I need help. Desperately. I desire to be the full face of make-up at times type. Issue is, I am a tom-boy. I know NOTHING about make-up. I don't know how to pick my shades, I don't know how to blend. I don't know how to do anything other than put eyeliner on my waterline, and curl my lashes (maybe/at times) and put on mascara. I also have no idea how to shape my eyebrows. (I have a lasy-eye so it kinda makes that difficult) I want to take some time and do a full face one day. I am a stay at home mom of 2 babies, 2 and a half and 7 months old. My oldest is on the spectrum. I don't get much time but I need to make time and make myself feel good again, for my sanity. 🥲

What are some ingredients you avoid in make up and skin care while you're pregnant and or during lactation? I am aware there are some key ingredients to avoid, just looking for everyones input and personal input as well!

What would be your biggest/most important tip that you could or would tell someone who is brraannndddd new to make up? And when I say brand new, I mean has no clue what a BB cream is, or what order to do their make up, etc.

Let's have a discussion, what is your favorite mascara and why? Is it a brush, wand, curved, straight, etc? How well can you build it? I am curious as per what mascara will be mentioned the most!

Favorite mascara and why?

I disliked how there was a lack of ingredients on the product or the information booklet. 

I love the bright pink color to it, and that a little bit went a long way! I have dry and sensitive skin and this did not bother my skin at all! I love how well it provides a barrier for your face, and also leaves your skin feeling hydrated!

The texture of this is slightly slimy and as someone who has dehydrated/dry sensitive skin I was semi suspect of how this would work for me. However, this is a holy grail in my eyes! It hydrates sssoo well! My skin is actually not flaky anymore after a few weeks of using this! Which is HUGE! I have lupus so I often deal with skin issues and sensitivity like crazy, and this product did NOT irritate my skin in any way at all!

Scent was not expected but bit a deal breaker

This easy bake setting powder has a slight scent to it, which I was not aware of till I opened it. Either that said, the scent is light and airy but leaves a slight tickle in your nose. The color is pigmented and really sets well! I bake for a few minutes and then wipe off the excess with a brush. This left my skin looking light, flawless, and airbrushed almost!

I do not have a nut allergy myself but I see many say that if they have a nut allergy they have a bad reaction to this. I personally have not experienced this but no where on the package does it say it was processed in a facility that houses or processes nuts. So I feel that something with that significant of an allergy should be mentioned even if it is in the same facility/premises.

This formula is lightweight and really absorbed well into my skin. It does not have a scent to it. It feels nice and silky and smooth in your fingers and as you work it into your skin. It does not take much to work this in at all. It definitely made my skin more radiant, had a nice glow about it, very hydrated, and plump! 

If you use too much it can make your hair greasy looking and feeling. 

I recently got to try out Olaplex No. 5 Leave in conditioner for the first time ever trying something from this brand. With this said, my hair is fine, pin straight, and EXTREMELY long (between 4 and 5 feet long). I am also a stay at home mom of 3 kids aged 3 and under. I also have health issues that cause my hair to thin and be dry. I have not let anyone treat, touch, cut or do anything to my hair (besides myself this is of course) for over 10 years. I take PRIDE in my hair. With hair the length mine is, split ends are bound to happen. As well as the continued being pregnant, then postpartum, and pregnant again, my hair is in need of a lot of love after the last 5 years especially. Olaplex' leave in conditioner provided quick and noticeable results after the first use! I was and stil am truly shocked as per how well this works! This products packaging is right on point, sleek, and modern appeal to the eye. The pump is easy to use as well, making it easy to press one handed if needed. The formula, oh man!, it is so lightweight and really does an amazing job! A little goes a long way and really works into your hair well! I noticed right away how much softer, silkier, smoother, and overall healthier my hair looked and felt after the very first use! As I used it more and more, my hair became so soft, it was like my high school days! I honestly am blown away by the immediate results as well as the prolonged results I have and continue to see! This review was collected as part of a promotion. Even with that said, I am being 100 percent honest about my opinion on this product. I am a new HUGE fan of Olaplex!
