Please, can you spam me with suggestions of serums/toners/ essences.. any product really.. that can work magic with sudden skin redness and Dryness?

Something that Instantly relieves your skin tightness.

I am on holiday in a hot place at the moment and my skin is not enjoying the intense heat. 
It's more sensitive and red.

I need something cooling, that can act fast on redness and dehydration.

Please help 😢

Can someone recommend a product similar to this cleanser?

I fell in love and feels like nothing I tried before.

But the price fluctuates so much and can only buy it from Korea (and pay shipping).

Can anyone recommend a product that feels similar on the skin? Something with similar nourishing feeling but easier to find or cheaper?

Nothing bad really .. it might be a bit too occlusive and you might feel it on skin, especially if your skin leans on the oily side.. in this case the cream might be a better choice (my skin is dry and I still prefer the cream).
If your skin is not troubled this product might be a bit boring but it serves its purpose.

This is an absolutely excellent product when your barrier is comprised and everything 'stings'.
The ingredient lists is short and they have removed all possible allergens (including preservatives!).
When my skin is acting up this is the only product that does not burn.
The packaging is fantastic, I love the airless pump, so efficient, hygienic and surprisingly it allows you to use the product fully, nothing gets wasted.
Fragrance free and scent free.

I have seen so many content creators raving about this toner and I understand why....

It's simple, ticks lots of boxes and it's very unlikely to irritate sensitive skin.
It's pleasant and a nice addition to a routine...BUT..

I do not feel like it makes a great difference to the health of my skin, it's just a very normal hydrating toner but does not really stand out from the crowd in my opinion.

It is a very simple and versatile product.

Everyone can use it, no matter your skin type.

I am really glad they have a fragrance and e/o free version as I hated the original toner. I Hated that overpowering lavender smell and my skin could not  handle it when already irritated or sensitive.

It contains very simple but beneficial ingredients:

- Fermented Korean black rice extract 
- Fermented bamboo shoot bark extract
- Hyaluronic acid 
- Beta Glucan 
- Ginseng root extract.

It is colourless and odourless and it is thin in consistency, but still slightly thicker than water, it's got some body to it.

Once applied to the skin it absorbs fairly quicky and leaves the skin hydrated but not sticky.

It's just a nice and light toner.
 It comes in two sizes: 150ml and 300ml sturdy plastic bottles.

The price is affordable, with the 'jumbo' bottle often going for less than £20!

Overall I like it, but I am not blown away.

This serum was a very nice surprise... I honestly did not think I would like it so much, as I tried the toner from the same line and it was not for me at all!

 😍😍😍Now onto the positives 👍👍👍 :

❤️ I adore the texture: it is light but viscous and hydrating, glides so well onto the skin and feels calming.

❤️ It's fragrance free (unlike the toner) or at least I cannot detect any scent 

❤️ Ingredients: it contains 71% licorice root water, (it's a great calming ingredient), niacinamide, oat kernel extract (calming), beta glucan (calming, hydrating) and even a small amount of pycnogenol (lovely antioxidant Ingredient).

❤️ I like the packaging: it's a dark rigid plastic bottle with a dropper. Simple and effective. The dropper works well by the way, picks up the correct quantity (I use a full dropper for my face and massage until absorbed).

❤️ Very affordable

❤️ Overall it's a low risk product and it's worth a try, if you have sensitive skin it might help.

❤️ No conflicts: does not contain ingredients difficult to pair so it can be slotted pretty much into any skincare routine without worrying too much! It's just a nice, hydrating and calming serum that goes well with stronger actives and gives a little moisture boost to the skin!

❤️ Important: when my skin is not in great shape this serum DOES NOT sting! 


Does not play well under makeup, much better as a night cream.
I like how occlusive it feels, but might be suffocating for someone with very oily skin.
This is a heavy duty moisturiser, not a light breathable gel cream and I love it for what it is.


I like pyunkang Yul as a brand.

They do simple yet effective products and this cream is no exception!

The texture surprised me:

It is SO thick and buttery but spreads well and although it does not have a glossy finish (I would have liked it), it feels very occlusive.
I use it as a sleeping pack, as the last step of my night routine and it works so well.
Seals everything in!

It contains minimal (but effective) ingredients :

- Glycerine 
- Macadamia Seed Oil 
- Shea Butter
- Ceramide NP
- Peony extract
- Turmeric Root Extract 
- Beta Glucan
- Copper Tripeptide-1 
- Aloe leaf powder 

It comes in a sturdy 50ml dark blue glass jar, although I normally don't like glass packaging I love this one! I am keeping the empty jars because they are so pretty, they look expensive 🫰 

It looks expensive but it's not! I paid £12 for this cream! I have repurchased already.
So affordable.

It's white and fragrance free.
Must be very mild as it does not sting my skin, even when it's not in great condition.

I think this is a fantastic barrier cream and works well as a sleeping mask or in very cold weather.

Not greasy but very thick and occlusive.

It didn't work for my skin at all! 😔

It has never really done anything for my skin.. when my skin is in good shape it makes no difference..

When my skin is a little bit more sensitive it actually reacts to this, it stings badly and worsens redness (but it claims to do the opposite).

I am not sure why my skin hates it as I have the cream from the same line (please check my review!) And I love the moisturiser so much I have repurchased it. 

It is not a bad product but it's a NO from me.

Plenty of nice and gentle Korean toners out there for half the price.

- Considering the overall brand pricing, this is not extremely expensive (especially if bought on sale!) Plus the size is quite decent (190ml) as some of PC toners are really tiny I don't even bother buying them!

- Texture is nice, like a milky liquid, fairly thin consistency (I personally prefer thinner toners) but with a bit more body that just water.

- The ingredient list seems really nice (primrose oil, vitamin E, some vitamin c derivatives, superoxide dismutase, niacinamide etc).

- Fragrance and scent free.

- Packaging is simple but effective (although I prefer when I can see how much I have left)
