My derm asked me to start using some AHA/BHA products (serum or moisturiser) for my pigments. What do you guys recommend. I have oily skin.

I recently bought this sunscreen due to the many good reviews I read, not only here but everywhere else!

I agree that the texture is very light and it doesn’t leave a white cast. Unfortunately it is not matifying. I do not like the sticky feeling so I end up putting loose powder on top. 

Anyone has any recommendations for sunscreen that is matifying?

I just got back from a beach vacation and got a bad sunburn on my forehead and a lot of new freckles 😿 Anyone has any advice for me? I am using hydrating night mask for now. Not sure what else I can use to improve the situation faster

What’s your favourite Vitamin C serum? I was using Murad’s Vitamin C serum (Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum) and it was just so so. I prefer their Resurgence range (retinol series). 

Recently I was recommended to use the Sothys Noctuelle Renovative Pure Vit C capsules (I am unable to tag this product as it is not available in this app yet, I have just requested the product). They deliver 20% pure vitamin C to the skin and I find the result amazing. My skin was obviously better! My skin appears smoother after 1 week! Skin looks more supple and tone was more even. Unfortunately it is extremely costly and that is why I don’t think I will repurchase. 

Can anyone recommend any good vitamin C serum?

I received this product in the December Picky box.  Urbandand is a korean brand that is new to me. I love their packaging very very much. The haircare products arrived in an environmental friendly packaging. I love the product so much and was thrilled try the shampoo bar (and it came with a net). The foam is amazing and a little goes a long way! I personally prefer the shampoo bar to the self foaming shampoo. The scent is not strong, a very natural scent that smells clean. 

My hair appears more healthy and straight with repeated use. I highly recommend these and i will definitely continue to use them

I was so curious about this sunscreen so I decided to buy & try it eventhough I already have many sunscreens 😅 

First impression, good packaging. Recycled paper and soy ink. However I don’t like the cap. It’s the screw type, I prefer pump or click type. 

The consistency is very light, and absorbs easily. No white cast. I love the smell of this sunscreen, it is how the traditional sunscreen smells like ~ the sunscreen smell 😂 I am weird, I like this sunscreen smell. 

This sunscreen leaves a dewy finish, I would prefer a more matte finish (because I have oily skin), but i still give this a 5🌟 That is how much I love this sunscreen.

I am into exfoliating serum now and I prefer this to harsh physical exfoliants (face scrubs).

It is super easy to use, just pat it onto the skin after cleansing and then followed by your regular serum. Basically i use it like a toner. 

HaruHaru Wonder’s Centella 3% PHA Gentle Liquid Exfoliating Serum is truly very gentle. PHA is a gentle exfoliant as compared to AHA and BHA. On top of that, Centella is added for soothing, hence i highly recommend this to those with sensitive skin but would like to try chemical exfoliant. 

I had no issues with this exfoliant and I love the simple and clean packaging. 

Tacky for oily skin, shouldnt be a problem for normal to dry skin

I am in my 40s and I have oily skin and fine lines around my eyes, nose and mouth. 

First impression: the glass bottle is very elegant. I love pump bottles (as compared to tubes and jars). 

Texture is gel like, very light with a faint fragrance. I apply this every night after cleaning and toner and before my moisturiser. I find this serum a bit too heavy for my oily skin. Sometimes I omit the moisturiser after applying this serum. However it does make my skin looks more hydrated and glossy the next morning but I don’t see a big difference in my fine lines. Maybe it takes a longer time as I have only been using this for 3 weeks. 

In conclusion, I will recommend this to those who has normal to dry skin. 

Price is on the higher side. This is my second bottle. I dont think it did anything remarkable to my dark spots. I don’t think i will repurchase another one
