I have to make a confession... I just can't live without a first essence: it's a staple in my routine. 
I've used up 3 bottles of Neogen one and 2 bottles of Missha's and I want to be clear: I love them both! 😍
✨ They're both alcohol, fragrance & essential oil-free. 
✨ Both of them feels like water, but don't let this thin and light texture fool you - it's packs a punch of moisturization! With consistent use I can feel how my dehydrated skin getting better and better everyday 😍🥺
And it's all thanks to the fermented ingredients in these essences: they're so good for the health and strength of your skin barrier. And they can also decrease sensitivity, improve elasticity, moisturize and soothe. 
And combo of fermented ingredients + niacinamide just hits different: it's a superhero for any needs of the skin. Missha and Neogen did a great job combining them in one product. 
But if the key ingredients in both essences are the same... Is there any difference between them? 🤔

💦 Missha essence:
🌿 minimalist approach;
🌿 cholesterol and ceramide NP for skin barrier; 🔥🔥🔥
🌿 Adenosine, Sodium PCA, Glycerin;
🌿 80% fermented yeast extract (not specified which ones were used). 

💦 Neogen essence:
🌿 soothing and antioxidant benefits of green tea;
🌿 a bunch of skin-identical ingredients such as: Arginine, Glycine, Serine, Aspartic Acid, Alanine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Threonine, Valine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate (I guess it's their patented complex "artificial tears");
🌿 93% fermented ingredients (Bifida Ferment Lysate, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Betula Alba Juice, Rice Ferment Filtrate (Sake), Aspergillus Ferment). 

I like to use Neogen's essence in my AM routine. Pro/prebiotics + niacinamide + green tea = strengthening of my skin barrier + sebum control + antioxidant. 
Missha's essence is great in its simplicity because I can use it with other  activities and not be afraid that I give my skin too much ingredients in one row.

Essence: Neogen VS Missha

Очень хорошая эссенция,  даёт более эффективное восстановление чем Missha. Очень действенна в сезон отопления, помогает бороться с обезвоженностью кожи

Для себя особых недостатков не нашла. Единственное - это вопрос доступности. Мало где можно приобрести. Цена немного завышена, тк сыворотка хорошая, но не феноменальная

Консистенция очень крутая: не оставляет липкости, но при этом даёт мгновенное успокоение и увлажнение. Удобная помпа. Не вызвало никаких раздражений. Можно почитать с любым активом

1) Иногда лично для меня аромат был слишком сильным
2) Для утра тяжеловат - так что это исключительно ночной вариант ухода или ухода в осенне-зимний период

Очень приятная текстура, можно наслаивать, не скатывается под любых уходом, приятный аромат, успокаивает

Dupe for Krave Beauty "Beet The Sun" and my favorite SPF for winter time😍

✨This suncreen have been proven to have SPF53.1 PA++++.
Texture fells like butter, melts under the fingertips into essence in seconds. Similar to discounted Krave Beauty one, but less runny. Great under makeup and easily to reapply over it. 

Key ingredients: 
🌿 Marine Algae Extract: antioxidant
🌿 Beet Root Extract: antioxidant, might be able to increase the concentration of NMFs (natural moisturizing factors) 
🌿 Niacinamide: controls sebum production, helps with ance and post inflammatory pigmentation, anti-aging

In this sunscreen you can see 5 new generation filters (same as in Krave Beauty one):
1. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, 
2. Bis-Ethylhexyloxyohenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine 
3. EthylhexylTriazone
4. Isoamyl p-Methoxycinnamate
5. Polysilicone-15

Will l repurchase? 
Definitely yes!

The exact concentration of AHA's isn't indicated but it's not strong for sure, suitable for both a newbie and a person with sensitive skin. But it's not cutting it with my PIH. 😔
So, on one side it's a simple cica toner (90% of Centella)... but on the other side I'm afraid to use other activities in my routine because it has AHA and Vitamin C in it. 🧐
For me it's a good product for the time when it's not my exfoliation day but I want extra something-something. 

I'll gladly empty this toner, but I don't think I'll repeat it because it complicates my routine and makes it kinda boring.

🌺Texture: I like how James Welsh describes some toners as a "fat water " ones and in my opinion it's the one.

I've been using this toner for almost a month now everyday in my evening routine. 
It gives you a nice glow from within.
I like how it's soothes my skin after a long day spent in a room with low humidity. The feeling of that instant relief is probably the best part of my evening. 😅
