hot weather. This absorbs quickly and doesn't leave tackiness behind. It's pretty effective in controlling my skin's sebum production, but if I don't moisturize enough, it gets too drying, even for my oily skin.

I layer this with other moisturizing toners to balance my skin's sebum production (I still want a little oiliness, y'know). It doesn't feel extremely refreshing, but it did manage to soothe my skin. Overall, I can see why this product is so popular. It is true to its claims and does not irritate the skin.

This serum uses hyaluronic acid with a low molecular to improve absorption and fill the skin with hydration. The texture of this serum is somewhere between watery and viscous, however, once applied to the skin, it absorbs fast and leaves a beautiful finish. It's comfortable to use on damp skin, and it goes well with other products.

I needed to compensate for the peeling and dryness caused by the actives I am using, which is perfect for the job. It's not overly moisturizing, but it's enough to keep my skin hydrated and moist. It delivers a refreshing feeling to the skin and a cooling sensation. I usually use 2-3 drops after toner, both AM and PM routine.

Overall, this serum has simple ingredients but has a great formulation to keep the skin plump and hydrated. It's not a game-changer for me because I have oily skin, but it's a nice product for when I need to give my skin a water break.

Some people may want to avoid this if they can't stand the strange scent, and I've read from others that it causes other skin problems rather than solving them. It also contains a lot of oils that might irritate others.

(Which could explain why this cream has a pungent, spicy, or peppery scent 🤔) but rest assured the fragrance is naturally derived. 

Hands down to this cream! Its matte finish makes it suitable for use in both AM and PM skincare routine. In my night routine, I use a lot of actives and layer other non-essential steps until my face appears greasy, and this cream is absolutely perfect for locking everything in and protecting my skin barrier. It didn't feel suffocating, and it just felt like there was nothing on my skin! A little goes a long way with my oily skin, while people with dry skin should use a generous amount. 

I like that this cream comes with medical testing that appears to have yielded results for some people with more major skin conditions (some dermatologists do recommend this to their patients). Overall, I believe this cream is suitable for all skin types and ages. As for me, I have had no negative reactions to it, and it feels great on my skin. I might even add this to my go-to-damage-control products.

A pump bottle would be nice for this product.

This serum has a very thick consistency that immediately melts into the skin, leaving it moist and glowy without leaving stickiness behind. It applies smoothly and gives a lovely finish. There is a distinct smell, but it isn't unpleasant or bothersome.

It's the first time I've heard of the ingredient 'Chaenomeles Sinensis,' but after some research, I discovered that it's already in many products. This fruit extract is an antioxidant, astringent, and humectant, so it's a great addition to this serum since it tightens pores and strengthens the skin barrier. This serum is also great for dull skin since it contains just the appropriate amount of Niacinamide to brighten the skin complexion and make it appear much healthier.

After applying a Vitamin C serum in the morning, I use this, and they go well together. I like how it feels on my skin and is great to use under sunscreens or base make-ups. Overall, it's a nice Niacinamide product that's gentle on the skin and quite nourishing. 

𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧: Dull Skin

Overall, I am not really impressed as I prefer more soothing and thicker creams.

This gel-cream has a pleasant texture and sets well to the skin. This cream is moisturizing enough for my oily skin, lightweight, and leaves no stickiness. Sometimes it may take a while to absorb fully when I use too much or when my skin is greasy from other serums, but it's still great because it doesn't cause pilling (it is even better to layer with the Isntree Natural Sun cream). It delivers a refreshing and cooling sensation which I love. But because of the short PAO and the fact that it's twice the size of most creams, I decided to share it with my sister (and she likes to keep her routine basic, so she really enjoyed using this cream).

 This is still something I will use to layer with other products to boost hydration on my skin. I recommend this to those with oily-combination skin or if you are just intrigued to try this, then go buy it, I assure you that it won't trigger any skin irritations as its formulation is really nice and sensitive-skin friendly.
