Is it important to repair skin barrier? How to know my skin barrier is damage? Any recommended product?

Hi, can i ask an opinion about moisturiser? Lately im changing my moisturizer because i wanna try retinol. But my old moisturiser is somebymi AHA. BHA. PHA 30 days miracle cream. As i know retinol and AHA BHA cannot be wear together. So i change my moisturizer into iunik centella calming gel.

When i use iunik centella gel i did the patch test several time. But when i put it under my nose it feel uncomfortable when i exhale my breath it feel hot and tingly. Then i stop using it. I think that i cannot use something with tea tree in it. 🤔

Next i try laneige cream skin refiner. I do the patch test stuff and it okay. My skin doesnt feel hot or tingly neither itchy. But it sticky tho. I use laneige for a week now. Oh i did try simple hydrating light moisturiser too. But when i did patch test on my nose it stinging. 

Should i change or stick to this laneige CSR. Or any suggestions for moisturiser that affordable?

Hi. I just start a new skincare on my skin. And there is a new pimple pop out. Is it purging or breakout pimple? Im so confuse right now.
