Hey! I recently received a few products from skin1004, and I had been using for a week. At first, I saw the cheek of my face turns slightly red, so I thought maybe it is due to me working out. But the situation continues, it is not blush, it is pinkish and I can see my blood vessels kind of situation (normally I can't see any of those). I am only using the brightening ampoule and basic routine. 

This became worse when I decided to try the Madagascar ampoule instead of the brightening ones, thinking it might be more gentle, it is not😭. This is my first time that I feel my skin is irritated so badly, that I feel the burning sensation. 

I know I should've patch test, but the Madagascar ampoule only has one ingredient! My question is should I continue with the brightening one? It does make my cheek having those blood vessels thing, is it consider as skin irritation?🧐 It is my very first time having to deal with this situation, anyone please help😣

1. Might be the high concentration of Centella Asiatica or tranexamic acid that caused my sensitive skin reacts badly
2. Solution: Stopped using it, and use skin barrier cream to heal my skin barrier
3. Lesson of the day: Always patch test new product even if it contains only one ingredient. And stop using the product when your skin reacts badly.

😎My thoughts:
1. Watery consistency, lightweight and odorless liquid
2. Felt sticky if one full pump is used, a sheen appeared after application due to slow absorption
3. High moisturization which lasted for a whole day. For me, no moisturizer in daytime if I am using this ampule, else I am gonna shine in a bad way
4. Irritation faded very slowly after application
5. When layered it with Allie's sunscreen, redness appeared.
6. Found out that it 'heals' and faded the redness of my acne scar which I found it hard to fade within 4 days of application🥳

Best Korean Sunscreen Ranking! (Hwahae)

Hey y'all! My current eye cream is finishing soon, so I am here to get some recommendations👀  I have quite sensitive eyes and milia prone. Would like eye cream that's hydrating and helps with wrinkle care! I appreciate any product suggestions!

Current eye cream is tagged below. I feel that it doesn't do much to help with my fine lines underneath my eyes.

Eye cream needed!

- Not able to cleanse waterproof eyeliner, and lip tint.

+ sherbet-liked balm texture, turns into oil immediately when you rub it, and finally turns white when you add water to it
+ opt for this since it doesn't need the use of cotton pads

+ product claims:
1. Thorough cleansing (4/5) - perfectly removes most of the makeup and partially on waterproof eyeliner and lip tint
2. Maintain moisture (4/5) - face feels hydrated and soft after cleanse
3. No spilling (5/5) - it wouldn't spill, and it is definitely travel friendly!

+ correct instruction: 
1. Scoop out sufficient amount and gentle apply on skin without water.
2. Massage in preferred motion until all makeup is melted/dissolved.（sherbet into oil form)
3. Add water to it and massage the whole face. You'll see it turns white. This particular step is VERY important, as the water emulsifies the oil! Without this, the oil might not be cleansed completely and caused tiny bumps or even breakout.
4. Rinse normally with water.

+ overall:
It is a great option if don't wear super waterproof makeup. For my combination sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation, and it is quite hydrating. It didn't irritate my eyes as well. I personally will follow-up with a face cleanser out of habit. 

- It produces white cast when I applied on my hand as shown in the image! Since my hand is probably one tone darker than my face, I think people might experience white cast with this. BUT, I actually think the cast won't last long and would disappear when the product sinks into your skin.
- Realize it contains some 'risky' ingredients,  but I still love it

- Those 'risky' ingredients turned out to be essential oils and fragrance ingredients in this products such as lavender oil, orange peel oil, limonene and linalol. 
- The whitecast issue persists till these days.

+ My rating towards the claims:

My thoughts:
+ This is by far the BEST sunscreen I have ever used because it helps to control the oil on my face! Throughout the day, my T-zone can get really oily but with this sunscreen applied, it produces noticeably less oil! 
+ It gives me a really nice pinkish tone-up effect that looks really nature! I did not encounter any white cast on my face as I am quite fair. 
+ Absorbs really fast, and finish matte. 
+ Doesn't cause any issue with makeup.
+ Stay put all day! No grease on face! Loved it!
+ Doesn't clog pores or anything

3 years later and after most probably 5 tubes of this sunscreen...

Good news! 🎉🎉It's still my HG sunscreen even after all these years! My impression of this product remains and I can safely say that the formulation is still top tier, I would personally rank it higher than the skin1004 hyalucica sunscreen due to my preference for tone up sunscreen. The consistency is creamy, easy to spread, lightweight and non-greasy. It still manages to impress me with it's properties to reduce the oil sebum production throughout the day. Unlike most recent sunscreens in the market, it has a matte finish which I really miss and appreciate. It's sweatproof, non creasing nor pilling. I think the highest compliment is that, "it simply works!".

- For me, I find it is more nourishing and hydrating than my lightweight creams. If you have extremely oily skin, recommend to use only smaller quantity and tap it on skin.

1. How it feels?
- It's a combination of slimy+stringy+greasy texture. At first, I was skeptical with this consistency for being sticky on face but it doesn't feel stringy once you spread it on skin. It has a serum-liked consistency for an essence, so I use this in my serum step right before moisturizer! Skin looks shiny and dewy after application. It's quite hydrating and has a 'sealing' effect which reminds me of face oil product. Upon testing it daily consistently for more than 2 weeks, my skin feels firmer and brighter!

2. Suitable for?
- All skin type. For oily skin, once daily provides just enough hydration we need. 
** Since it contains bean ferments, some skin might react to it. Always patch test before using it.

3. What's the best part?
- It is one of my top antiaging essence which makes my skin feels firmer! I love how nourishing it feels and that it replaces my hyaluronic acid serum. It contains ferments and amino acids rich in beans that boost skin immunity and vitality. If you're in your mid or late 20's, looking for an antiaging serum, this is it!


What's the concerning part?
- Since I have been testing this by face and my right hand. I noticed that my right hand seems to be dehydrated. It's scaling in the area I applied sunscreen, and the lines of my skin are more visible. 
- It has essential oil, so it could be a no-no for the others

1. My first impression
- It has no difference with typical chemical sunscreens. It is not thick, and it certainly doesn't has visible whitecast. 

2. Suitable for?
- Upon testing it for a week daily, I think it is very suitable for oily sensitive skin since it didn't left my face looking greasy or irritated throughout the day. 

3. How it feels?
- It has a cream consistency, that glides on skin easily. It spreads well and feels very lightweight on skin. It feels waterproof to me! It doesn't rub off easily! If you reapply your sunscreen frequently, you can definitely feels that it is getting thicker. 

4. Whitecast?
Since I have a fair skintone, I didn't even notice the whitecast which is temporary. After testing on my hands, it does has a slight whitecast that lasted for 5 minutes. Then, no more whitecast!

5. What's the best part?
- Lightweight, and doesn't make my T-zone oily.

The color is long lasting, yet the glossy layer can be wiped off.

Skin color: Usually 17C/21C korean foundation (light cool tone)

This lip gloss tint amazed me in my first application! It looks and stay glossy✨✨ for a long period of time without drying my lips (contains squalane). The color I chose match my expectation as I want something with a brick red color with slight brown undertone. Its a product that the color can be built up by layering, so the color gets more pigmented when you layer more. By testing, this lip color is suitable for daily look by applying only one to two layers. As claimed, this product didn't settle into creases and it tinted my lips slightly even after the glossy layer is wiped off. Unlike lip tint that faded leaving light pink color, this gloss tint fades leaving a tint on lips which is similar to the original color. This is my favorite gloss tint in my collection of lip tint. Its doesn't leave my lips looking dull the next day and I would just love to try other color shades of the same product line! Very impressed and satisfied with the experience. It's a 5 star product!💗💗
